a charming cafe that preserves the history and architecture of an old Chinese business in Khonkaen. The cafe is located in a renovated shophouse that dates back to over 80 years ago. The owner, is a descendant of the original owner who ran a grocery store in the same building. He decided to turn the place into a cafe and keep the original structure and design as much as possible.

The cafe has a nostalgic atmosphere that transports you back to the past. The wooden furniture, the antique decorations, the old photos, and the vintage signs all add to the charm of the place. The cafe also has a small museum that displays some of the items and documents from the old grocery store. You can learn more about the history and culture of the Chinese community in Khonkaen and how they contributed to the development of the city.

The cafe serves a variety of coffee and tea, as well as some snacks and desserts. I ordered a latte and a slice of cheesecake, which were both delicious and satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast and efficient. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.

I enjoyed my time at Rak An Coffee and Cafe Khonkaen, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves coffee and history. It is a unique and cozy place that offers a glimpse into the past and a taste of the present. It is one of the best cafes in Khonkaen, and I will definitely visit again.

Cozy coffee shop located in central KK city. Just opened 4 months. The owner is really friendly. He introduced a lot about the history of this house to me. I cannot speak Thai. But he speaks English really fluently. So it’s definitely ok for foreigners to visit here.
Their coffee shop name has Chinese is because the owner’s grandfather came from southern China many years ago. They also have some old stuff for show on second floor.
This house is 65 years old. All made by wood. They renovate the house and make it as coffee shop.
I recommend visitors could take off your shoes and come to their second floor. You could see the unique design here.
Lots of places for people to take good photos. Even the toilet is a good place to take photos.

A beautiful coffee shop located at the centre of the town. Delicious cakes and variety of coffee choices. A must visit.

Very cool coffee shop within a renovated traditional old house inside Khon Kaen. Coffee tastes nice. Place is perfect to take some pictures and hang out for a while.

ร้านสวย บ้านไม้แบบโบราณ กาแฟราคากลางๆ ขนมรสชาติปานกลาง ราคาไม่แพงมาก สำคัญ ดีตรงที่มีจอดรถได้หลังร้านหลายคันค่ะ

ร้านกาแฟตกแต่งสไตล์เรโทรลอฟท์ ตัวอาคารเคยเป็นร้านค้าสมัยปู่ย่าตายายเอามาตัดนู่นต่อนี่ ผสานของเก่าเก็บกับบรรยากาศสงบ นั่งนอนทำงานคุยชิลได้ มีเพลงไทยสมัยพ่อกับแม่เปิดคลอๆ ชอบตรงบรรยากาศ ไม่รีบไม่ร้อนเหมาะมานั่งหาไอเดียหรือถ่ายภาพมากค่ะ วันนี้ทานอเมริกาโน่เย็นคั่วกลาง เปรี้ยวน้อย หอมสดชื่นค่ะ ส่วนบราวน์นี่กรอบนอกนุ่มในนิดๆ อุ่นให้ด้วย พอดีไม่ถนัดบราวน์นี่แต่ก็อร่อยดีนะคะ

เค้กมะพร้าว 10/10 อร่อยมาก สองคนแย่กันกินไม่เหลือแม้แต่ซาก เค้กนุ่มมาก หอมมะพร้าว อร่อยโคตรๆ

ลาเต้ 10/10 ของแฟน แฟนบอกอร่อยมากกก ปกติกินลาเต้ที่ไหนจะแบบ งั้นๆ ไม่งั้นก็ดีเฉยๆ แต่ร้านนี้น่าจะถูกปากนางนะ บอก the best ลาเต้ เลย

ครัวซองต์ 8/10 ก็ใช้ได้นะ อร่อยเลย เคยกินที่อื่นแข็งโป๊กเลย ร้านนี้นุ่ม และอร่อยด้วย

นมสดคาราเมล (เย็น) 9/10 ชอบกินหวานๆ ลืมบอกว่าเอาหวานๆ แต่ก็ได้อยู่นะ อร่อยคร่าาา

ราคาก็ไม่ได้แพงขนาดนั้น ทั้งหมดนี้แค่ สามร้อยกว่าบาทเองนะ มาลองกันได้นะ

บรรยากาศร้านดีมาก ตกแต่งได้น่านั่งทั้งวันเลย

เกินบรรยาย ลองสัมผัสด้วยตัวเองจะดีกว่าครับ ! อเมริกาโน่ร้อน...อร่อย , กาแฟน้ำผึ้งมะนาวก็เยี่ยม...และ...เจ้าของร้านภูมิใจนำเสนอเรื่องราวของร้าน ความเป็นมา การจัดวางของเก่า - ของสะสม ตู้ไม้เก่า หรือ โอ่งใส่น้ำใบเก่า ได้อย่างลงตัวมาก ๆ ...ครับ / แล้วผมจะกลับไปเยี่ยมอีก...ถ้ามีโอกาส ...จากพระนครศรีอยุธยาครับ :)
