Great place for food.
I am sure it gets busier further on into the year. Less shopping stalls then I expected, however, looks as though it's being extended.
Some great bars along the left hand side of the market.
Big selection or food and lots of space to sit.
Loved it here.

A nice place to hang out. Not a lot of people during my visit. The atmosphere is good and the prices are decent. The only complaint will be using toilet at one specific area, and charged 5 baht, coils needed.

Very nice night market with great options and very nice vendor stalls at very reasonable prices. My favorite items here were the roti, the fried seafood place, and the coconut stall. Everything here was very good and well priced.

a chill night market with minimal crowd! many food stalls but less shopping. met this cute little doggo at the film camera shop on the side of the market.

i couldn’t find the name of the shop but there’s only 1 camera shop there. the owner was so so so nice! wanted to buy a camera from her but the camera wasn’t working & she was honest and told us she couldn’t sell it! please go visit her and the little cute doggy

Just reopened not long ago, I would say only 50% stores are open at the moment. Hopefully all the stores will come back and this place will get crowded again! I love it so far due to the crowd not too full. Very relaxing and the foods are good.

Ratchada, always a great night out before hitting the bars. We headed up a bit early around 5:30pm so our group got a beer tower and some appetizers. By the time we were done the market was open, we explored the many shops and the ladies got their nails done, for a great price. Later we had sea food and ribs. We spent around 3 1/2 hours there. But you could easily spend the night there. A must see while in Bangkok.

Love the ambience here, doesn’t feel like Thailand! There’s no crowd so ample walking space! Market is divided into 3 sections - bar, food, and shopping! Market closes at 12am, but I’m not sure if it applies to the bars. Anyway, hope to visit again and hopefully this market survives 🥲

A fabulous night market with a dazzling array of food - you could go here every night for a month and still have more to try!
Very friendly people and as well as food there is also local produce to buy, or if you need something else, there is a traditional shopping mall next door, this area is really nice though!

An interesting night market with varieties of food. There are still many stalls that are not in business.

How do you get here?

Hop onto MRT Thailand Cultural centre station, walk through the Esplanade mall, keep left, and you will see a door, walk towards that direction, you will see the night market.

This night market gets a lot of criticism for being for tourists and renovated and lost its charm. But I loved it. I am a tourist though ha ha. It was clean, spacious, and almost all the stalls were full of interesting dinner options. A decent number of bins for rubbish. A number of seating options once you have lots of food. There were definitely a lot of non traditional stalls but that added to the variety. Only issue was hard to change my 1000 baht note, so bring smaller change!

The train night market reopen again finally. The place filled with vast variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, outfitters
, barbers, nail shops, etc.

I was there mainly to check out the food
. The food was decent. Some of them are a bit pricey but acceptable. The place was much cleaner than the old market but the ambiance was still quite similar.

Definitely worth a visit. Lots of tourists though.

Love this newly opened night market compared to others. It is large and has a good mix of retail, food and services -- clothing, accessories, manicure/pedicure, shoes, bags, aroma, local and other cuisines, drinks etc. Not all stalls are opened but there was already enough to walk, with much smaller crowd.

Look forward to be back again on next trip!

I love this market. It was nice to see it had reopened after being closed for a stretch. It is much cleaner than it was in 2019 when I was last there. Lots of food variety. Hopefully tourism expands and more shops open. I look forward to returning soon!

When you go to Bangkok, you must visit the night market. You can find lots of food stall at The One Ratchada, I recommend Lang Saeb stacked pork ribs with chili. Its only 200m away from nearest station Thailand Cultural Center. They open until midnight

Great place to try out local food in a street market kind of place. Very lively even during the rains.
