Best meal we had in Istanbul. The slow cooked lamb was divine, the Iskander was moorish and the deserts were decadent… I could not recommend more!

…and the salad was a perfect addition!

This place is definitely worth the hype!

One of the best if not the best lamb shank I’ve ever had. The place is crowded but the service was efficient. The star of the show is indeed the meat but all the other dishes and sides were equally great. The bread was warm and crispy, the veggies were fresh and tasty. Etli ekmek was also very tasty especially for Istanbul standards (a specialty originally from Konya).

I truly hope this restaurant will manage to keep the authenticity and keep the bar high despite the fame.

Came here for dinner after the dancing dervish show. We were directed to go upstairs (3F) to be seated. Service was relatively quick and attentive. The lamb was fall of the bone tender and delicious. Pide was flavorful and you can tell it was freshly made. They did run out of the rice so I would suggest to come earlier in the day. The okra soup was interesting but not something I would order again. Definitely highly recommend this place for anyone that’s in the area looking to somewhere to eat.

Best lamb I have ever had in my life! That’s a huge statement especially coming from me that only eat meat. I totally recommend you coming here if you like lamb and you are in Istanbul. I wouldn’t say the service is amazing, but it’s ok. It’s one of those places I would return again and again, even if doesn’t offer a 5 star service.

Pide: thin and flavor. Lam chop super soft and tender. Owner seems very popular on media when check on those news on paper. Like here. Istanbul really have good food here

Was very good experience, good location, food was soooo delicious and tasty..customer service was good and fast, washroom was in the 4th floor lol..

We really enjoyed our meal, the food was very flavorful and I think it was the best lamb shank I have tasted. The restaurant is very busy. It was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. If you are on a budget you may want to check before being seated, a table left after seeing the menu and prices (overheard). They may be a victim of the restaurant success. If you are a mutton lover, please visit this place as they are the experts. I went their based on YouTube video. The food matched my expectation. The meat was fresh, perfectly spiced and cooked tender. Didn't try other dishes there, however, I think it will be good as I found the place quiet busy.

GREAT GREAT GREAT FOOD. I'm speechless. Perfectly cooked, smooth like butter, juicy, great flavor. I didn't expect this at all.

Honestly this was one of my favourite places in the whole of Istanbul!! The ribs were so succulent and soft, only seasoned with salt so you can taste the natural taste of the meat. Other cuts of meats are available and cooked the same as this in an oven, please go here if you ever go to Istanbul.

Probably the best meat (tender & tasty) in whole turkey. I recommend, & the price is reasonable compared to the quality.
Stuff is friendly and always smiling.
I recomend ordering the 150 grams portion if you are not going for appetizers or pide.
Pide are amazing too but ofcourse little bit oily to make the dough crunchy & above expectations.
The resturant have ground floor and 2nd flr for dine in with good spacing but no much place if you have baby stroller.

Güvenç konyalı, deserves its very good reputation. One of the bests in İstanbul. One negative is they never grill the tomato and peppers in the meat plate that''s not good

We spent 5 days in Istanbul but went to this place twice. The lamb shoulder and pide had nicely balanced seasoning. The service is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Awesome place to dine in, Tried their lamb shank and it was so good - soft and drops of the bone . It's a must visit place to taste some good tender lamb meat.
