It's wonderful place.. I love this place if I want to relax and stay for awhile just to feel I'm comfortable..

Compact size cinema,Renovation completed. More comfortable feeling, add one special type, Cinecafe.

Good, clean and reasonable price theater.

Seat is quite big and comfortable.

One has forgotten his phone for more than 30 mins and I sit here to watch for him 😂. Luckily he found out and come back to get it.

SF Cinema City in the Mall Thapra is similar to all other SF cinemas in Bangkok, services and conditions are similar and like pretty much all SF cinemas in Bangkok malls, it is on the very top floor. The only difference is that of Mall Thapra. Mall Thapra caters to mostly locals, not many tourists. If you are watching movies on English screens, it is highly unlikely that the cinema will be crowded. Not true if the screen is dubbed in Thai. I live near Mall Thapra and I enjoy seeing movies there, it is close by and it was never crowded when I was there. However, the food court is why I like this place. Food court is on the bottom floor. Food is very inexpensive and with huge varieties. McDonald's, KFC, and other American Restaurants, they are there too, but if it is the local food you want, then this food court is the place to be. It is street food prices in a clean and air conditioned environment. In my opinion, food is better than the food courts in Terminal 21 and MBK center. Also, they have a good size supermarket on the same floor where you can easily get all the essential suppliers there as well, all at the same prices that locals pay. So overall, I like the Mall and SF Cinema is an added bonus.

The inside looked like a palace. Fancy washrooms like a 5-star hotel. Seating options: executive or VIP seat, sun bench, 2-seater reclining private box, bean bag, sofa/loveseat, day bed, lazy chair, executive suite, or moon bed. Most of those are suggested for a movie + nap. Napkins and wet wipes handed out. Very clean theater room, no junk on the floor or sticky mess. Still have to try their IMAX 3D VR. Have never enjoyed a movie experience this much, and I've been to dozens of different theaters across the US and Canada. Ticket prices were average like those countries, but thanks were very reasonably priced- cheap and not a ripoff.

I like SF cinemas chain. They are everywhere and lots of promotions all the time. Its my second entertainment place for watching all Marvels, SciFi, Fantasy movies.
Popcorn just for 100 / 120 baht is nice addon.

One of the most perfect theatres in Bangkok, SF Cinema at The Mall Thapra offers a variety of food items which one can enjoy during movies. Also, it has well maintained halls and hospitable staff.
