10/10 the most amazing place for get away from things in the city and busy beach! The island was amazing, the water is clear and peaceful but you have to know how to ride motorbikes or have to rent the golf carts. I would definitely recommend this island for the people who looking for Get away place

Koh Mak is a good destination for sports enthusiasts and those looking for peace. The Good Time Sports Resort and White Sand Beach Resort offers several facilities and activities to stay in shape, including a gym, crossfit, Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), biking, beach volleyball, kayaking, indoor and outdoor yoga, tennis, badminton, jogging, walking, functional training, cross fit, swimming, classic boxing, basketball, and more. The island also offers pristine beaches, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, night fishing, and more.
The health trend to get fit and exercise is growing and has certainly reached Koh Mak. Good Time Sports Resort installed the only outdoor gym on the island
Guests of White Sand Resort and Good Time Sports Resort train for free in this functionally equipped fitness gym, others can join for a little fee.
Koh Mak is constantly creating and promoting various kinds of activities such as Yoga Retreats and Muay Thai Camps and the community is happy to participate and join the sports community.

Koh Mak is awesome. One of the nicest island in Thailand you should visit. People here are so friendly and helpful. As it is small island, everybody know each other and it is also safe place. You can rent a motorbike and visit nice restaurants and beaches around the island. Or you can take a taxi service (50 THB/person/round).

If you look for a great snorkeling or diving trip, I recommend BB Divers. The staffs are professional divers. There are both international and local crews. The food during the trip is fresh and new menus every time. They are truly concern about all guests for the safety and having the memorable experience.

My favourite island so far. Koh Mak is good vibes. The people are great. It’s a very small island but it’s big enough to explore on foot or on a bike (very flat). The restaurants such as Heaven and MA Bistro are fabulous. Banana Beach has the best sunsets and By The Sea is a lovely poshtel. We did a diving day with Koh Mak Divers and I can’t recommend them enough. The only downside to the visit were the sandflies and the dogs. We like to run in the morning but it’s just not really doable on these small islands. Worth thinking about if you’re planning to stay a while - maybe look for a place with a gym.

A beautiful place. You have several small islands around Ko Mak and can swim there (if you are a good sportsman)
There is no violance or crime. You can drive with the scooter around and even leave your keys in the scooter or your bags on it. there are too many spots for making windeful pictures and also the food is very delicous.

But keep in mind - there is no party. The best place to find back to yourself

No sandflies! Its the most empty island after visiting Koh Chang and Koh Kood also. The beaches are slightly nicer on Koh Kood but Koh Mak is so empty, we were constantly alone on stretches of sand. The restaurants were by far better here. Try the Clay Pot and Food Art for some of the best food you'll eat in Thailand. For sure visit here if you are going to Koh Kood, don't bother with Koh Chang

Clear and clean water, suitable for snorkle, swimming, scuba. Far from land(take time about 1 hr. Speed boat) but quietly you will feel private because it's less people even high season and nice local people. The island not big. You can drive or bike around there in a few time, good road but very dark at night because NO street lights. Many rubber trees. You can feel free sightseeing others resort. They're nice welcome. 4-5 minimarts around the beach. But 1 Money dispenser(ATM) should carry cash (some shops/resorts/services can pay by E-banking/online)

No throngs of tourists. There could be a maximum of 15 people around you at the busiest time. Head past mira montra to a dirt road with a red letterbox to find a completely deserted beach. Of you're not diving you're only experiencing 1/4 of what the island has to offer.
