Restricted for visitors and guarded by the thais 24/7. Only way you can come here is to book a tour to bring you around. Our tour guide explained that there are many bird nest in the cave and its closed due to over farming of nest.

Viking Cave in Ko Phi Phi is a breathtaking natural wonder. Its towering limestone cliffs and mysterious cave art make it a must-visit. The boat tour is exhilarating, and the cave's history is fascinating. Don't miss this unique experience when in Thailand!

Amazing spot to snorkel, can see lots of fish, vast array of colours and types. In the shallows, you can even see baby blacktip reef sharks, which is great. If you like snorkelling, pick a tour company which maximises your time here (we had about 45 mins with Seanery).

Unlock the Mysteries of Viking Cave. It's a Nature Lover’s Paradise. Our boat captain told us that Vikings used to stay here that's why this cave is known as Viking Cave. Good place to go for Snorkeling. Clean water, fresh air. Must visit place.

Nice little bay to snorkel and have a casual swim. Lots of boats will be harboring here, lots of people snorkeling, water is cool, and the corals are mesmerising. The rock formation is nice to look at. Just pray that it drizzles a bit when you are there, trust that makes the experience so much better. Overall ❤

It was a short pass-by since we were on a tour but being there and in the sun we enjoyed our precious little time before our boat departs.

Nestled within the stunning Phi Phi Islands, the Viking Cave is a captivating gem that seamlessly blends nature's beauty with intriguing history. As you approach the cave, the towering limestone cliffs create a dramatic backdrop, enhancing the allure of this mystical spot.

The cave's name is derived from the ancient paintings that adorn its walls, depicting Viking-like ships, hence its historical significance. Exploring the cavernous interior unveils a treasure trove of rich cultural heritage, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts.

The vibrant hues of the cave's natural formations, combined with the soft echoes of the waves crashing against the cliffs, create a surreal atmosphere. Visitors are treated to a visual feast of intricate stalactites and stalagmites that evoke a sense of wonder and amazement.

Phi Phi Leh is a shelter to the "Viking Cave", which is residence of the white-nest swiftlet 🐤(indigenous bird). These birds create their nest from their saliva and are harvested for human consumption.
The cave is surrounded by deep blue seawater. Tourists are not allowed to go inside. only view is available from the boat. Even though they don’t allow to snorkel in front of this cave but they can enjoy snorkeling at a distance.
Overall exciting experience!

Was not able to enter these caves as it was closed for tourists. But we did see from a distant. There are thousands of bird nests inside and locals do go their to haverst them (some form of delicacy!).
