Mai Khao Dream Villa Resort & Spa

Location is a perfect balance of quietness, privacy and convenience. 1 min walk to the private beach which is absolutely beautiful. Lots of good food and massage options within walking distance too. Super spacious villas that are slightly rundown but nothing that I personally mind. Biggest highlight is the bed which is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Overall great value for money especially for families and those whose priority is spending time on the beach (and not enjoying luxurious rooms/services.)

The villa is so huge. The area itself can fit 30+ people at a pool party. The staff are well trained especially 'Pin'. Very impressive service. We love the pool in our villa. Nice and clean. The Mai Khao beach is just a few steps away. Beautiful beach and tranquil. The best escape from the busy of Phuket city. The only minor problem we found was the bathroom sliding door got stuck but it was fixed by the staff later on.

I highly recommend this resort for families as they have big villas with private pools and many good restaurants around the area. Pools on the ground level and first floor of the same villa and open to beach.
Neighboring by a great nice people and the staff at the resort are very kind people.
If you are thinking of a wider space with affordable prices, this resort is my recommendation to you.

Beautiful location! There are a few things that need freshening up in the villa, but overall a huge well designed villa with amazing atmosphere and outstanding ocean views. The heart is indeed the staff with a perfect service and hands-on mentality. Many thanks to Kai, the master of breakfast, the restaurant service team and of course the front desk staff Blue and Evgenia who show a sincere interest in fulfilling all guests' wishes! Stayed here for 3 nights and loved it!
We originally booked a 2 bedrooms villa, but there were some problems with the air-con, so they gave us a 3 bedrooms villa instead and also dinner and spa. Couldn’t complain!
The villa is so spacious and private, just steps away from Maikhao beach.
The beach is very quiet. Barely anyone there which is really nice. You felt almost like it’s your own beach!
Here’s perfect for anyone who want to just relax in a peaceful environment.

The beds were so comfortable.
The staffs were very friendly and professional.
Kudos to the cleaning team! They cleaned our whole villa in just about 30 minutes!! and they even rearranged my messy stuff on the sink haha
Breakfast and dinner were really nice! However, i ordered pizza that should’ve had sauce, cheese, ham, mushrooms, and basil, but it only had sauce, cheese, and ham. I understand that they may run out of basil and mushrooms, but if they could tell us before we ordered, we’d really appreciate it.
Even though, there were some problems with the villa’s front door, the staff fixed it for us very quickly.
Too bad, the resort’s pool was under renovation/maintenance and it finished the day we had to leave☹ We would love to enjoy the pool and bar there!
Overall, we love everything here! Excellent service! We had a really wonderful experience here. You guys just made our vacation memorable! Would definitely come back when we have a chance.

Gorgeous villa and 1 min walking distance to the secluded Mai Khao beach. I highly recommend anyone staying here!

The pool villa was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. This place is great if you want some quiet time away from the tourist hot spots. In particular, we enjoyed the private pool and the jacuzzi very much. Breakfast is served in your dining room, and if you like to cook your own food, there is a stove and a grill as well as filtered tap water. The bathtub is huge and matches the overall size of the villa. Our villa had direct beach access with a nice view of the ocean through the pine trees, and you can go for a swim, paddle in a kayak, ride one of the resort's bikes, or simply walk along the beach for miles.

Great place to be in Mai Khao. Right at the beach, amazing villas (incl your own indoor pool and garden), and excellent service.

The manager (Matt) answered all questions we had, and you could feel he loves his job. Other staff are also very friendly, especially the bar service was very good.

Come here to relax by the pool or tan at the beach. (The beach is superb, and there's hardly anyone here...)

Pro Tip: Book via Click A Tree - they plant a tree for your stay at no extra cost.

Very nice place! We go there 3 times a week for swimming lessons with my kid and every time they make some improvements and add cool things to the facility.
The beach is extremely beautiful and peaceful, the sea is nice.

Perfect getaway for couples. Tired of being in hotels full of people? Tired of overcrowded breakfasts? Tired of overcrowded beaches? Then this hotel is perfect for you. Everything was exceptional, we where welcomed by very friendly staff and shown around our 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The villa was gigantic and very clean.

Superb, relaxing place to stay. We booked a 2-bedroom beachfront villa as the 1-bedroom was already booked, and it was huge - over 400 sqm including the private outdoor area with pool and jacuzzi. Very well appointed too. And you can walk out the front of the villa onto the sand 20 metres from the deserted beach. Faultless service and delicious food. It's in a very quiet area of Phuket just 15 minutes north of the airport, so a good base for exploring Phang Nga as well as Phuket itself. You can borrow the hotel bikes and wobble up to the 7/11 500 metres away for supplies too.
Negatives? The beach is part of a protected area so don't come here expecting to be able to find a restaurant (or even a sunbed) on the beach as they don't exist. Which is actually a large part of its charm. We also booked the in-villa BBQ for our last evening - a chef comes and cooks everything perfectly near your pool and it is all set up and served beautifully for you - everything was just so however there was just too much - we barely ate more than half and I hate wasting food. Though having too much of a good thing doesn't deserve docking a star!

Best resort we've been to! The friendliest staff imaginable (especially Sara!). We felt right at home from the second we walked through the doors. The even gave us a room upgrade. They have 2 pools. 1 with a sea view, swim up bar, and infinity edge and another massive one in the back with a water slide, swim up bar, kids area, spa, and huge gym. The pool in the back even connects to the rooms so you have a private entrance. I cannot rave enough about our amazing stay. We even tried to change our flights because we enjoyed ourselves so much.

Do keep in mind the beach is cool to look at but when we were there unswimmable do to huge waves. The resort is 10 mins from the airport and next to a couple very small local restaurants but absolutely nothing else. Come here if you want to get away to an amazing resort and never leave.

Truly a dream

This is a truly five star de luxe property.We stayed four nights in a de luxe suite with mini pool and jacuzzi. This was very well appointed. The hotel possesses a marvelous sandy beach and is located on a small bay. I rented cars for a day and I’m very happy with The orange car Phuket

It was a good place for a family vacation. The pools are big and its close to the beach. The staff was very friendly, especially CAN was such a problem solver and hype-man😍🥰
It is far away from touristic places so if you want to travel its not the right place.

The entire holiday was absolutely fantastic. Facilities/ villa glorious, beach glorious, and ALL the staff well they were just terrific nothing was to much trouble and they were always happy to help whenever you asked, can not praise them enough I love all of them

This place was my tropical oasis. However, I do wish they had a shisha bar. Other than that, if I could have stayed longer, I would.

Families Bonding & Birthday Celebrations

4 families - 12 of us have such a wonderful times together at the villas.

The villas have 2 pools and 1 public pool, we have bbq dinner at our villas (prawns, squids, ribs, salad etc) The staffs are friendly and helpful as we cant order cake at last minute they provide us a mini cake.

The villas big, comfortable and peaceful is good for families bonding and relaxing.

A big thank you to all staffs.

This place was wonderful. It offers a way to be on Phuket without having to deal with...well...Phuket. The staff is great, the food is good, the bungalows give a nice private feel, and the place is very peaceful. We loved the beach and the hidden hammocks. Just a gem of a place if you're looking for peace with access. Thank you to the staff!!!

Peaceful and quiet. The room is a bit old some doors are worn out but, however, overall is quite clean. The beach is super nice as if a private beach. Food is good.

I have to say that we are more than satisfied with our vacation in Dream Villa Resort. We could not determine what is the best of all. Hospitality, stuff, exellent brekfast offer, cleanliness or space of room. Two pools, outdoor shower...MaiKhao beach so close and empty, in one word AMAZING! We will come again to MDV.
