Booked an all inclusive holiday in May half term with TUI at this hotel and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. After reading mixed reviews about it, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was all great! Never the same food, every day something different and delicious with plenty of varieties for even the most pickiest eater. Loads of things to do at the resort and the animation team was amazing! The rooms clean and spacious( we stayed in Manar2) and the staff are truly amazing! Not enough words of praise! 100% recommend.

We stayed at the Manar Hotel for a week at the end of September and loved our time there. The staff were super friendly and kind, the hotel itself was big and spotlessly clean and the facilities were very impressive. 7 water slides, 3 good sized outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, right on the beach, tennis courts, a sports bar a gym, a football pitch, archery, etc. We never had to look for a sunbed or wait for a water slide. The bar and restaurant was always well staffed so always got seen to very quickly by the very nice staff. The view from the balcony was incredible. Palm trees and sea everywhere we looked.

The location is about 15 minutes taxi ride to Hammamet and 15 minutes the other way to Nabeul. We were blown away by how good the hotel was. The only point of improvement I would say is that the quality of the food could be improved. There was a good selection and the pastries and deserts were always really good but they maybe could improve on the quality of some of the meat dishes as the meat often tasted quite tough or fatty. That was quite minor in the grand scheme of things and I would definitely go back here again.

The hotel is located by the sea. The attractions offered at the hotel met the needs of all family members. Service nice, friendly, not imposing, provided attractions for everyone. Day and night security was watched over by lifeguards and bodyguards. The food was excellent, varied. The service in the restaurants and bars was very polite and served with great respect. The cleaning service in the rooms took care of cleanliness every day - even changing the sheets every day - which was a big surprise for me. I would be happy to go there again.

Me and my wife (Both 50 something) went for a single week all inclusive at the Magic Manar hotel in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Good points,
Transfer was ok, if not slightly longer than thought, the last hotel in a batch of six. But looking at the previous hotels ours looked better. Electric gates at the entrance to keep out the none residents.
Checking in was very easy, however we did have a for to fill out and was escorted to some sofa,s in reception and given an orange juice drink whilst we filled out the form. Took it back to reception and was asked to pay our resort fee. This was £15 English so not too bad either. Got taken to our room on the 4th floor in the main block. No separate bedrooms in these suites but nice enough. Rooms had kettle tea and coffee making facilities, electronic safety deposit box, nice wide balcony, electric air con and two single beds pushed together. Great view from the 4th floor of the other block, the activity pool and the slide pool. A little bit of noise throughout the day but to be expected at a hotel with kids holidays in mind.
Food hall was huge, and often quite busy. Once you got your food and asked your waiter for your drinks and sat down its not too bad. There is an abundance of food for every taste from meat eaters, pasta lovers, vegetarians, salad lovers and everything in between……note……leave room for pudding…..again plenty of this too, my eyes bigger than my belly some evenings. Our waiter (who’s name I have forgotten) saved us a table every night in a similar area so we left him a little something on our last day.
The pools….there are at least four main pools at this complex as well as some small individual pools for the people that had book the ground floor family suite rooms. The main activity pool has the big sound system right next to it so they play all the music and games in that one, it has a swim up bar attached and also attached to a kiddy,s shallow pool. There is a small pool on the back of the slide building and a catch pool at the bottom of all the slides……yes I was tempted….but I,m 59 so maybe not. Then there is the quiet pool…as it says it was beautiful, peaceful and quiet, mainly due to the lifeguard that looks after this one and exceptionally nice bloke called Momo…(who celebrated his 64th birthday the week we were there). A true gentleman, went to speak to anyone who made a noise and respectfully ask them to be quiet. Took a few photos with him, he is a star of this hotel for his effort.
The beach, again absolutely beautiful, with sunbeds that are free if you are a resident and a bar at the rear of the beach again free if you are on the all inclusive package. There was a single camel on the beach and a couple of horses should you fancy a ride along the sand. Plenty of water sports available from jet ski,s to paragliding to inflatable sofa,s behind speedboats. A couple of beach sales people wandering but not too pushy so ok.
The entertainment, to us this was a little poor, the general fun and games for the kids between 7.30 and 9.00 and then the adult entertainment. Not a high standard so back to the bar some nights for a drink and a natter. They had a beach party one evening and I think they took the same CD from the amphitheatre to the beach that night.
Bad point,
The entertainment not the best. Also the lack of bar staff at the amphitheatre bar, one time one young guy really busy with customers and an older guy just faffing about behind him even though there was eight customers deep at the bar. The lobby bar was staffed ok just the outside amphitheatre bar.
Generally, did not expect as much as we got here, the all inclusive option was over and above what we have had at other hotels, we paid for next to nothing.
We loved this place and would go back again for another holiday, and we would recommend it to our friends and family.

Great hotel. Incredible staff (seriously good)!
Never had as good a view from the bedroom, a 180 degree sea view!
Loads of great facilities.
Loads of food choice (though don't expect a full English breakfast).
All inclusive drinks were rather limited and surprised not to get cocktails at the pool bars but didn't really make much difference to us.

Firstly! Lovely place......you won't regret it........BUT do not believe your TUI rep. It is NOT 40 mins transfer. Closer to 2 hours and 9th stop for us. I urge you to book a private taxi £40. You'll get to the hotel sooner and be calmer 😀

The hotel is lovely. Food a little repetitive but it's all inclusive so I should have expected that. Staff are amazing, especially Mohammed in the 'quiet' pool!! He is fastidious I'm patrolling the pool to keep the rifraf out. Very tranquil.

There is a sports bar.....it says pay bar.....but the only thing we had to pay for was cocktails and branded alcohol.

There isn't much to do locally. You'll need a 30min taxi to market's etc.

We need had to queue for a Sun bed. Coming out after breakfast (10am) and loads spare at beach and around the pools.

Free bottles of cold water on request. Nice Sandwich bar ( panini style ).

5* and would come back

Best holiday EVER!
The staff, team, entertainers, and management go above and beyond to ensure you’re having fun, and do their very best for you. The rooms are clean with great views of the pools and the beach. The beach is right beside the hotel. There are plenty of activities to do. The food is plentiful with a decent variety and the cakes are lush. The BIELBY’s are already looking to book here again for next year.

Went as a family with my brother and his 2 boys aged 8 and 12...their first AI experience and they said " it was the BEST holiday EVER!!".
Lazaa in the main restaurant couldn't be any more attentive and professional and MoMo at the adults pool, again was fantastic! 25 years he has been at the hotel with his son working there too.
A great family holiday where adults can escape a bit as you know the kids are being well looked after in the entertainment pool, slides and high ropes.
Beach and foam party were great, (but watch out for the jellyfish!)
Spa could do with a bit of supervision and indoor pool area and hot tubs, being 'hot'!
Added bonus we got to see Ons Jabeur training on one of the tennis courts!
Highly recommend any family visiting this place😁

Wow! Had a good stay, the animation team are amazing. Everyone in the hotel went above and beyond for us.

Food did get boring after a few days, they do change some dishes daily but the basic dishes are the same.

I would definitely stay again with these guys!

Wow. We flew with Tui Inc transfer, was met by the entertainment team dancing and were given complimentary drinks and cake on arrival. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The bar staff, waiter, spa staff, entertainers etc were all amazing and couldn't do more for you. The evening entertainment was a kids disco every night and then something for everyone (Miss Hotel Competition, Women Vs. Men, Beach party etc). The food was great also, each night they did something different (sushi, steak, turkey etc). The beach was clean, welcoming and fun also.
Amazing hotel, staff & stay. Thank you for making it so memorable for us.
