I had the most enchanting experience at this historical hotel by the river. The ambiance is truly one-of-a-kind, with its well-preserved charm and stunning garden that adds to its beauty. The hotel's unique setting offers a serene retreat that feels like stepping back in time.

What made my stay even more memorable was the special event the hotel arranged with such attention to detail. It was executed flawlessly, guess I will have to come there every year now

I must also mention the delightful K Atom the manager and Star! The Cat assistant manager, I'm sure Madam Star will have a bright future in the hotel management business.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!

Probably the most exclusive venue for weddings, important celebrations, corporate events and important business dinners in Bangkok. We celebrated our wedding there.
The property is so steeped in history and the whole atmosphere is absolutely unique. We looked at various 5-star hotels before the wedding, but no hotel can compete with this location. The only limitation is the number of guests. I suspect it will be tight from 120.
The hotel has 4 suites and 3 rooms. The breathtaking suites and rooms are very stylishly furnished with antiques. The hotel is located directly on the Chao Phraya river and has a beautiful pool. The whole location feels like a hidden oasis in bustling Bangkok. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. The hotel manager is absolutely unique!
The restaurant is highly recommended. We were there for dinner a few months before the wedding and were absolutely impressed by their authentic Thai food. We could tell all dishes were freshly prepared with only high quality ingredients. Locally produced wine from Thai vineyard was also available for selection which suited well with the dishes.
The hotel also has a beautiful historic speed boat that you can hire for excursions on the Chao Phraya. This is also highly recommended.
We are in Bangkok every year and will spend the first few days in this hotel in the future.
About the history:
The estate was built in 1907 by the then Crown Prince Chakrabongse, as he fell in love with a Russian woman during his training at the Tsar's court, whom he then married. He thus left the succession of the throne and built his own "small" palace by the river. The current owner is a descendant of Prince Chakrabongse and probably lives half the year in the main building and the other half in England. As already mentioned, I can't imagine a more exclusive location for a wedding. It was an absolutely unique experience for our guests. Thank you so much for that!!!

I would say this is certainly not 5-star luxury or anything, but it was clean, cozy, and certainly a great location if you want to check out the grand palace (easy walking distance). The staff was super friendly, and the food experience (breakfast) was wonderful!

Would easily recommend this for a stay in Bangkok!

Once you step in and the gate closes behind you it feels like you’re a world away from everything and everyone else.
The staff are friendly and professional.
The rooms are stylish and unique.
The restaurant has a beautiful water view and the food is delicious.
Swimming in the pool at night is relaxing and you can sit in the pool whilst listening to the waves from the river on the other side of the wall.
The grounds are immaculately kept and all that is in eyes view is stunning.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Bangkok.

Outstanding, deserves 6 out of 5 stars, also compared to other 5* hotels in Bangkok.
Dinner is expensive but almost a must have, small and very exclusive location with outstanding food and service located directly at riverfront

Absolutely loved our stay. Fantastic family story - bought the book. Atom and Om were the best hosts and our baby was very well looked after by all the friendly staff. The room is lovely with very authentic finish. The restaurant is sublime and we felt very lucky to be there.

Great gardens, rooms and location. The White Mouse Cafe is a cute Cafe annex with old aeronautical theme. Very good coffee, some nice pastry and cozy ambience.

What an amazing experience! Waking up and having breakfast at the borders of the Chao Phraya River. 19800baht for one night in the suite is maybe expensive, but worth it. An unforgettable memory!

We ran a 3-hour workshop at the riverside function room. The view and life on the Chao Phraya River was magnificent. The Thai snacks and refreshments were delicious. The staff also have great knowledge of the historic area. Loved the experience.

Nice and quiet place. Staff are really friendly and polite. We truly enjoyed an hour private boat ride on Chao Praya River. Thai dinner set was really nice as well - especially with Wat Arun view. Love this place and will not hesitate to come back!!

A great dining experience with the restaurant at the banks of Chao Praya River. The dining room has doors that open out to a balcony where outdoor dining is just as interesting. The soft river breeze adds to the cooling with the overhead fan. One can see the water swish up the embankment and many types of river boats go up and down the river creating a lot of activity.
The restaurant serves a set menu of Thai food that was absolutely delicious. Presentation of the dishes were very artistically done. Service was very good with very attentive staff. Booking has to be made online in advance. A very exclusive place for dinner.

Mr. Ohm and his team know what hospitality means. What a great stay, amazingly relax and energising, in the heart of Bangkok. You wouldn't expect this hidden gem here next to the river. They make you feel extremely welcome, the rooms are great, the food and the views over the river fantastic, a salt water pool and an unmatched attention to detail. We will be back!

A beautiful, authentic Thai oasis on the Bangkok riverfront. Boasts a world-class restaurant, flower gardens, a lovely pool, and amazing Chao Phraya views. Our favorite stay in Bangkok.

Infinitely refined hotel with the sort of professional waiting service that is just hard to find now days. If you stay you just look out for a young man about the place. Domi, he's one of the owners and is always available for a long amiable conversation about any subject. Simply charming.
