It is a cluster of Buddhist temples including a temple inside the cave. To my eyes, the giant Gong with the flags of ten ASEAN countries was the point of focus. This Gong is the largest Gong that I have ever seen before. We can get inside to all the temples and offers our prayers and donations. There were lots of visitors during my visit but not crowded. Temple inside the cave is another point we should never miss. There were several Buddha statues of different sizes where we can pray and receive blessings. There are food stalls, gift shops, photography services, etc. It is also a good viewpoint for Laos, Mekong River and traditional houses along the Mekong River.
Entry fee: free.
Time of travel: August 2018.

Beautiful temples with rare crowds. Can have a look at two colour river with half of water in brownish colour and other half in serene blue. Across the river, you can see Laos on a clear day. The scenery is beautiful and and entire campus is spotless clean. There was a watch tower which can be scaled through stairs to have a nice view around.
Entire area may be covered in 30 min to an hour and keep some more time to breathe fresh air and get mesmerized with the beauty of the wats, beautiful buddha idols and the surrounding manicured gardens, river and river bank. They have put several huge logs in the garden which look grand though not sure of the reason, purpose or background story.

It's a nice tempel with a great view to Laos. The gong is super huge and amazing. There are also small stores selling drinks and food and souvenirs. Parkings is like in each temple for free.

This is one of famous temple at Khongchiam, Ubonratchathani. You can come to make merit and pay respects to " Luangpu Kamkaning". and see the Khong river from the viewpoint in here. If you come to Khongchiam this is the one of attraction in here.

A breath taking place. A good pit stop to visit for photography. Pretty fun place and lots of things to see. With 5 baht, one can use the binoculars laid out the top of the viewpoint to look at Laos.

Spectacular! If you are in Ubon, this is an awesome temple to go visit. You'll have such a great view of Laos as well. It is on top of a hill, and over looks the river border of Thailand and Laos.

The big shield/gong that stands near the entrance is colorful and hard to miss. Then you have the two types of temple buildings, one that is all white, and the chedi looking one that has gold tips. This is all before you can go down to see the Buddha statues in the caves below and the mausoleum.

Totally worth going to and checking out!

When you enter it have a big and easy parking. If you look, you can find parkings with shadow.
The temple and the park are both very beautiful. The view is extraordinary, fantastic!
Don't forget to visit the cute village down below the temple.

Magnificent landmark edging on the precipice of Laos.

Not to be missed by any passers by. Gorgeous bell, immaculate white temple before a stunning cavernous prayer section awaits you downstairs.

Photo opportunities aplenty and be sure to sign up for the next running event kicking off from this incredible vantage point!
