Food: phenomenal local cuisine. From seafood to basics like shrimp cake to papaya salad. The drinks from coffee to mixed drinks were great. Prices are great. This is a very high baseline.
Service: they mainly speak Thai. There was one English speaker. Menus have English, Chinese and Russian.
Atmosphere: Quite local. No caucasians at the time of visiting - a good sign for good local food, maybe. A jungle vibe.

The immediate impression we get is the beautiful and detailed decoration at the entrance of the restaurant. Nice blend of natural plants, antiques and replica birds. The restaurant itself has a sino-Thai design. The other impression is that the food is very well presented, even when we requested a bowl of rice. Food tastes as good as it looks and the bill came up to be a very reasonable 4000 baht. Will definitely return when there’s a chance.

Followed Michelin recommended is not a regret! This local restaurant is located nearby Sarasin Bridge, like 20 mins from the airport. All dishes are delicious and fresh. There are some fishes and vegetables that we have never tried/known before. It’s also well decorated with nice greenery garden. Definitely return whenever visiting Phuket! 👍❤

The coolest decor is one of the highlights of this restaurant for me. Food was delicious (they add salt to the dishes, that is pretty unusual for Thai cousin, and a pleasure for non Thai person) ). Prices are friendly too.

Arrived there when it was raining and must say that the impact was pretty amazing . It’s somehow magical . Plants everywhere and little details to make the place truly beautiful. The staff is friendly and quite ( show up when you need them - but let you be the rest of the time ).
The food was great - one dish was particularly spicy ( for a western palate at least ) . We got -
Fish in red curry sauce (350 bath ) , red curry with crab meat and vermicelli (300 bath ), stir friend lhin han (150 bath ) , Thai herbal curry ( 150 bath ) .
If I were to come back , I’ll definitely get the red curry with crab meat and vermicelli - taste, looks and spicy levels were just perfect !
The stir fried lhin han - were traditional green leafs with cashew nuts, tofu curd and friend small shrimps .

Very good restaurant just slightly off the main road that leads to Sarasin Bridge. Highly recommended. Good home cooked styled food. Portions are small so you have a better chance to try out more dishes. Really good. Highly recommended.

I have been here numerous times and always every time I come to Phuket. Always come here for lunch, the location is offbeat about 20 minutes from airport at the very edge of Phuket island’s tip near sarasin bridge. The restaurant serves authentic high quality Thai southern seafood with attentive and friendly service.

Delightful restaurant that had a Michelin star in 2022. Quick service and friendly owner. The food was delicious and the people were amazing. Mainly locals were dining here and we were among the few tourists.

Ta Tuay is a fantastic find. Tucked away close to Sarasin Bridge.

Food quality & taste excellent. We ordered several dishes and were satisfied with all of them. The highlight for me was definitely the yellow curry crab (generous big chunks of crab meat) with vermicelli.

Price point is affordable. Environment is spacious, clean and cheerful. Especially the paintings of birds by the owner’s husband adorn the walls. The garden has lush greens. Place has indoor air-con and outdoor seatings.

Owner is very friendly and took time to chat with us after our meal. What started out as a small restaurant business has now expanded; yet the high standard has been maintained. We will definitely return at the next opportunity.

Phuket resident Thai recommended this restaurant. It was a bit difficult to find and doesn't look good from outside. But once you're inside the restaurant, it's whole new world. Very good atmosphere, very delicious food and reasonable price. Only bad thing was that there were many mosquitos.

My friend strongly recommended this place long before they received Michelin Awards. It’s a clean old house. I booked it prior to our arrival and ordered food in advance. I never try sand crabs (ปูจั๊กจั่น) and it tastes like those Japanese cracker snack. Really love it.

Other local menu is nice such as crab meat curry with vermicelli and stir fried liang leaves with egg. If you stay in the north of island, save time and no need to drive an hour to phuket town. You’ll enjoy it as much as you do with those restaurants.
