Whenever you go to Chinatown/ Yaowarat Bangkok, you will be enthralled by the rows and rows of Chinese speciality shops - gold, herbs and of course. Bird’s nest. 🤭
We had the wild birdnest - which is more yellow in color, compared to the farmed ones which are white. It is served with soft egg, gingko and wild honey. I would suggest to eat it plain - so it’s original flavors and textures can be appreciated. Before adding the other condiments. Once added, the whole dish becomes another dessert, and you do lose a little bird nest quality to it. But still, extremely delicious.
Then we had some shark’s fin. We ordered one of the larger pieces for 2500baht. And it was as big as the claypot itself. It was cooked to perfection in the flavorsome soup. The shark’s fin isnt like “tang hoon” in normal Chinese restaurants, but instead, served whole, very tender and slightly springy.
Then we ended with a bowl of iced Gingko nuts - a little too sweet. So we asked for extra ice to dilute it. The nuts were fresh, tender and super flavorful.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience. It is very indulgent, very extra.
(While i understand the plights of shark finning, and this is my first shark’s fin in over 15 years, i believe there should be a balance between our cause and action. )
✨ Overall Score: 10/10 ✨

Quality and tasty bird nest and shark's fin dishes. All the condiments provided were fresh and generous. Especially liking the gingko nuts for the bird nest. For the egg, did not like putting a raw egg into my bird nest, but whipped it into the shark's fins instead.

Probably one of the best meal we had in Bangkok. Prices are not cheap but definitely worth every penny! Bird nest and the shark fin soup are the must-tries, but you might want to skip the fish maw.

It was our first experience with Birds Nest. We took the 500 Baht soup and it was really interesting sweetie taste. We really enjoyed the Shark fin soup (and the mushrooms in it), also the dried fish salad was interesting experience. The place is a bit pricey compared to food stalls around, we paid around 1500 por bird nest, shark fin, dried fish salad and fried rice, but it was cool experience and worth the money.

I ordered 500 ฿ Bird’s Nest that served with ginkgo, honey, egg. The taste of soup was not too sweet and I enjoyed it

We came to this bird nest shop for 3 days in a row. It is near Wat Mangkon MRT Exit 1, so it’s quite easy to find. They offer three different prices of bird nest, 200, 300 and 500 Baht.
On the first day, I ordered takeaway for the 200 Baht. They prepared and poured the bird nest nicely into a container and it also came with ginkgo nuts and honey. I feel for people who just want to try the taste of bird nest, the 200 Baht one is good enough.
The next day I dined in and ordered 300 Baht. The bird nest flakes are larger than the 200 Baht version and taste better.
I went back again on the third day to buy their canned bird nest. They are selling one box of six at 600 Baht. I will definitely go back to this shop when I am in Yaowarat. I kind of regret buying just one box of canned bird nest, probably should have bought more. This is a decent place for people who are interested in bird nest.

Thailand is Famous for its Birdnest, a delicacy known to be good for the health and finesse
(Made from Bird's saliva , the cleaner one without feather are more expensive )
We tried a medium price type
Serve warm and to add more potency, we add a half boiled egg to it yummmy
Price is not cheap as its a delicacy

A personal favorite of my. Having literally savored every single shop in Chinatown, this is the one shop that I will keeping returning to every evening when in country. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best quality on offer at every price range.

Second time back here for the bird’s nest. The boss was very friendly and patient in explaining the different type of bird’s nest we could order. Totally made the entire experience worth it.
We ordered 2 farmed bird’s nest and 2 wild bird’s nest to try. I personally like the wild one better.
If you are looking to try and experience bird’s nest, give this place a go.

Was there last Monday. Great dessert after seafood dinner. Ordered 300baht bird’s nest, it was served with iced drink, honey, gingko nuts and soft boiled egg. The lady at the counter suggested to put the egg into the bird nest. And it turns out to be super silky and smooth! Gingko nuts was a little bitter, so I made sure each piece was coated with honey before popping into my mouth. It’s a little pricey for a dessert as compared to my 260 baht dinner a street away. But it’s birds’ nest after all, right?! 👍🏻

Friendly and helpful staff. The serving is enough and in every spoonful, you can taste the bird nest. We ordered the white bird nest and the taste is good enough for us. The shop is air conditioned and comfortable enough. Will come back again if I am back in Bangkok.

We tried the 500 baht each for both the coconut and milk version and both are nice. It was an exquisite experience and adding the honey to the milk makes it even better.
Was initially expecting egg but reckon it is only for the rock sugar version. Nice gesture for them to serve free flow tea and the tea is nice.

Novel delicacy at great prices. They give eggs or syrup on the side to enhance flavour of birds nest soup.

Not a consumer of bird's nest typically but this was delicious. Got the cheapest grade just to try (200baht) and honey and gingko nuts were given to complement the dessert. Good choice for after-dinner desserts.

Quality bird's nest dessert if you're into it. Definitely cheaper than most places!

Their bird nest ranged from ฿300 - ฿2000. Staffs speaks fluent Mandarin there & the young boss there speaks very fluent English (just back from studying in the US) so ordering was a breeze. Went for the ฿500 bird nest & it was really yummy. They also serve free flow tea. Bird nest come with an egg, gingko nuts & honey (to sweeten up the bird nest. We ended up only adding the honey & gingko nuts since we aren't used to adding the egg as well (Thais like that according to the young boss). A very friendly place which is normally crowded with tourists & locals alike. Would be back again the next time I'm around the area. Recommended!
