Liberation restaurant

Really fantastic experience for us as tourists. Luckily my partner speaks French so we could understand the menu, but our wonderful waiter took us into the kitchen to show us all the dishes of the day so we can clearly understand what we would get. Good food, great experience... But it was really 10 stars to our warm friendly waiter.
We was with our 1.5 year old son .. who ate chips and omelette..

We took advantage of a day-trip to Hammamet to have lunch at Ettahrir, as a result of the raving reviews we had read.
Our expectations were not disappointed: the place is rather basic, but thick with a local clientele and bustling with staff that never seem to stop for a breath of air.
The food is well-prepared and portions are generous. The staff is very attentive and polite. It was a pleasure to have lunch there.

Very happy about this place. It was our first meal in Tunisia and we were very surprised by the quantity (and quality) of complimentary starters. It wasn't our best meal in Tunisia, to be honest, but everything was fresh and really tasty. We enjoyed variety of dishes we received and service was friendly and fast. We paid around 17 eu for two people.

This was recommended by the place we’re staying as a good local spot for dinner. It was fabulous- we had grilled squid and fish - which came with several side dishes, salad, beans, barley etc…even had an non alcoholic beer …great friendly helpful service. We’ve been traveling a month and this is our best meal so far

Delicious vegetarian baguette sandwich made on request. And quick delivery to our hotel nearby! Highly recommend!

The Food is so delicious and the plates are full with affordable prices! Great service. I loved the staff, they were kind and professional. And i hope you keep on this attitude.

Fish are fresh, but the calamari are above and beyond from the sauce to freshness it's just crazy good.

The best food i had in Tunisia. Home made cooked meals , fishes but also barbecue (meat - grille). But I recommend the cooked meals ( i prefer them ) . Delicious and cheap. The place is filled with locals (another good sign) you will not find the typical cous cous with agneau like a tourist. Just go and try as many as you can

Food is very good and service to match. Worth the effort of walking a little from the beach. Walk gives a great view of ordinary town life.

We stayed in Tunissia for 10 days and this is by far the best restaurant we've been in. Food was delicious (even the salads), and the waiter was super friendly.

Amazing food and service. We had ouja, fish couscous and Kamboujia ( if I am right) and mixed grill. I don't like liver so did not like Kamboujia ( liver and lamb) but the rest were amazing. Also they brought different sort of appetisers before the main all yummy. We paid around 30 USD for 4 people and we could not finish the food. Note.They don't serve alcohol here. Highly recommend this place.
