Neat place to visit! Very historic! There is a bathroom that’s easy to access. Free to Thai people and cheap for foreigners. There is a gift shop also! Neat place!

Always a good visit if you are in Ayudhya. The historical landmark will never bore you. If possible get a local guide for more knowledge. Advise to go there early.

This template has belonged to the heart of Ayuddhaya in the past 250 years. The architecture is wonderful and unique. The guest must be visite here, strongly recommend.

This temple is a treasured temple of Ayutthaya Province. There is Phra Chedi Chai Mongkol, Ubosot, Vihara of the Reclining Buddha, and the Royal Monument of King Naresuan the Great. This temple is a large temple. Many people came to pay homage. Anyone who comes here must stop by to pay respects for good fortune.

Nicely upkept 500 year old temple .. Entrance is free for locals and only 20 or 30b for foreigners. Not too crowded, peaceful temple and very beautiful during sunset. Car park is ample.

I would mark Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon as a must-go destination of Ayutthaya. Did not know too much about the temple, but anyway all the literatures can be found online. What you should do is take a look at those great heritages. This temple is relatively well-mantianced compared with other temples here in Ayutthaya.
Entrance fee for foreigner is 20 baht, free motor parking, spending at least 1 hour here is absolutely worthy.

After climbing some stairs you can go inside the Chedi or Pagoda. King Naresuan the Great constructed this Chedi as the memorial for his victory over King of Burma.

Impressive site and feels calming to walk around the site and look on these constructions that are so old. Free for Thai people 20,- for foreigners. Good value!

During our visit it‘s 37 degree but it‘s calm and peaceful you won‘t feel any humid and heat because of a tree shade and a wind.

A very crowded place and full of tourist. Since the area is quite cramped, you can go around the place quickly. Again, getting a guide is highly recommended to learn about the background of the place.

Very high and nice stupa. Reclining Buddha was nice but walking up the stupa was better.

It wasn't too crowded as I went early. Don’t be lazy and take a closer look at the temple by climbing the stairs.
