Amporn Department Store

Not a big shopping center. It has generous discounts. Toilets are clean. Shoppers will feel congested. Need a good navigator to come here. The roads are narrow but has a good mix of shops along the way offering all kinds of items. Will be good experience to explore. Traffic is light. There are TUTU cabs plying about. Getting around should be easy. Feels like a sleeper town. But there are hordes of visitors to the ancient pagodas that towers in the skyline.

Love this small department store as it regularly has items on sale. The prices of stuff here are relatively cheaper too!

Local department store in Ayutthaya where you can go shopping. Supermarket is available with a pretty cheap price. Famous store for the people who live in Ayutthaya. There is also Amazon Coffee here and other shops.

アユタヤを代表する老舗デパートであり、元々はフゥアロー・マーケット近くの3階建ての長屋で細々と営業してきたものの、95年に現在のチャオプロム市場向かいの本店舗に移転。3階建ての総合デパートの体を為しており、スーパーマーケットのほか全国規模のテナントも数多く入っている。最上階には映画館があったが、現在は閉鎖されている様子。特筆すべきは館内の2階・3階とを行き交うエスカレーターが立体交差している構造で他所では見られない一風変わった趣向である。全国規模のデパートやショッピングセンターの出店攻勢がアユタヤでも盛んなのだが、当デパートが地盤とする旧市街エリアの商圏では今なお一定の存在感を維持している点は称賛に値する。
