Orchidilla Residence

Such a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable little resort. Owners Dirk and Ohm are amazing hosts--friendly, attentive, informative. I had been expecting just a room, but was amazed to have a wonderful and fully equipped one bedroom apartment. I can not recommend Orchidilla enough. It was completely beyond my expectations and a veritable slice of heaven in Phuket. It's not far from the airport and yet it's located in such a quiet, peaceful little beach community. You would never know the airport is close by.

Absolute gem! Boutique resort close to everything. Everything is accomadated for. Owner Dirk is very chatty and informative so if you need any information don't hesitate to ask him 😊.
Very clean, friendly and well maintained property. Pool is excellent for a relaxation and quick dip to escape the heat.
If you're looking for the ultimate place to relax in peace with no pretentious this is your place!! Also very reasonable price! Very highly recommend!!

I recently stayed here for 4 days.
From the beginning to end it was a very comfortable and relaxed place to spend a few days, the owner Dirk and his wife were very welcoming and nothing was to much for them.
The resort itself is a hidden gem, the bungalows have a bedroom a large bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen and some of the bungalows have a small private garden at the back with sun loungers and a table and chairs to sit and relax, they also have a table and chairs at the front balcony as you enter.
There is a beautiful garden at the back with a private pool and an area to sit and relax .
The resort itself is about 100m from the main road so there is no noise at all, and its about a 10 minute walk from the beach.
There are plenty of small shops and restaurants close by that cater for most tastes and are all walking distance.
The Airport is about a 15 min drive.
I would stay here again, if your looking for a relaxed and quiet place to stay i highly recommend this place.

The host and his wife, Dirk and Ohm, are amazing! We had to change the dates of our stay because of problems with the paperwork to get into Thailand during Covid 19. Dirk worked with us and our booking company to get things switched over. He was easy to communicate with and always quick to respond.
If you want a quiet place to relax and unwind, this is it. They are just off the main road so no traffic noise. There is a great pool area with sun chairs and garden area with a gazebo where we had breakfast. It was a nice sized unit and very spacious inside. We purchased the breakfast option with our room, what a deal! They let you choose which breakfast you want and the choices were amazing, banana pancakes, omelettes, eggs Benedict, etc. I think there were about 6-7 choices and they were all served with an incredible selection of fruit, juice and coffee or tea. They were always checking for feedback to make things even better.
We like to walk and loved the area. We walked a loop down to the beach, past the fancy hotels and the monastery and along by the SuperCheap and 7-11 grocery stores.
We didn’t have a car, but Dirk and Ohm were quick to set up rides with the local tuktuk or taxi if needed. There were many restaurants in the area and we were given all the information to make the choices. We also signed up for a couple of excursions where they pick you up and take you for snorkeling and then drop you off after. We did snorkeling in the Similan Islands and wanted to do the sea caves, but ran out of time.

Nice hideaway. Very suitable for those who wants to relax and take your time exploring Phuket. The Mai Khao beach is nearby in walking distance, not crowded at all, as if having a private beach for your own. There's also Seven Eleven nearby.
The residence is spacious, with a very nice private garden (we can also sun bathing), with a pool and communal garden. Very clean and neat. Toaster, water heater, and cooker are provided.
The owner also very communicative and informative. Feel free to contact for any help or advice.
Totally recommended, it's also very suitable for a long term stay.

Me and my fiancé recently stayed 1 week at Orchidilla. Normally it was our first SHA+ hotel but at the airport because of antigen test, airport security didn't let us and we had to go to quarantine hotel. From this point owner of the hotel Dirk was so helpful and thoughtful. Everyday he asked our situation, after we complete quarantine we were able to go Orchidilla and we were happy as we came home. We stayed in house with private garden and that garden is a huuuuge plus! You can get tanning privately and it's a privilege that you can't find easily. His CEO Ohm is the kindest person I've ever met. She gave us coconut cookies in the New Year Day and we are still remembering that perfect taste... Also I should say thanks to the cleaning lady because she is doing an amazing job. Mai Khao is a quite place that mostly locals stays, far from city center, bars but that was the exactly thing we wanted. Peace, few people, lots of animals :) If you are searching the same things, you should definetely give a try! Don't forget to chat with Dirk, he has awesome stories!

Very wonderful place for Thai holidays! Dirk and Ohm are friendly and always ready to help! Also I d like to mention Tip - the cleaning lady, she cleaned so good, everything was shining after her! I highly recommend Orchidilla residence to all who want comfortable houses at very attractive prices! We liked it very much and of course will come back here!

Brilliant, relaxing and tranquil bungalows in an ideal part of Phuket. This is far from the tourist trap and is close to paradise in the form of Mai Khao beach. The owners of this residence are unbelievably helpful, genuine and professional. They will solve any problems you have and go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing time there. The bungalows and clean and well catered.

The nicest, quietest, cleanest, most wonderful place in Thailand. Well done to owner who has keen to keep it that way. There are signs to remind people of noise, anytime. To keep it safe and quiet. Loved it.

Awesome place to relax after patong and the owners Ohm&Dirk are really nice people and can tell you everything about the places in the area
Only critical point was the missing flexibility for checkout but he informed us directly at checkin about that.
Breakfast was awesome as well!

Wir wurden von Dirk sehr herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer war wahnsinnig geräumig und sauber! Mein Partner und ich haben auch von Ohm sehr viel Unterstützung erhalten für unsere Belange und sind ihr sehr sehr dankbar. Der Pool in einer ruhigen Lage war für uns perfekt zum Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Очень рекомендую этот отель! Чистота в номерах, очень дружелюбный персонал, территория ухоженная, все очень красиво, пальмы вокруг, зелень, удобные лежаки, отличный бассейн с чистой водой! Wunderbar, sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben diese schöne, weit vom Massentourismus, ruhig gelegene Unterkunft (Appartement mit dem Garten) für ca. 2 Wochen im Januar 2023 gebucht und haben absolut richtige Wahl getroffen! Dirk und seine Frau Ohm sind großartige, freundliche, kommunikative und immer hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Uns fehlte an nichts! Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Appartement ist sehr sauber und geräumig, mit allen nötigen Sachen ausgestattet, die man im Leben benötigt. Die gesamte Anlage mit dem Gemeinschaftspool und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Zur Ausstattung der Terrasse gehören ein Tisch, zwei Stühle und zwei Liegen, auf denen man sich entspannen kann. Dirk und Ohm wohnen in derselben Anlage und sind immer da, wenn man etwas braucht. Falls Sie die Hilfestellung bzw. Empfehlung bei Ausflügen oder Aktivitäten benötigen, Dirk hilft Ihnen immer!

Was auch sehr empfehlenswert und vorteilhaft ist, ist die Bike- und Auto-Vermietung in Mai Khao oder in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Wir haben selbstverständlich diese Möglichkeit genutzt und für eine Woche das Bike und danach ein Auto gemietet, um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden. Die Anlage verfügt übrigens über Stellplätze, die man kostenlos nutzen kann.

Der schöne, lange und sehr saubere Strand ist auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar (ca. 15 Minuten). Mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bike nur ca. 5 Minuten.

Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch in der Nähe.

Für uns war diese schöne Unterkunft ein absoluter Volltreffer!!! Jederzeit gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, Dirk und Ohm!!!

Il residence si trova a nord dell'aeroporto, nella zona più tranquilla dell'isola a poche centinaia di metri dalla spiaggia di Mai Khao Beach, e comodo alle escursioni al parco di Ao phang-nga bay e in generale alle escursioni a nord dell'isola.
È gestito da una coppia composta da Dirk, simpaticissimo e precisissimo tedesco e da sua moglie thailandese sempre gentile e disponibile a organizzare le vostre escursioni.
Gli appartamenti sono perfetti e puliti, lo spazio è abbondante in tutti i locali, con specifico riferimento al bagno. Nella stanza potrete trovare un paio di quaderni fatti da Dirk con tutte le informazioni principali per non farti spennare e per organizzarti nella tua permanenza sull'isola.
Abbiamo inoltre prenotato tramite loro un'escursione privata in barca in puro stile thai ad un costo inferiore rispetto alle proposte dei vari tour turistici.
Consigliatissimo!!

공항에서 가깝다 하지만 조용하고 한적하다.조용히 쉬면서 휴가를 보내실 분들만 가라..작지만 깨끗한 풀장,작은 정원도좋다.호스트는 매우 친절하며 호텔은 깨끗하다.단점은 해변과 거리는 가깝지만 돌아가야 하기 때문에 멀게 느껴진다.다시 말하지만..조용하고 평안한 휴가를 즐기는 사람들에게 추천한다..시끄러운 사람들은 오지 말기 바란다.그 들도 바라지 않을거다
