Khon Kaen International Airport

The airport is newly renovated. Look great. It is not very big and will take you around 10-15 mins from check in counter to the gate. In the domestic section there are around 10-20 shops around. Nothing much though but at least the price for food is not expensive around 75 Baht/plate.

Nice airport. Very clean and all the information sign is clearly display and correct. Many shops in the departure area.

For a regional airport of its size, the Khon Kaen Airport is rather nice and well equipped. Because it doesn’t handle too much traffic (yet), check-in times are minimal and there is plenty of seating in the departure hall. Parking on all four floors is also rather easy. In the future though, upgrades will be needed, such as a coffee shop, small snack shops, and more phone chargers in the pre-departure hall. However, these are minor issues.

The four gates for domestic departures can get a bit busy and overwhelm some of the small shops. That’s unavoidable in airports it seems.

A very modern, clean, comfortable and spacious airport. I wish all regional airports would be on that level

Modern airport servicing major points of interest throughout Thailand. This airport will do well to serve the expanding city with faster travel options to major tourist destinations throughout Thailand.

Smooth security process after check in with your respective airline. Make sure you get your boarding passes printed, as the scanner for electronic passes was not functioning.

Open and spacious departure area with plenty of available seating options while you wait for your aircraft to arrive.

Multiple coffee shops, small bites, and souvenir stores are available past security in the departure area. Some options for the same are available in the ticketing area as well.

KhonKaen international airport. The new terminal established in 2022. The airport zone, you can see the village along the way heading to. In the airport has the parking building that you need to pay more.

For a regional airport it has great facilities. Good parking for 150 thb per day. Clean toilets (although in the boarding hall there could be a bit more of them). There are plenty of coffee shops where prices are reasonable

I think this airport is still new, the facilities are still great. Fast check thru and no hassle in boarding👍

Hardly anyone here. It's a nice place. Kind of big. Very clean. Very spacious. Probably because there's no one here. Surprisingly low traffic due to it being call an international airport. Arrival and departure seems effortless.

Nice and clean. It's a new airport, and the staffs are very nice. But the bathroom still wet, need to improve this part. I hope there's more shop in boarding room, so we have more choices. Thank you for the services.

Airport did good protection for COVID-19. You need to check in on the APP once you enter the airport building. There are several car rental stands in the airport lobby. There are also Taxi Meter close to door 4. You could just let the lady know where are you going then she will give you a queue and communicate with the taxi driver. Taxi fare is shown on the meter and there will be an extra charge 50 Baht for airport service. :-)

Very efficient airport only a few minutes outside the city center. Usually check-in and get through security all in less than 15 minutes. Plenty of cafes and coffee shops in the waiting area before boarding.

New building, clean, plenty of seats. Few restaurants/shops. So should eat before get here.

Plenty of chairs in Check in area. City bus and taxis are available on the airport. At Departure foodies will be disappointed 😔 as no eating outlets are there like BKK suvarnabhumi airport.

Very clean airport. The lounge near the boarding gates have comfy chairs, too!

Nice domestic airport. 3 times visits in a row to and from bangkok in only 2 weeks period.. fast check-in, can't really find anything against it.
