A short walk from the Blue Mosque, this bazaar is on a side street. Our tourist guide took us there. i know it must be touristy. But so what? if you only have a few hours in Istanbul, this could be a great place to stop to look around and get a few souvenirs. People are friendly and the merchandise is decent. it also happened to be a wonderful spring like day! The whole experience is magnificent. there are cats and dogs, not many, a few, roaming around. but they look well taken care of and do not bother anybody. love this place!

Tons of shops for local souvenirs but also many useful items like jewelry, soap, treats, and scarfs. If the price is not marked ( and even if it is) don’t forget to haggle for a price.

I love this bazar. It offers a quieter and more contained shopping (or wandering) experience. I love the colors, attractive displays, and convenient location of it (just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque).

Nice bazaar, 5 min walk from the blue mosque.
The Bazaar has a variety of items such as spices, sweets, rugs, clothes and souvenirs.
The shopkeepers are friendly but certain items are overpriced to take benefit of the tourists, but do your research on the products you are wanting to purchase and have a maximum price you're willing to pay. Stand your ground and be prepared to walk away if the price is too much.

All great experiences to have shopping here just at the exit of Sultanahmet mosque complex building. The goods are very unique and exclusives.

This is a nice bazaar outside the blue mosque. I like this better than the grand bazaar. I find the shop owners here less pushy, and the items very unique compared to the other bazaars. If you shop there with Painting, if you like to have original artwork from Istanbul. The jewellery is also handmade like unique items you can find either for wholesale, but also for gifts there’s a shop called Sufi, which has the most unique items I’ve ever seen. One shop has a lot of paintings from local artist. The prices are reasonable if you could also negotiate with the owner actually sold his paintings to Bill Clinton 20 and 25 years ago. It’s a small duck market to be able to enjoy without feeling hassled.

Excellent walkable bazaar to spend a good chunk of time looking at rugs, spices, sweets and lots of other traditional textiles. This bazaar is not too crowded and is surrounded by restaurants and coffee houses

Much better bazaar than the grand bazaar. Cheaper and more local authenticity. Grand variety of items such carpets, spices, rugs, clothes and souvenirs. The markets take you back in time. The shopkeepers are really friendly but certain items are especially over-priced to take benefit of the tourists. Always haggle for stuff but make sure you don't exceed too much.

If you are in the area, you should stroll down this street. It's a small bazaar near the Hagia Sofia mosque. You can find a lot of great souvenirs with good prices. Definitely negotiate with the shop keepers. They enjoy it!

Souvenirs, carpets, candies, jewelry, handmade things and a mosaic museum (remains of a Imperial Byzantine Palace), all in one historical, traditional Bazaar❗ It is connected (see the staircase in the photos) with Ahmet I camii.
In a restaurant nearby, you can serve a traditional tea or coffee and enjoy a mevlana "show". P.S. Don't clap, it's actually a prayer.

For many years I love to spend some time on this old istanbuli bazaar. Nice atmosphere of an old oriental market . It's clean, pleasant to walk, has a small museum of tiles and coffee shop with good oriental music. If it's not about the money, bcs of course prices are higher there then in other places, it's nice to buy few little nothings just of the memory. Also there is a photo booth where you can have your pictures in historical sultan clothes. For the first time in istambul, arista bazaar is a nice place to pay a visit.

Tiny version for Grand Bazar, haggle when you can, good for window shopping as well. Close to everything else which makes it very convenient.

This market is right behind the Blue Moque. You can go here easily and there’s access to get inside. Open until night everyday, theres cafes, souvenirs, also stores to buy clothes and jewelry with great price.

fun little shopping bazaar, a lot less crowded than the grand bazaar which was a breath of fresh air. A fun time, maybe not worth a trip by itself but would recommend if you’re in the area.

Nice place shops are more expensive than a grand bazaar, our hotel was near buy so it was nice to take a stroll and have a look around. Nice enough but much better choices, and prices at Grand Bazzar

The bazaar is a vibrant reflection of Turkish culture and craftsmanship, offering a diverse range of traditional products. The proximity to iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque made it a convenient stop during your tour of Sultanahmet. The shopkeepers were friendly and eager to share their knowledge. While prices can be a bit higher due to its touristy nature, the quality and authenticity of the items make it a worthwhile visit. Overall, a must-visit destination for travelers looking to immerse themselves in Turkish culture and take home unique souvenirs."

This is an open market whereas Grandbazaar is closed (under-roof). The products that are sold here are almost the same as Grandbazaar so if you prefer less crowded and smaller markets, this is where you should come.
