The soup is to die for. Excellent food and service. Priced very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Would highly recommend this local spot. Not very Americanized which is good, you want the local taste!

Hands down the best kelle paça I’ve ever had. The chef must have a special recipe because it’s the first time I’ve seen it prepared this way. The soup was exquisite with a perfect seasoning. It was 4 am I guess but I could definitely have gone for a second round as an early breakfast. Definitely a must try when touring the fast food spots in Istanbul !

Kimyon is great. Service is good (5 people said welcome before we got to our seats), and the food was very fresh and tasty.

We ordered the mercimek lentil soup, baked kimyon kebabs, a salad, a wrap, and a lamb shin soup. Everything was delicious and we paid around 400 TL for everything. It was pricier but we ordered a lot of food too.

On a snowy day the soups were amazing. Their Ayran was super fresh and we saw the machine churning up the yogurt drink.

Always come here for a lentil soup and ayran. Any Turkish food cooked here is good quality and taste. Waiters very friendly. Recommend to take your foreigner friends here. And prices are very good too

It a lovely alcohol free place with a really great service. Food is delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Portions are huge. 👍

Excellent Turkish cuisine, more than perfect service and staff (it's one of the rare places where all the stuff is interested in seeing you again - and this didn't depend on leaving or not the tips). Meat & cheese pide, köfte portion, mercimek soup and beyran soup are my favourites. Also working hours sometime is just lifesaving! Again: it is rare, but I always spend money here with a pleasure.

Do not drink cold soup serve with bread. It is garlic sauce....lol... main soup was really good. I didnt expect this flavor from turkish food. Put every veggies into that soup and try it!

Whether the mouth-watering tripe soup with fresh tangy rocket and lemon or the rich lamb kebab on eggplant puree this place serves up delicious food. At the end the boss will offer tea on the house. A typical old-fashioned Turkish mixed grill restaurant.

Scrumptious food! Strongly recommend their chicken soup and lahmacun. The service and the prices are good as well.

I think this has become my favorite place. The meals here are so good and the service is also good. Their lamb is the tastiest thing ever. I also love it mixed with the yogurt and with veggies. I can always trust this place to provide me with the best meal ever and good service.

I had Beyran soup and lamb shish and it was tasty (the shish portion wasn't big though)
Service was excellent especially Kenan who recommended the soup and made sure I was feeling comfortable

Loved the beyran. The staff were friendly and helpful. A good experience and a strong recommendation from me. I didn't like the kelepaca tbh, but I don't like it the Turkish way in general.

There’s a few meals and places that stick out in the area and this place is one. Great service. They helped with recommendations and it was delicious.

Average cost per person is probably 200-400 lira.

We just returned yesterday from İstanbul after two lovely weeks of staying in Kadıköy, and we were lucky we found that restaurant with all its delicious food next to our Airbnb apartment,

before we found it we tried a lot of restaurants in Kadıköy, but this one was the best in almost everything, so we had lunch/ dinner almost every day there, it never disappointed us 👍🏻, and all the staff was nice & helpful, and every-time they offer us a Turkish tea at the end of our meal as an Ikram (free treat).
I think they even may remember me when they read this comment as I was just there every day 😄.
