Marriott's Phuket Beach Club

Our go to property for a vacation in Phuket. Just about 15-20 minutes from the airport. We pick up our vehicle at the airport and drive in. We have been returning here for many years and our children can probably walk around blindfolded. From the well managed kids club to the restaurants, there is nothing to complain about. As always the meet and greet is spot on and we end up coming in early due to flights. The lobby area is huge and spacious and open and we have always found a spot to chill out at while waiting for our rooms. The staff make a huge effort to get us our rooms for an early check in. The children usually push off to use one of the many pools on site. The Vacation Club apartments are huge and fabulously appointed. The property is on the beach and sunset is always stunning. We usually hang out at the pool bar or go for long walks on the beach followed by both in house as well as beachside massages (by local folks). The gym is conveniently located with all the equipment you could wish for and a sauna/plunge pool and more. The hotel has various shuttle options into town but we prefer to drive ourselves around. A better feel of the area! We are so spoilt here and use this as the benchmark whenever we visit other MVC properties around the world.

Beautiful vacation club 2 bed villa, pools are wonderful, beach and sunset views are incredible. Loved the turtle sanctuary and fire show, lots of activities to keep you busy if you like. Excellent service with amazing cleaning staff, the guys looking after us at the main pool and bar staff like Jord.

Thsese reviews are so true. First we were worried about weather. The forecasts were all rain but we’ve hardly had any. Second this place is quiet and secluded and lush. Beautiful pools incredible service and wonderful concierge Oy among others. Rooms are great, water and coffee and laundry detergent all supplied. Supermarket a walk away. The hotel and vacation club are fully integrated but very low key if you stay away from the convention center in back. We ate at Gin Ja on property which was excellent but a few nice nearby restaurants if you don’t want to pay NYC prices for dinner. Just remember you are 1-11/2 hours from Phuket Old Town and Big Budda and Patong Beach. The traffic on the island is horrendous much of the time. This is the nicest vacation club I’ve been to.

A peaceful environment and attentive service. Enjoyed the stay. Happy hour varies with the different bars. Enjoy the one at the pool that starts at 4-5pm, followed by another 6-7pm and then 9-10pm!!!!

Lovely place for a family vacation. Long beach stretch. Suggest renting a car if you don't want to be eating exclusively at the resorts.

Mai Khao Beach is a bit far from anywhere else, so don't stay here if you want to spend a lot of time in Phuket town or Patong beach area.

There was a problem with my room caused by the previous guest. However, the Duty Manager (Ploy) was so helpful and she managed to resolved the problem so efficiently. The Director of Room Operations(Vincent van Agteren), was there in person to meet me and listen to the problem faced by me. I am so delighted that he took time to listen and understand my issue. His leadership is exemplary. Marriot Group should be proud of these 2 employees.

I would like to make a complain to Marriott's Phuket Beach Club. I stayed at their 2-bedroom apartment with my wife and 2 children. Their accomodation is just way too breath-takingly beautiful! And all their employees - the front office, concierge, housekeeping, the medical officer and vacation club staff, are all just outstanding. They have set the standard so high that I will not be able to enjoy staying anywhere else! I met a British couple who said they've stayed at various Marriott Vacation Club units around the world, but none could compare with Marriott's Phuket Beach Club. Based on our own personal experience, I have no reason to doubt their assessment.

Gosh, where else can I go for a holiday now that I've just experienced Marriott's Phuket Beach Club?

This property is quite nice, with an excellent Thai restaurant on site, in addition to many others. It is attached to the JW Marriott which it shares the grounds with. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for a week using an Interval trade, which is a good value. The beach is one of the better in Thailand, and the grounds have that Hawaii resort feel. Only drawback is you are very far away from Phuket’s main attractions and popular beach areas. A car isn’t necessary, but we were happy we had one so we could explore the island. If your Bonvoy platinum or above just know the breakfast isn’t going to be free since it is a Marriott timeshare property. The best side for couples is the far north end, which is quiet and has an expansive adults only pool with attentive bar staff. This is one of the only interval trades I’d actually return too, and would consider staying for a few weeks to a month. There is a higher end outdoor mall nearby with some OK restaurants, and a small grocery store.

Brilliant location ... clean, food great and most of all the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love this resort and highly recommend it.

My week-long stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club, located in the Thalang District of Phuket, Thailand, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was engulfed in the warm embrace of Thai hospitality and the resort's serene ambiance.

The location itself, nestled along the pristine Mai Khao Beach, was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and the sight of the turquoise Andaman Sea was a dream come true. The beachfront access was super convenient, and the sunsets were incredible too.

The resort's accommodation was both luxurious and comfortable. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and provided all the amenities you need. The attention to detail in room maintenance was evident, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff who ensured my space was kept spotless.

The Marriott Phuket Beach Club boasts an impressive array of dining options. Whether it was savoring authentic Thai cuisine, international fare, or fresh seafood by the beach, every meal was a gastronomic delight. The breakfast buffet was particularly outstanding, offering a wide range of options to cater to various tastes.

The resort staff were always eager to assist with any request and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

The well-maintained facilities, including the lush gardens, inviting pools, and the on-site spa, added to the overall appeal of the property. Activities and excursions organized by the resort allowed me to explore the beauty of Phuket.

In conclusion, my stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club was a wonderful experience. It combined the natural beauty of Mai Khao Beach with the comforts and amenities of a world-class resort. If you're seeking a luxurious and tranquil getaway in Phuket, this resort is an absolute gem.

The rooms was fabulous very spacious and clean. My kids love it !!! For those loves beaches may love it the beaches was clean n beautiful!

We arrived after noon and were immediately greeted with ice cold delicious tea and such hospitality… and an amazing view! This resort was very clean, well organized, and had all the amenities we needed to truly relax. It was an easy hop from the resort to the local market plazas and to other restaurants nearby. The concierge, Samarn, was an amazing asset to have in our side helping with coordinating tours, excursions, and experiences. What an amazing stay!

Oh wow!! What a beautiful, magical resort. Lush planting to create peace and privacy. Lots of grounds to walk around. The self-catering accommodation is so spacious and comfortable with all amenities including free bottled water by the crate if you need it. The room service team were lovely and the pool guys were incredible! Constantly topping us up with free iced water and free ice pops for everyone. Meals can be ordered and served poolside. We would go back in a heartbeat. The only small negatives are the lack of shade over the water in the baby pool and the sea being too rough to swim in. Also no sun loungers on the beach because it's a nature reserve. We had little children so the lack of beach was not an issue. The restaurants beside the resort were very good and more than half the price of the resort restaurants but my Chateau Briand at Andaman restaurant was beautiful.

Oy is the best concierge I have ever met and she made our trip perfect. Really everyone who works at the resort is great at their job and goes above and beyond. The resort is beautiful and has lots to do for the whole family. Comfortable clean modern rooms. Great restaurants. Beautiful landscaping. We stayed on the resort for almost two weeks and didn't get bored relaxing. The prices are low for US, average for EU and high for Thailand. But it's worth it because to receive this level of excellence elsewhere you would pay way more.

I like Marriot vacation club a lot. Next time I hope we can come back again. l like the kids club and the guest rooms very much. They also have art and crafts in the kids club. Great place.

One of the best Marriott Hotels that I have stayed in. If you are looking for a quiet location to wind down, this is your spot. The staff are so friendly and the service is top notch. Our room was excellent and cleaned and serviced daily. It's located close to the beach 300m, with a buggy service that drops you down from reception. There is a small shopping centre about 2 mins walk away which has a bar, 7-11, coffee shop and pizzeria. There is a JW Marriott next door which is busier and you can use some of those facilities. Overall 5 star from me. Excellent 👌

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a Marriott, so everything is overpriced here. The food isn't great, if you want good Thai go off property to some local places. The front desk staff speak English well, the rest of the staff not so much.

Second time we've stayed at this resort. The beach club premise is very clean and the staff are meticulous.

We paid extra US$100+ for the private pool. A very cozy vacation home except for the fact that there are very few good food options nearby. Apart from that, it is a very homey stay for 5D4N.

Good facilities, Marriott standards. Beach front property. Huge swimming pools. Many fun activities. Kids day care available. Huge property with many rooms, so naturally quite crowded. But the stay was fun nevertheless. The location is near the airport but far from the city, so for sight seeing trips ,it's a minimum of 1 hour journey upwards and down.

The staffs there made my stay truly a memorable experience. Special should out to staffs lily, cartoon, oil, adif. Genuine people who gave service with huge smiles. Lovely people.
The room is huge and well maintained. Will like to visit Phuket marriotts again.
