The Companion Hostel

An amazing hostel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. While nice and quiet, the location was a little far away from most (tourist) attractions in the city, even when taking the subway - about 30 minutes to get to the city centre in Siam. There are two 711s in walking distance and a few restaurants, but the kitchen amenities of the hostel are very nice as well.

I had a fantastic stay at the Companion. Check in and check out was very easy. The room was incredibly spacious, which gave us plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. The interior design was nice with a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and functionality. We were provided everything we needed. It was a delightful experience can't wait to return.

Aesthetics are so pleasing and one of the best places to stay in the region. Worth the money and clean rooms available.

There's a beautiful couple at the entrance who's ready to welcome you into their home without any ego.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here; the private room was nothing short of stunning, very spacious, clean, and - like the rest of the building - extremely stylish. The mattresses were the best we slept on out of anywhere we stayed in Thailand. The owners are just wonderful: very helpful and conscientious, they put a lot of effort into making guests feel at home, whilst still always coming across as natural and easygoing.
The location is great too: a short walk away from BTS Skytrain, yet tucked away in a quiet side street, and there are a lot of interesting things to explore in the surrounding area.
We'd really love to come back one day!

Great place! Owner lives inside, so you're always guided and cared of. Location is near BTS Train station - for some extent frees you from Bangkok awful traffic jams.
Room I stayed in were clean, bright and spacious. I had everything I need for comfortable stay (fan, towels, wardrobe and so on).
The owner also can guide you through the city, play games with you. All recommendations worked for us!
The biggest advantage for us the common areas (kitchen, books in English, games).

Reception was very welcoming and the hostel was very clean and modern. There was free snacks, coffee and tea. The social areas have books, Netflix, and travel guides. The dorm has curtains on each bed, as well as amazing AC! The location was right next to the sky train station, which was super convenient. Supermarkets next door as well.

A nice and comfortable hostel in a central area close to public transport and many sight seeing activities. The dorm beds feel like small private rooms due to the curtains and the small wall next to the head. I normally need a hotel room once in a while to get well rested but this hostel does the trick. Personnel is very friendly and the breakfast isn't your normal breakfast(see the picture). If you don't want to go to a party hostel and you want an offordable bed I would surely recommend The Companion.

What a lovely hostel and lovely people who run the place. Loved staying here felt very at home. The hostel was lovely and clean and modern but still had a really homely vibe. So close to all of the temples, nightlife etc. Will be back again when I come back to Bangkok! Wish I could rate this place more then 5 stars.

Me and my friend stayed here in November, we booked a private room with en suit on the ground floor.
Our experience here was amazing! The staff are so friendly! Erk and Gigg could not of been more helpful if they tried! one night they gave us a lift when we struggled to get a car, they were full of knowledge and always around to help us map out our daily activities and advise us on the best things to do in Bangkok.
If for some reason they were not around we were able to contact them through whats app and they were very fast at replying!
The location was great, at the end of the street is the train station and plenty of tuk tuks coming by the hostel regularly.

The facility's in the hostel were great our room was huge! everywhere is super clean! I would definitely visit again!

The Companion Hostel was the best Hostel I have stayed in so far it was incedably clean and the owners were the nicest. They really wanted you to have an amazing time in Thailand. They gave us Maps and Tips for everything and it was so easy to find my way around town because of that. Also the Beds are really big and comfortable, th AC is great and the toilets and showers are also very clean! It takes maximum 15 minutes to get into town by BTS and Boat, so it really is the perfect place to stay if you want to be at a calm place which is close to town! To get to Khao San is also only 100 baht max or so! Great stay at a great Hostel I will be back for sure.

The room is very nice and offers everything needed. The bath is great compared to other places in bangkok. There is fast Wifi for free and we you can even have a small breakfast there. The lady at the reception was really friendly and helped us a lot the plan our stay.

great owners who are interested in your experiences and engage you and suggest places and things to do depending on what you're looking for. clean and stylish. staying here was a great memory for me. if you're going to bangkok stay here!

The owners were lovely. They brought us, along with a few of the other guests to a local restaurant. They were always so patient to answer all our questions and keen to help. They also introduce the new guests to existing guests, which I thought was very thoughtful and great.

Best place to stay in Bangkok, you have free cookies, bread and bananas, the place is clean and cozy. For directions, the staff is always willing to help you.

Great value for money! Hosts were very accommodating of our requests. Will definitely come back!

A beautiful, clean and peaceful setting with such lovely and helpful people. A little out of the way of the city centre but this area still has so much to offer.
