Very near to everywhere especially for you who wanna visit iconsiam.
I love the minimalist concept of this place.

I consider this hotel affordable and the staff are friendly!

The room is spacious and also the bathroom.

Awesome location in BKK, super affordable, cool minimal room design & friendly front desk staff. The surrounding hotels are 5 times the price per/night, so this is a good one if you’re on a budget or just don’t care about having a pool, room service etc! Would absolutely stay here again ❤

Great location 11 minute walk from Icon Siam, and two restaurants we ate at. The staff were lovely and there is a washer dryer on site for guests to use. The rooms were clean, the shower huge. We downloaded the Bolt app to get taxis around Bangkok or used the river taxi from Icon Siam. Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Nice hotel located just around 3-5-minute walk from Iconsiam. The room is in good condition, clean, and quiet. The staff are friendly (they speak only English, no Thai), and the WiFi is fast.

Stayed at Varmtel for 6 nights. Excellent, will definitely come back again.

We are having a great time staying at Varmtel, the room is bigger than some of chain hotels, staffs are friendly. Minimal style and chic super clean

Recommendations: would be nice if they sell drink at the front desk or a drink vending machine

Great little place that's very centrally located in the heart of the city by the river. It's small, intimate and friendly. It has a very industrial chic feel about it. The rooms feel basic but there is everything you need in them. Toiletries, fridge, water, amazing bed. And it's a big room for Bangkok.

Secret gem in Bangkok! Modern and very clean rooms with extremely comfortable beds and great showers in a quiet area. They provide daily room service and new towels, free laundry service, free water and coffee. Early check-in and late check-out was possible with no extra charge. The location is close to ICONSIAM shopping center and the ferry service. Thank you so much for our pleasant stay!

Enjoyed my stay here! It’s located in a local neighborhood so it’s very low key. It’s very peaceful and quiet which was perfect for me. The bedding and room are very comfortable. The manager and staff are very nice and welcoming. It is a 10 min walk to ICONSIAM and also a 10 min walk to Krung Thon Buri BTS station (have to cross a busy road which is a bit intimidating). I would recommend staying here.

Everything is beyond my expectation. Such a great hostel with a reasonable price. The room is clean & nice with a good-quality bed mattress & sheets. The hostel is located nearby the Icon Siam department store (in a walking distance), with a convenient store located at the front of the alley. Totally recommended!

Bright, minimalist designed and quiet hotel close to Iconsiam. The staffs are so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended and definitely rebook next time we visit Bangkok. P.s: there are many cat-neighbours there 🥰

Lovely big clean room at a good price in a good location. Nice and quiet and just down the road from ICONSIAM. I recommend making use of the river ferry and tuctucs.

We really enjoyed our stay at Varmtel. +1 to the other reviews - it is a hidden gem! Super clean, located on a quiet street, strong air conditioning, friendly staff, great price, and ~10min walk from the train. Would recommend!

WOW where do I start?
1. GREAT and helpful staff
2. Room and place so clean you can eat off the floor
3. Decor = minimalist, simple and stylish
4. Location, LOCATION, location = GREAT with lots to do without going too far
5. Sits on a SUPER quiet street, but is only a few blocks from ICOM SIAM (google it)
6. 5 Baht boat which takes you along the LONG river to many great sites (get a map in reception)
7. A class of it's own
Just do it and pat yourself on the back for making a GREAT choice. Wish one could give more than 5 stars.....ENJOY!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Varmtel Hotel . It's everything the many positive reviews have raved about, and the service by its small staff is top-notch. However, it no longer serves breakfast (although there's freshly brewed coffee in the dining hall after 8.30am) but there's plenty of great options of piping hot, freshly cooked local food, sweet and hot Thai tea & cappuccino, etc a mere 5-minute walk out to the main road. Or, if one fancies an awesome - and expensive - buffet breakfast, Peninsular Hotel is just a 5 minute walk away. Varmtel's location is perfect because it's situated along a nondescript quiet street but is very close to ICONSIAM, which offers many wonderful food & shopping options. Varmtel also allows easy access to the hop-on-hop-off river shuttle that allows one to visit some of Bangkok's most iconic attractions (Chinatown, Wat Arun, Flower Street, Asiatique, etc) for just 150b, minus the chaos and stress of traffic jams. And best of all, the hotel is wonderfully priced for all that it offers.

This hotel is amazing. Located in a busy area the street it’s directly in is super quiet. Helpful sweet people work there. The ferry is close by so you can hop on and of in Bangkok. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Nice, clean rooms and friendly staff! Stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed it alot!! They clean the rooms everyday -- and sooo clean!

It is located in a strategic area too. Not so far from icon Siam mall yet it is little bit further inside to a local housing which makes this place is quiet in the nights!

Breakfast option is only sausages, eggs and bread. But at times, they provide fruits. Coffee and tea is there for you to enjoy 24 hour.

Simple hotel but everything you might need for a short trip. Great location, clean (the staff cleaned and replaced the towels daily), and super affordable. Will absolutely be back
