Included in the 6 temple ticket. It's not crowded compared to the other temples around, especially the one across from it. You can walk around and enjoy the ruins of the tranquility of the area. There are also some shades you can sit.

Wat Phra Ram stands out among Ayutthaya's ruins as a personal favorite. Its convenient location makes it a must-visit. Don't overlook this historical gem while exploring Ayutthaya's rich cultural heritage.

The atmosphere of this temple is tranquil and peaceful. No sight of tourist.
Not a big place when compared to Wat mahathat.
Have been left damaged and abandoned. No longer serving any monastic function, the ruin just remains as a cultural heritage.
Overall, a nice place.

One of the more pretty historical sites. We were almost alone. Maybe lucky? Otherwise very quiet. Highly recommended.

A large Buddhist temple ruin located in the heart of Ayutthaya historic Park. Lots to see, we enjoyed our visit as there not very many people there. The entrance fee 50 baht for foreigners. We always enjoy visiting ruins as they so much about the past.

This old temple was built since the early phase of Ayutthaya Era. It is believed to be built in the early years of the reign of King Ramesuan, the 2nd King of Ayutthaya Era, in the area where the body of King U-thong, King Ramesuan’s father, was cremated. Since King Ramesuan’s reign lasted only 1 year, the construction of this temple is believed to be completed in the reign of the next king or King Racharhirat I; otherwise, the construction of this temple might be completed during the time when King Ramesuan accessed to the throne for the second time 20 years later.

The temple is part of the Ancient City of Ayuthaya. It's beautibul and guess it was very beautiful before it burned down.

Beautiful place. We visited around 10 AM and we were almost alone in the place. We bought the 'package ticket' which includes access to 6 sites in Ayutthaya Historical Park for 220 THB per person. You can easily spend 45 min to an hour exploring and taking pictures. Blasting sun can be an issue so come prepared!

This wat has been preserved well and you can still see the remains of the walls around the main structure. Compared to other wats, this one is also much less crowded and quieter so it’s recommended to come.

Another beautiful ruin in the ancient city. While not as large or intact as others. It is none the less impressive and striking as all of Ayutthaya is .

Small but also beautiful surroundings temple. If you walk from Wat Mahathat, the entrance was kinda tricky cos it would be on the other side of the road. Easiest way you visit Wat Srisunpetch first and then come to Wat Phra Ram. It will be easier to get access.

Wat Phra Ram is one of the temples that one should visit in Ayutthaya.
Though founded in 1369, the ruins of Wat Phra Ram date mostly from its restoration in the 15th century. Its main feature is a well-proportioned prang situated on a stepped terrace adorned with chedis. Some of the prang's stucco decorations, including Buddha images in the walking and standing poses, still remain.
The debris found in Wat Phra Ram include the Prang, temple walls, pillars inside the ordination hall, 7 assembly halls, assorted sizes of 28 pagodas dotting around the Prang. Even though the temple is in ruin, its eternal charm still portrays the glorious history of Thais. The temple is open to visitors from 8.00 to 18.00 and after hours with spotlights from 19.30 to 21.00. The admission fee is 10 baht for Thais and 50 baht for foreigners.

This place is probably listed on Unesco's list of world heritage. The entrance is only from the west side. You dont need to cover your legs or arms like on other Thai temples. Here you can feel the breaths of history on your neck (metaphorically speaking).

Wat Phra Ram is one of the furthest away from the train station. We started here. There are really tall pagodas here. An ideal starting point for your day trip in Ayutthaya!

Verynice place. If you have enough time ..several days, then buy combined tickets for all temple. It is much cheaper than buying ticjets for each temple, as the ticjet per one temple is 50 baht, combined ticket is 220 baht.

Of the 3 temples we went to today, this was my favorite. Lots of photo opportunities, elephants, grassy area you lay out on, tourist trap fun things, and of course ancient Buddhist architecture.

Possibly my favourite temple ruin in Ayutthaya. It doesn’t cost 500THB to get in though. When I went in June 2023, admission to Wat Phra Ram cost 50THB; a combined ticket gets you into six temples/ruins for 220THB (which is what I did).
