Hands down one of the best desserts i have ever ate. A must try if you come here. On the downside the waiters don't speak english but they are very friendly and try to help.

A must visit if you are in town. Best in Kadikoy if you're looking for deserts. Established in 1920s, Baylan is the gem of Kadikoy. You can't go wrong with Coup grillée ♡♡

Nice place for some great desserts.
I really liked their speciality Kup Griye.
Vanilla ice cream with crunchy hazelnut bits topped with velvety almond syrup and whipped cream. The richness of the whipped cream is wanderlust and is topped with pistachio powder. It is a beauty to look at.
The tiramisu was alright but it wasn’t the show stopper.
The cold coffee or iced latte is also silky and smooth.
The staff are super amiable and this is definitely a go to place for me and I recommend it to everyone.

Coup grillée is such a great and patented dessert. The other two chocolate gateaux are overwhelming pleasurable taste and peche Melba rarely found in Turkey

One of the exceptionally corky, historic and delicious spots in Kadıköy side of İstanbul. The front of the place can be described as unassuming yet don't let that fool you. Walk in and walk pass by the glass displays on both sides and you will find yourself at the lovely garden. Don't hesitate and order the house specialty!! It will be a delicious İstanbul experience. They also serve delicious Turkish Tea "Cay" and Turkish Coffee which again are must haves.

This place is great. Went after lunch at ciya around 1pm on a weekday and it wasn’t packed at all. Got the kup griye which was phenomenal. Never had anything like it and highly recommend getting it. It’s a ice cream sundae type of situation and is very decadent. Would definitely come back

It’s my favorite patisserie/cafe in Istanbul. Here’s famous for kup griye and it’s really best but you should try truffle cake and mont blanc. I’ve also tried profiteroles and millefeuille but they weren’t great. Still 5 star for their other high quality desserts and historic atmosphere.

So far I like the atmosphere and service. For patisserie I need to try it other stuffs so I can come back and write the review again. As for today I had a chocolate millefeuille and tea. I like the taste and the colour of tea. For millefeuille I love the richness of chocolate. I would come here again!

Loads of sweet stuff to choose from, and also delicious coffee. The kup griye, although really sweet, is the one thing I always go for if I'm in Kadikoy!

I just realized that upon many visits spanning 20+ years I only ordered Coupe Griye.

Smaller Caffe than Bebek Baylan, but most of the day, it is quiet even on Saturdays. And thhe best handcrafted chocolates I've ever eaten.

Kup griye is delicious and different in a good way. No other dessert place has it. Profiterol is better than most other places, including inci. Chocolate eclair is very nice. Nice, naturally shaded and heated for winter patio at the back. Would certainly come here again.

One of the oldest pastry shops in Istanbul dating back to 1923! Celebrating their 100th year! Nowadays they have a few branches but this is the original..
Been going there since I was a child, such a nostalgic moment for me! It's like traveling back in time, little has changed..
Obviously the Cup Griye is an all time favorite, but don't miss out on the Chestnut Mouse, Chocolate Mouse, Marquise..
And of course the chocolates.. They have many liquor filled chocolates to choose from, the Gin Truffles are delicious.

Near to French pâtisserie 🥮 I love it

Simply the best pattiserie in Istanbul. Great vibes reminiscent of ottoman era Istanbul. Amazing coffee and desserts. A must go in kadıköy
