Ruan Thai restaurant

Ryan Thai is a highlight of our visit to Phi Phi islands. The restaurant is located up on the hill and in a traditional style. The resort offers a club car to drop you at the restaurant from your room.

On arrival we enjoyed live music and throughout our meal. We ordered the tasting menu and it was such a great way to sample many different Thai dishes in one evening.

I’m not sure what the negative reviews have been, but we loved our time at the restaurant and will absolutely be back on our next trip.

The service at Ruan Thai is flawless. The waitstaff are incredibly kind and welcoming, enhancing the dining experience with their attentiveness. The restaurant's location, perched on the hills, provides a breathtaking view over the sea, adding a magical backdrop to our meals.

The terrace is always clean and the seating arrangement is thoughtfully designed to offer a private dining experience, free from the disruptions of conversations from other tables.

Our longing to return to Phi Phi Island is partly fueled by the wonderful experiences we had at this restaurant. The exceptional taste that graced our evenings at Ruan Thai has left a lasting impression, and we eagerly anticipate the joy of revisiting this culinary gem.

A definite destination while in Saii. Good choices of Thai , but also other varied dishes.

Food and service were great! Prices are decent compared to other resorts, but you should expect to pay more compared to an off-resort restaurant

This restaurant is a good place for a special evening. It is a bit more fancy than the other restaurants in the area. They have very good traditional Thai food. The price is a little higher than most of the restaurants.

Beautiful food with the service extra special with the lovely Susina looking after us.

Wir können die negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Wir reisen viel nach Thailand, essen vor allem gern authentisch und haben befürchtet, hier nur “westernized” Thai Cuisine zu bekommen. Das Gegenteil war der Fall: alle Gerichte waren perfekt und authentisch gewürzt. Wir hatten einen ganzen Fisch, der top frisch war & die Nam Jim Seafood Sauce dazu war hervorragend. Wir mussten allerdings ein bisschen länger aufs Essen warten. Dennoch sehr empfehlenswert.
