Soi Sawan Waterfall

There are plenty of places to eat, get a drink and toilet facilities. A walk through the forest down 150 steps to numerous waterfalls and pools to take a dip in. It wasn't busy when we were there and that makes it a much more relaxing, pleasant experience.
Great views over the jungle at the top as well.

Well, when I went there it was free even though I came with a foreigner. Breath taking sight and a good long walk and climbing. There's a secret Buddhist temple before you reach this destination.

Magnificent waterfall. Best to visit August after the monsoon season. Prepare for a short hike from the ticket counter to the waterfall 700m with 100m down the hill to the waterfall. Entrance fees is included if you have Pha Tam National Park ticket.

It is an incredible waterfall from the steep rocky cliff. I visited during the rainy season which was the perfect timing to visit when the volume of water is enormous. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest accessible road where we have to walk through the small forest to get there on the spot. We can go near the waterfall and feel the force of its flow which makes us wet within a few seconds with incessant splashings and water droplets. I enjoyed the beauty of the waterfall while I was practicing waterfall photography to get the creamy blurring effect of fast flowing water.

Extremely cute small waterfall easily reachable after a brief walk. I was there a little bit late in the afternoon so had the chance to see an awesome sunset too. 5/5

Not much water in december, but very beautiful sight with all the big holes!

This place is recommended if you fancy climbing up several levels of waterfall. There’re tons of big stones creating stunning views. The higher you climb the more various scenes you can find. Recommend in raining season or October where enough amount of water will flow through. I drive all over this province and the place is easy to find.

Super waterfall .It is pleasant to swim in hot weather.

Soei Sawan is a waterfall location that keeps getting better and better. It's not just a location to go to and view the waterfall and leave. It is a place where you can adventure, climb the waterfall and go further up should you want a higher level of difficulty of adventure. As the area is rather large, you can always find a spot to hang out even if there is a huge number of visitors.

One of my favorites in Ubon so far.

For foreigners, it is 400 baht, or 200 baht if you are good at negotiating and for locals it is 50 baht

One of the nicer natural attractions in the Ubon area. Be forewarned the walk back is all uphill for the older folks. Also go to the scenic over Pha Diem 5 km away. Best overlook of Mekong and Laos around. The ticket for one works at the other. 100 baht for big white boys, that for locals.

น้ำตกสร้อยสวรรค์ เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่สูงประมาณ 30 เมตร เกิดจากลำน้ำห้วยสร้อยและแซไผ ไหลตกจากยอดเขาแล้วไหลมาบรรจบกัน จนมีลักษณะเหมือนสายสร้อยคล้องคอ จึงเป็นที่มาของ “น้ำตกสร้อยสวรรค์” ตัวน้ำตกตั้งอยู่ห่างจากจุดชมภาพเขียนสีก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ผาแต้มประมาณ 15 กิโลเมตร เมื่อมาถึงจุดตรวจบริเวณน้ำตกสร้อยสวรรค์จะต้องจอดรถเอาไว้ภายในบริเวณที่กำหนด แล้วเดินเท้าต่ออีกประมาณ 500 เมตร ผ่านถนนลาดยางที่โอบล้อมไปด้วยดงไผ่ทึบสองข้างทางและลงบันไดซึ่งรายรอบไปด้วยหมู่แมกไม้สีเขียวขจีสู่ตัวน้ำตก
ช่วงแรกคุณจะได้พบกับน้ำตกซึ่งไหลรินเป็นสายยาวสวยงามตกลงมาจากแนวผาหน้าตัด ด้านหน้ามีแอ่งน้ำตื้นเล็กๆมากมายเรียงรายไปตามแนวทางไหลของสายน้ำ หากค่อยๆเดินด้วยความระมัดระวังข้ามแอ่งน้ำนี้ไปยังฝั่งตรงข้ามคุณจะได้พบกับความสวยงามของน้ำตกสร้อยสวรรค์ช่วงที่สอง มองลงมาทางด้านล่างซ้ายมือจะเห็นสายน้ำซึ่งลัดเลาะผ่านแอ่งน้ำเล็กๆและโขดหินที่คุณเพิ่งเดินข้ามมาไหลลงไปยังแอ่งน้ำขนาดใหญ่กลายเป็นน้ำตกเล็กๆอีกหนึ่งชั้นเบื้องล่าง
ตอนพวกเราเดินขึ้นไปจะไม่เจอทุ่งดอกไม้
ว่ากันว่าจะเจอช่วงปลายฤดูฝนต้นฤดูหนาว ราวๆ ต.ค. ถึง ม.ค. แล้วแต่สภาพอากาศ

เป็นสถานที่ ที่สวยมาก ๆ เจ้าหน้าที่ก็ดีสุด ๆ คอยดูแล คอยบอกและดูแลดีมาก ๆ และในช่วงนี้ดอกไม้ป่าเริ่มบานและจะบานเต็มที่ในช่วงเดือนมกราคม ใครคิดจะไปรีบไปเลยคะสวยจริง.....^^
