Pure coincidence that we entered this restaurant. But it was surprisingly good, totally exceed our expectation for a fast food restaurant.
Every dish we tried tasted better than those “regular” restaurants we had for last two days.
All the meat were apparently carefully treated beforehand and very well cooked. vegetables and roasts were also great, multiple layers of flavors gave a very rich taste.
Above all, price was very friendly considering its location, and the interior decoration of wooden tune made it perfectly cozy. No wonder so many people were queuing up

We ate here 3 of the 9 nights in Istanbul. The food is delicious and the chef takes great pride in the dishes. Two nights we ordered food to go and ate it later at home. Everything is fresh and some of the dishes sell out before they close. I recommend the stuffed eggplant. The prices are very reasonable.

A must-try for both locals and tourists, even though it's overlooking the main street; prices and food quality are much much better than its competitors. A true, traditional 'esnaf lokantası' where true locals feast on the food they enjoy. Great variety of dishes, better than anything touristy that you'll eat near İstiklal to be honest. Don't hesitate!

Good place if you are tired of fast-food kebab and expensive restaurants. This is a low-mid budget cafe (buffet) where all food is presented to you behind the counter.

Although most places like that are dirty and not very friendly looking, this one is exceptional. There were at least 4 staff presented on site, so the tables were being clean relatively quickly.
