Phuket Riding Club

This is a professionally run business for horse riding lessons as well as introductions to horse riding.

Owner and daughter (who manages online inquiries) are very cordial. Owner and handlers are very attentive to get first timers comfortable (note that language barrier may be a concern).

Transportation will be required to get there, and it will be a great idea to buy some carrots (to feed the horses) as you can go mingle with them at the stables.

Long jeans and socks will be appropriate for the riding experience.

Prebooked a morning session as they recommended it such that it wouldn’t be too hot. The session is 1hour, riding through the jungle, and by the beach. It’s nice to enjoy the scenery. It was a nice experience!

Decent place to get a few hours of horse riding along the beach. The owner seems like a lovely guy who really cares for his horses. The horses seem happy and well taken care of. The staffs were courteous.

We had a great experience riding along the beach alone watching sunset.

We came in a family of 4, including one four year old and an elderly. Staff were very helpful helping my son and mom up and down the horse. It’s well managed and a safe and fun activity for even small kids.
We did it at 6pm. It was an amazing experience strolling on the beach on a horse, with wonderful sea breeze and sunset view!❤

We really enjoyed our ride at the Phuket riding club. The facilities are very clean and the staff is very kind.

We go there with a three year old toddler. We prebook the place. The whole package is, we arrive the club by taxi(request the taxi to wait until we finish, taxi booked by hotel), we get on the horse at the club, we ride the horse from the club to mai Khao beach and turn around and get back to the club.

What amazes me most is the distance the horse has travelled, we booked a 1 hour session, we are riding the horses literally 1 hour, no time wasted in waiting or lecturing. Each horse is lead by one of their staff, which are all nice, and hardworking, they all walk by foot the whole time, and pick up all the waste disposed by the horses to keep the environment clean!

I really cherish this experiences, no matter the tropical conditions walking lane, the perfect sunset at mai Khao, and the hospitality of the staff make me recommend this experience to everyone.

Well managed stable. Owners are friendly and responsible. Location is very good, 3min to a quiet beach. You will be able to canter and gallop on the beach. The guide is also very nice too. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our time there!
But, since we were beginners we didn’t have a walk on the beach, it was on the side of it.
We went down only to take pics.
Staff were nice, taught us the basics of horse riding and were close by to ensure our safety.

Friendly staff, beautiful horses. We enjoyed the sunset ride so much!!

Horses are well taken care of and the owner/manager is professional and pleasant. They did a proper level check before letting the kids go riding independently. We had a lovely ride along the beach but recommended for experienced riders as we go through crowded areas next to the Anantara hotel with tourists (and animals) which can spook out the horses.

My daughter loved every minute of it. Galloping along the beach is an experience she won't forget. Staff were very helpful.
