Pupen Seafood Restaurant

I’ve been coming to the seafood restaurant since the place was really small, around 10 years ago or so. The food is just good as before. My all time favourite would have to be the crab fried rice, fried barramundi with sweet fish sauce, and the deep fried battered prawns. A good thing about the place is that there are so many tables so there should be a table available if you visit, but it’ll be best to call to reserve just to be safe!

The restaurant’s location is on the edge of the beach so it has a beautiful view.
Seafood are fresh and big with large portions but the flavors are bland if you eat raw. However, seasoning food are quite good.

Highly recommend this place. The food is very, yery nice. We went 4 times on our 5 night stay. It is a very busy place, the restaurant is huge, but we were always able to get a table for two without any waiting time. The deep fried shrimp cakes were a nice find and a pleasure to eat. The red curry with crab meat or on a seabass was very nice and is also highly recommended. Tom Yum Goon with young coconut is also one of our favorites.

Pupen Seafood offers a fantastic beachside dining experience. The beach view seating is simply stunning, creating the perfect atmosphere.

The seafood here is incredibly fresh, and the dishes are bursting with flavor. What's more, the food comes out surprisingly fast.

Amazing place. For someone forma cold country the fresh food this place have to offer is amazing. I love everything about it here. They can do better in the service department nothing major. The atmosphere can be a little noisy at time so if you want to e with a date in a white place mais sure to get there in a mess busy time.

Was looking for a local authentic and fresh seafood restaurant. Saw this place as the most rated spot so decided to try it.

Pupen was definitely worth the 20-30 minute drive from downtown Pattaya. The food is simply fantastic!! Really hit the spot.

The service is great but a bit slow. Our waiter was super friendly though and since it was quite busy, it’s understandable of the slow service.

We had so much food but I definitely want to go back and try more dishes.

When my friends visit Pattaya, i always suggest them to come here! 💞✨ Nice atmosphere for dinner. There is also live music band. They normally play thai song 🥰

For the service, it was alright. They are pretty busy everytime when i’m here. So the service is sometimes difficult to call. But! After you order, the food is pretty fast in my opinion and of course! Their food is super! 🦀🐟🐙🦐🦞🦑🦪✨

Must visit restaurant!! Best in Pattaya and whole Thailand. We visited plenty of restaurants in Phuket & Bangkok but this was a blast 💥

Seafood was amazing, they serve halal food (we asked only about the cheese topping the lobster), just in case we ordered everything grilled.

Shrimps were very delicious, we forgot to take pictures as we were so hungry and ate it all right away.

Lobsterssss were YYUUMMMMYYYY and crabs were really full of meat everywhere.

Nice live music was playing in the background.

Muscles we didn’t like so much as it was filled with garlic but no issues, the quality and atmosphere can make up for anything.

Don’t forget to order coconut ice cream 😉

Food is good and fresh with reasonable price. Food portion is quite big. Taste is ok as standard.

The food comes out quickly, the taste is delicious, the price is reasonable, the seafood is fresh. If you come during a festival or a long weekend , there will be a lot of people. Whatever flavor you want, you can order.

Not many waiter can speak english. Food is delicious and they have the separate desert cafe in the restaurant area. many parking lot

Pupen is my all-time favourite restaurant in Pattaya located on Jomtien beach specializing in seafood. Many kinds of seafood are available like crab, prawn, shell, muscle, cockle, lobster, and different types of sea fish; grouper, sea bass, king mackerel. It is very big restaurant which provides live seafood. Always serves tasty and fresh meal. Personal preference is to go on lunch or afternoon time as can walk in without queuing. It is super crowded in dinner time. Worth visiting place for great cooking seafood meal.

The regular must go seafood place in pattaya. Been here since childhood through many renovations. Still not disappoint. The food is insanely quick. The service is surprisingly on point considering the continuous constant stream of people arriving. That being said, better reserve your table way in advance or be prepared for a long wait or no choice but sitting out in the heat. AC room is limited seating.

Popular spot for both tourists and locals. Excellent seafood selection. We are not big eaters but we (1 lady, 2 men, 1 6yo) finished ten dishes.

I like the food here even the service is not quite good, but they try to service you all, have to patient in rush hour time. They serve fresh seafood ingredients which make a good food with great taste. I order prawn, clam, crab, fish all seafood.
I recommend you not come in a rush hour, there are crowd of visitors.

The ultimate seafood experience away from Pattaya and where the locals eat. To see fresh sea bass in an aquarium waiting to be cooked is amazing. One baht bus ride from walking street and you find yourself in a whole new world.
This will have to be once a week journey to eat at this restaurant.

Thai seafood restaurant that you must try when visit Pattaya. They have large seating space with private room are available. Usually have a long line for the seat during lunch and dinner especially in weekend also holiday. Reservation are recommended. They offer varieties of seafood dishes with fresh local ingredients.
