An authentic Turkish restaurant with great tasting food. I was in the mood for something hot and exactly what I received. First, I enjoyed a lovely bowl of warm lentil soup served with bread and a wedge of lemon. Well seasoned and perfectly warmed. Then, the veggie Kebab was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and accommodating to vegetarians. The prices are reasonable.

I’m writing this review after eating here 3 times. Here, everything is just right. Lamb adana kebab is rich in spice and juicy. Eggplant kebab is naturally sweet and served with flavourful meatballs. Wheat and rice are nicely cooked - not under, not over. Bread is perfectly chewy. Oh, and no one here pushes you to eat or drink more like other restaurants in the neighbourhood. No wonder the ratings are high and locals come to eat here. Will return for more.

Very good food! A family business - even though you can see tourists coming in, the prices are definitely for locals. We went there twice on a 5 day trip because we loved it.
The staff is very respectful and kind - we were treated very nicely.
There was no queue and the food was ready quite fast. Would definitely return! 😋

You can’t complain, the food is great. It has a very home comfort food to it. CANT explain it but overall very fresh and tasty. I will come again

One of the best places to eat near sultanahmet, family run, very polite and helpful. The pricing is great, with very good and tasty food. I'm visiting this place again on my second trip to Istanbul, and the quality hasn't dropped, from when i was last visited 5 years ago. Overall great place to visit.

Lovely affordable place to grab some soup and meat wrap - appreciate the affordable price and fresh ingredients, as well friendly service. Probably one of the few places in the area with true reviews (not fake paid ones).

Very nice staff. The young lady serving us was an absolute gem, extremely nice. They also gave us tea on the house.

As for the food, the wraps felt a bit dry - maybe some sauce or some more vegetables would be a good addition.

Extremely reasonable prices - while I can't remember exactly how much everything costs, I remember that I was surprised at how cheap everything was.

Absolutely loved this spot, we stopped by chance as it was near the picturesque Cardakli Hamami and had a couple of dogs sleeping outside, a few people quietly eating and no-one attempted to entice us inside unlike most of the other eateries. Also something about the homely aura of the place I found attractive. The food was delicious - both meat and vegetarian dishes. Generous portions too, the salad was super fresh, tasty flatbread...finished with Turkish coffee & baclava. The service was friendly and efficient. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. We suspected it maybe had a good Trip Advisor rating so I came to check. It deserves this rating wholeheartedly.

Food was great. We had the lentil soup (65 lira) and vegetarian kebabs (220). Bread was included and excellent. The most impressive part is the people that run it - they are very kind and not pushy. Would love to come back!

Best kebap in Istanbul with warm attitude and kind staff. They could give us a highchair for our baby and gave tea for gift. We've there on our first and last day :)

Very cozy and delicious cafe and food, not expensive but very tasty. Just the cars going many times over and it’s a little bit noisy but u can sit inside and enjoy the view.

The best tasting food in Istanbul. Not fancy at all but amazing taste and comfort food at its best. A hidden gem truly.. loved the lentil soup and the chicken wings. Most certainly will revisit during my next Istanbul trip 😊

Not so many choices served in this restaurant. However, the served menu taste great. The waitress is kind and helpful.

Glad we found this food joint away from the main tourist areas. We were seated quickly and food came in reasonable time. Price is much better than other restaurants in sultan Ahmet. Amazing sucuk and grilled chicken that melts on the mouth!

Amazing restaurant, the food was delicious and cheaply priced. We felt very welcomed. We had lentil soup which was great, mixed kebab and chicken wrap - both were amazing. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Spent 6 days in this area, I think this place has the most delicious foods and warm welcome out of all the 20 restaurantsi have visited. Also, affordable and reasonable pricing.

Absolutely incredible. Hidden gem in an otherwise touristy area. Owner is not pushy and locals love this place. Food speaks for itself it is simply divine. I visited 3x over a 4 day stay in Istanbul.

This place is an absolute gem. Easily our favorite restaurant during a trip to Istanbul. Starting with warm and friendly service by the owner and his wife (he’s the server and she’s the cook). The menu is simple, yet sufficient. The food was so DELICIOUS. A lot of the same dishes you will see many places, yet executed at a higher level. We had the same eggplant kabob at a high end restaurant and this was 10x better. The meat succulent, the produce fresh, and the bread delicious. We would go over and again, it was that good! And so affordable compared to other spots. 160 Lira for 3 dishes and water.
