What an amazing place to visit. A truly stunning piece of architecture and art. They charge very little to get in here, the tour is very good although it does last quite a while, after getting the basics from our tour guide I preferred to walk around on my own, take in the beauty of it and take some pictures. How they build this place is simply amazing.

The Sanctuary of Truth Museum captivated me with its intricate wooden architecture, showcasing a harmonious blend of artistry and spirituality. The attention to detail in every carving left me in awe, reflecting a deep commitment to preserving cultural heritage. The sprawling premises offered a serene escape, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich Thai traditions. Knowledgeable guides enhanced the experience, providing insightful narratives about the symbolic significance of each structure. While the admission fee seemed justified, ensuring the site's maintenance and preservation, I found the souvenir prices a bit steep. Overall, a must-visit destination for those seeking cultural enlightenment amidst breathtaking craftsmanship.

Awesome place! Temple, fully made of wood without nails. Huge amount of details. Amazing woodwork! You should buy a ticket before 5pm. There is an excursion on two languages: English or Chinese. Also your clothes should hide knees, if not - you can take scarf for rent right there. Recommended!

Absolutely stunning, gorgeous museum that tells you about 7 truths of life. This giant structure is completely built by wood. Throughout the tour. you will gain a lot of knowledge, be it about museum, or the parts/type of wood used to construct it, the meaning of 7 truths of life and so on. The best part is you visit this place to see something beautiful but in return you not only happen to see Thai masterpiece and craftsmanship but also gain enormous knowledge!

I visited this place with help of a tour guide. If you wanted to visit in person it is 500 baht/person. Also, don't forget to dress appropriately. Per culture, the knees and shoulders should be covered or you can also borrow appropriate clothing for deposit of 200 baht. The deposit will be returned after you return the fabric. You also have multiple tours based on the language preference and the tour guides are simply amazing in their ability to communicate and provide context of each parts of the museum. In my opinion, it’s more of a temple than a museum.

Highly recommend and must visit if you are in Pattaya!

Excellent and must do visit place if you are in Pattaya. 2 hours minimum trip, but if you like you can spend 3-5 hours easily. Modest clothing is important or you can lend from there on 200 baht. No outside food or drink allowed, you can buy there on cheaper prices. Toilets and other essential facilities available. 500 baht entry fee, you can travel by taxi (100/-)or motor (35-45/-) from city. No need to book or buy tickets early. Tour guide comes with the entry fee. Seat there on the ground for a while after the guided tour, you will feel the scenic views.

This place was amazing! It's huge! In order to see the museum. You need to buy tickets to a tour guide. My time was at 9 am, I came at 830 am. At first there wasn't a lot of people but as time went on. Tour busses came. Once the tour starts. They will take you to a section where people are working making wooden sculptures. As the tour continues, you will head inside. It is amazing! You are so tiny compared to the museum. You can easily spend more than an hour looking at the art. There is art everywhere here.

A truly majestic wooden structure, what makes it unique is the requirement to wear a construction helmet upon entry. Visitors are initially guided through the construction area to witness the meticulous hand-carving process. Continuous maintenance and carving activities are ongoing, necessitating the use of safety helmets even inside the main hall. The entire building is constructed without the use of any nails; instead, it relies on traditional joinery, tenon-and-mortise, and wooden pegs. This construction method, is remarkably preserved here, presenting a spectacular sight.

Visitors also have the option to rent horse-drawn carriages or ride elephants around the building for admiration, priced at 400 NT dollars per person for a single ride or 800 NT dollars for two people on one elephant. The park also features a coffee terrace and a massage area for visitors to take a leisurely break.

500 baht/person, don't forget to dress appropriately - knees and shoulders covered, you can also borrow for deposit of 200 baht/piece textile coverage, deposit will be returned after you return the fabric.

Absolutely stunning, gorgeous museum teaching you about 7 truths. This museum is fully built from only wood, 400 year old wood! Details and knowledge everywhere, you come here with an intention of seeing something beautiful and unusual and you are gonna leave with knowledge and understanding, something what none can take from you, 7 truths are really "carved deep into this wooden museum" nearly a "temple".

First we were in an English group but after we went on our own exploration we met Russian group. All the rest of excursion we spent with them. The guy (the one in orange helmet on photos) was talking with an unbelievable passion, it was so interesting, he even made jokes. The feeling I had from the presentation from this guy was nothing but enchanted. There should more workers in the world like him, workers who have passion, enthusiasm and are really deeply interested in what they do, they are so rare, and this guy is one of them. So if you understand Russian language definitely go for the excursion with this guy.

If there is owner reading this review, I should say, well done, this was something breathtaking, 10/10 for the museum and 100/10 for the presentation from this guy.

The Sanctuary of Truth, situated in Pattaya, Thailand, is a unique and awe-inspiring cultural and religious structure. This intricately carved wooden temple is an ongoing construction that aims to embody traditional Thai craftsmanship and philosophy.

Built entirely from wood, the Sanctuary of Truth showcases detailed carvings and sculptures depicting themes from Hindu and Buddhist traditions, as well as Thai folklore. The temple's architecture reflects the ancient vision of heaven on earth.

Visitors can explore the various chambers and admire the detailed wooden craftsmanship that adorns the entire structure. The Sanctuary of Truth is not only a remarkable architectural marvel but also a cultural and philosophical journey through Thailand's rich heritage.

We had a beautiful visit to the Sanctuary of Truth! The place is spectacular, and the message is even more powerful! What a great vision underpinning the museum! The guides were extremely helpful and explaining the origin of the location and the message. The architecture is mind-boggling to think that the entire structure is made of wood without a single nail is something that you can only hear about in fiction ! Great place for photos! There are also many other activities included in on the premises. Such as the photo studio, horse rides, elephant rides, boating, etc. We did not visit the mini zoo, but that had only goats. Overall, it's a great place to spend half a day and to soak in the beauty of Pattaya.

Prepare to be mesmerized at the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya – a visual symphony that defies expectation. No photograph can capture the true essence; each glance reveals hidden details waiting to be discovered. Beyond its stunning exterior lies a profound concept that elevates the beauty of the structure itself. Dedicate a day to immerse yourself in this architectural wonder – an absolute must for an unforgettable trip. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

The place was very good. We went around the sunset time and it looked great in the evening too. Complementary guided tour helps understand the architecture and art pieces better. The museum is built around the 7 noble truths of life, internal architecture depicts that. It also contains the idols of Hindu gods like lord Vishnu, lord Ganesha, etc. They have built the whole museum by fitting the wood pieces together without using any nails. They show the area where people carve out the wood live. Guided tour lasts around 45 minutes, after that you are free to roam around and explore by yourself.

Please note that as of now, the last English guided tour before sunset happens at 5:00 PM and after sunset at 6:30 PM. Ticket price until 5:00 PM is 500 THB and after that is 700 THB. So plan accordingly. We had arrived at 5:10 PM but had to wait until 6:30 PM.

Beautiful place and a wonderful experience. Make sure you are dress Thai Temple appropriate. Pants below the knees, shirt covering exposed skin. Tights and biker shorts a no go.

Entry fee covers the tour. The tour is roughly 45 minutes. However you can do your own thing after you enter the Museum.

Sanctuary of Truth is a wooden giant structure filled with best scripture work all around and conveys the ways of living for human being. It does contains some stories of the Indian epic Ramayan, also earthly god representations and the tour guide helps us to understand the 6 truths of life. Not only that they will help us identify the owner of the museum intention of the structures why they are such way and it’s an incredible experience, must visit and if you love sculptures and love to explore epics, you would love to spend more time to understand them. They also show how this huge structure built without even using nails.. yes it’s amazing right .. visit to know more…

I give the Sanctuary of Truth structure 5 stars, but can't give this review 5 stars because of the confined animals they use for entertainment. The mini zoo in small gated areas and elephant rides just don't fit as the structure is beautiful on its own, especially with their conflicting philosophy on kindness, generosity, and taking care of others. This was an incredibly beautiful and ornate wooden structure that is still under construction. It was neat to see the continuing wood work that helped create this marvel, but that meant everyone needed a hard hat while in or near the structure. The entry was based on guided tour groups (THB 500 each, no discounta, and 5% fee to use credit card). English was offered about every 20 minutes, but I also noted that there were limited groups for Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Thai. Of course private tour guy it's could take their own groups in as well. We had to wait until our entry time with a tour guide to go into the structure, but they shared the philosophy of the seven truths and gave a brief tour around the building. Then we were free to explore on our own and take photos. There was a tall staircase to descend to the structure, but mobility assistance was offered with a van ride down to the structure, an elevator to the main floor, and free wheelchairs to use while there.

One of the greatest architectural masterpieces I've seen. The sanctuary of truth is an awe-inspiring work of art that truly celebrates Thailand's diversity of cultural heritage and religious influences. It shows the nation promotes its traditional values of kindness and virtue with far more than simple lip service. Here Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism/Taoism, and even Islam and Sikhism are given equal respect, along with reminders of both the blessings we receive and the duties we owe to our family and society. Simply being inside this place makes me want to be a better person.

Guided tours in many languages come with the ticket, definitely take advantage of it to understand the deep meanings behind the temple museum's many murals and sculptures.

The most amazing temple I've seen by far! It's entirely made of wood and heavily decorated, ticket price is 700Baht but you will quickly realize that it's worth every penny!

A great place to visit at Pattaya. The architecture is outbid the world and knowing it’s made of wood is really fascinating.

They have a workshop to update, repair and renovate the temple and there are a lot of people working to maintain this temple.

To know more it’s better to visit with the guides as they have slots in all languages and this tour of the temple takes close to a hour. The place is well maintained and beautiful.

Carriage or horse drawn vehicles takes visitors around for a cost and toilets are in place and so is a cafe to take care in case you need to snack or drink.

Visitors wearing Dresses above knees are not permitted inside, however you can hire a garment like a lungi and wear it to the temple by paying a deposit which is refunded once you return the garment.

Take your time and enjoy going through the interiors of the temple.

Stay safe !

This is a must see. The carvings are stunning and all have deep meaning: morality tales, philosophy, cosmology, history. It's still a work in progress with work actively being done on site. No metalwork, all joins and fastening are made from wood, some quite ingenious.

There are regular tours in a range of languages; they are (necessarily) very cursory covering as much as possible in 45mins. You should take plenty of time to relax and contemplate the works. I would like to have spent a couple of hours but we were on a tour, so time was limited :(.
