Ko Chang Memorial

We took a day trip with our rental motorbike from Bang bao.
The drive is beautiful with alot of rollercoaster like roads in the end, Maybe not suitable for beginner drivers.
We stopped a few times for coffe and fruit shakes and it took us 1,5h driving but if You are in a hurry it can be done in less than an hour.
The beach is small but very nice with perfect sand. A couple of rocks mixed it up and felt natural, the beach was cleaned and tidy (locals has put an effort into it)
But remeber to pick more trash than You produce so it can continue to be a great getaway.
Maybe not suitable for younger kids.

April 2019 looks finished but not yet opened. The beach is nice and there is some shaded areas too. Worthy of a 🏊‍♂

Nice beach facing the smaller island of ko Chang. Its a long ride there and you can't get here without your own transport. The journey here was the best. A very beautiful ride there with green nature everywhere.

Real hidden gem on the east side of koh chang

Small beach very clean on the end of the road no shop nothing good for enjoin and relaxing but I like the mountain beside good for climbing.

Nice quiet spot in the far south. Small beach with beautiful white sand.
The Navy memorial is badly maintained whiich is a pitty.
There are no facilities or vendors.
Well worth a visit.

But don‘t Come here in rainy Season, since the way to get there is Really dangerous. We had a river to cross on the normal road

Really nice but small beach with super fine white sand. The visitor center is closed. But there are ladies selling some different drinks. You can also rent kayaks or a boat to go to the small islands nearby.

Cracking beach with gorgeous soft white sand. Could do with putting some refuse bins about as there was a bit of rubbish on the beach.

Very beautiful, small, white sand beach. Pretty good snorkeling 20m out and off to the sides of the beach. Fun drive up and down steep hills. Decent, though narrow road.

The fact that the district govt maintains the road very well to this hidden gem is quite amazing. The road is very fun to drive on, and the beach itself is amazing. If you want to spend a bit of time here i highly recommended it. No changing rooms however most of the time you’re by yourself. There is a replica warship here which looks like its used as a convention centre sometimes. If you ever have the chance to come here by scooter please do. I always come by car, and you can definitely come here in your small eco box. Although I have always been here with a V6 Mercedes, lol.
