Dinner with Thai classical dance show. The dining room has exquisite decoration and murals similar to those in Thai palace. Also, the dining place is situated next to the Chaopraya river. We had the set menu which are super delicious although not big portion. There are shows during the two hour dinner, of high quality dance and Thai classical live music. Recommended for visitors aa D locals who would like a special dining.

Probably the best meal/experience we had during our four day business trip to Bangkok.
We were seated at a table outside overlooking the river and had a wonderful night of delicious food, excellent service, and delightful ambience.

The seared/fried sea bass is an absolute must have!
The complimentary amuse bouche and scoop of coconut ice cream for dessert were a lovely touch. They also had an excellent wine list (rare for that part of the world) and for the first time on that trip I enjoyed some wonderful wine that really complemented the delicious food.

Will make a point to return on future trips!

ICONSIAM s not just a Mall. Is a place where you will find art in each corner. The view to the Chaopraya river is astonishing. In the ground floor you will find the different dishes and clothes represented and copying the typical province houses.
In the 6th floor in a water fountain show not to be missed.

A fabulous experience. Food was different and flavorful. Service was outstanding. Each person on our table of 3 had different spice requirements, allergies etc but they got it right through all the courses. Lovely ambience, and the thai dances were the icing on the cake.

A truly unique dining experience at the terrace. We ordered a la carte menu for dinner. Everything was so good! Especially the dumplings appetizer and the roasted duck. Although it’s a little bit pricey, but totally worth it if you are looking for a exquisite Thai dining experience. Just remember to wear trousers, so you don’t get bitten by the mosquitoes...

We are in the terrace rim naam which is outside and had the tasting menu. Amazing atmosphere, fun watching the busy river and awesome food. Last are here 23 years ago and worried it might spoil great memories but my fears were groundless. Yes the food is pricey but the whole experience of the shuttle boat to cross the river from the hotel to tiny little cakes served in a mini dresser with coffee was magical. I have whole new set of memories that will live for over 20 years and how many meals can you say that about?

A delightful restaurant by the river, one of the most romantic setting around. The food is excellent and of course a little pricey (It's mandarin Oriental, remember?) but it's a real treat. The indoor part with the Thai dancing is a bit too touristy so stick to the terrace, but book in advance to make sure you get the right table!

This is a very good traditional Thai restaurant with superb decorations run by the Hotel Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and situated on the opposite bank of The Hotel . You can reach here by the free shuttle ferry from the pier of the hotel or the pier near the Safhan Taksin BTS station . For dinner , if you choose to sit inside the restaurant Sala Rim Naam , then you can watch the free traditional Thai dancing show as well as enjoying the delicious and beautiful dishes from the set menu with air-con ( you can only order the dinner set menu at 2450 Baht per head plus 10% service charge and 7% VAT) . If you choose to sit outside the restaurant ( The Terrace Rim Naam ) on the terrace to enjoy the river breeze and the night river view for dinner then you can order from the a la carte menu but can't watch the Thai dancing shows which is only available in the evening .
Here you can be served with excellent service from the point you are in the shuttle ferry to the welcoming counter on the pier of the restaurant to the reception to....till you board the return shuttle ferry . The dishes are delicious and the shows are brilliant! Worth a try when you are in Bangkok!

An amazing place close to the magnificent Chao Praya, one of the best service in the world, super fine and authentic food, to enjoy definitively visiting the City of Angels. Mandarin is great place everywhere in the world, see Jakarta and Paris!
