Moda Aile Çay Bahçesi

My favorite place in sunset in Moda. View of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque is unbeatable. Staff is very nice too. Occasionally a cat might honor you by choosing you as their sleeping spot as well.

Magnificent sea view. Make it a part of the weekend walk. They mainly serve only tea and coffee so it is allowed to bring your own snacks.

After a long walk along the coast, we went up the stairs to find this çay bahçe overlooking the Bosporus. We came at a quiet time so plenty of space to sit. Service was quick and helpful. Don't expect they will speak much English, but even with a few Turkish words and gestures all is well. Prizes are very cheap. This was the best tea garden we've been to.

Great place, wonderful view over Sea of Marmara, quiet, no traffic.

But the ongoing inflation makes the price of one glass of tea a whopping 25 TL.

You can't skip this lovely place .... Turkish tea or coffee! It's simple, greenery area and above all, superb view.

Great location, good tea. Not much more you can ask for from a tea garden

This tea garden is beguilingly simple and if you don't speak Turkish you may get some quizzical stares but the view is to die for and it's the easiest place to stop. Just like on the ferry somebody comes by with hot tea and you enjoy its simple brewed elegance, dropping in the sugar cubes with indifference if at all. Turkish social ritual plain and simple. Perfect for people watching.

They only serve beverages. You can bring your own food/snacks from outside.

Nice place to take a breath with your family. But I guess there is nothing in the menu but tea. Garden for drink to tea at all :))

Nothing change in this place since last 65 years. It's nice to see a place which stands same. My grandparents takes my mum out here. And I listened their stories about elegant people of their times. And I hope my kids would have change to tell their stories too... you could still have nice Turkish tea and enjoy the old city view.

I went there monday at noon for tea and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All together we had 4 teas and stayed for about an hour and we paid 24 tl. Overall I had a great time, there was a great breeze on a hot day and great views of the bosphorus.

My favourite place to enjoy a coffee or tea in Kadıköy in the sunset. Beautiful view and very relaxing. Especially charming in spring when acacia trees are blooming! 😻😻😻
