Five Star Thailand | Phi Phi Island Tour

Stellar reviews online led me to Five Star Thailand Tours and I’m so glad they did! I knew I would prefer a private tour rather than a group experience. If you’re able to book private I would highly suggest it! The amount of tourists in the Phi Phi Islands can be overwhelming so having a personalized tour was a huge plus. Our day intentionally started a bit rough - the water was very rough to the point of seasickness and the crowds at popular spots were overwhelming. Important note - we booked a speed boat and thank Buddha we did because a long tail boat would have been even worse. We shared this with Rut, our tour guide, and she immediately worked with the crew to change our itinerary to be more to our tastes - finding space and beauty away from the crowds. She was constantly checking in to make sure we were okay and we had an incredible day! We went to quieter spots and were able to snorkel and swim. I’m so thankful they worked around our preferences! Rut was also a fabulous camera woman - she knew all the right angles and spots. Check out some of the shots in the review. We ended the day with an incredible sunset. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had the best experience on the private speedboat tour. Boom our guide as well as the amazing crew and Thai hospitality. The assistance for my older mother was amazing. Seeing Maya Bay, the monkeys as well as natural beauty of the islands. Snorkelling with so many fish. Boom made the day a truly amazing experience. I would recommend anyone to take a day and truly enjoy yourselves and create so many memories.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise trip. Captain Jack and Rut were outstanding! We were very well look after. The trip was very well managed even though there were some rough seas.

We had a very nice private tour from Rut. She is a very kind person and has a lot of knowledge about the area. The most exciting thing for us was the snorkeling which was included, where we saw a small shark! Furthermore we had a great breakfast and lunch that were included with the tour, as well as some fruits. Overall a very great experience to visit all the beautiful places around Phi Phi Islands, would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing and magical day ever! Our guide Boom met us at the boat terminal and made special arrangements so that our handicapped son was able to get on the speedboat carefully and comfortably with his walking scooter. She was caring, fun, knowledgeable and very well organized. The tour on the long tail boat was perfect. We went to several of the most beautiful spots, swam, snorkled, got to see and feed monkeys, and had lunch at a fantastic spot with breathtaking views. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone that wants a more personalized experience away from the crowds. It was worth every penny and more!

We had a blast on this private tour!! Poom was such a great travel guide! I absolutely recommend and I suggest requesting Poom! His English was so good and he was so thorough in explaining things and getting us around. He was helpful, diligent, and so fun! He took so many good pictures of us too!! 10/10 recommend! Definitely do this instead of a large boat!

What an amazing experience, having Love as our tour guide made the experience even more special. Love is so kind and knowledgeable about the beautiful islands, and he even took us to a secluded beach where my wife and I got to experience a beautiful and unique sunset. So much more worth it having a private boat, because everything is based on your schedule and needs. This is the place to go for your honeymoon or any intimate trip! I could not have recommended it more, and I am looking forward to coming back and experiencing it again

We spent the day with Poom and it was an excellent adventure! Not only did he show us the amazing Phi Phi, he was articulate and educated us on our trip. He came with excitement, introduced us to the culture and people, and we really enjoyed our time.

This trip was worth every penny and we will be sure to book again on our next trip.

We had a boat between 4 and the flexibility this afforded was appreciated although in reality there are only 3 or 4 areas to go. We went in early March and the beach from ‘the Beach’ is ridiculously crowded with no swimming for environmental reasons but it was still possible to grab a pic or two , our guide was Poom who was very knowledgable and helpful as well as attentive. Lunch is in a local restaurant and was very nice.

Poom is an incredible guide! We went to the best places in Phi Phi and he showed us some quieter spots during a busy day. He was knowledgeable and professional. The tour could not have been better. Truly the highlight of our trip. We almost booked a group tour until we found this private tour and I’m so glad we did!

This tour was our favorite part of our whole 2 week vacation! My husband and I had such an amazing time, largely due to our guide, Boom! Boom was so knowledgeable and friendly. She personalized the tour to our needs and interests. This was a great experience through and through. We are so glad we did this. Booked the private tour on longboat with my wife and our guide Poom provided us an amazing tour of the Phi Phi islands. He gave us amazing insight of the islands, history and photo recommendations (good spots, poses, angles). Five star Thailand tours was more than what we expected and Poom definitely exceeded that expectation. He'll keep your options open and will be flexible on your schedule. My favorite has been swimming in the water and seeing the monkeys.

We had a fantastic tour with Five Star Thailand. Our guide Poom was amazing and took us to the best snorkeling spots. The trip can be entirely customised according to your preference and they will take you to the spots you want to visit. We had the best snorkeling experience with amazing visuals of lots of beautiful coral, colorful fish and even black tipped reef sharks. We were taken to a beautiful ocean view restaurant for lunch and truly had a memorable experience. Highly recommend Five Star Thailand and our guide Poom for being so helpful and hospitable.

We had an amazing time! Big thanks to Boom for arranging our entire tour. Everything was very well planned. The Islands suggested by her was beautiful. Boom was very cheerful and friendly we enjoyed having her company throughout our entire tour. Will definitely book her again if i ever come back to Phuket for another vacation. Highly recommend!

Poom was such an excellent guide, he made the entire trip! He was so fun and helpful and made sure we had an amazing trip. If you can request Poom you absolutely should. He is such a welcoming and kind person, who navigated everything with such skill. Also he’s really smart, with a bright future! A great representation of the lovely Thai people. All the spots he took our family to were so naturally stunning and beautiful. Thank you to the entire crew from the Spinner family! Highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend this company for your longboat tour. We did a private longboat tour on our honeymoon trip which was worth the price. I noticed we were one of the few long boats with both a tour guide and a driver. A lot of them only had the driver. Rut our tour guide was amazing. She always made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. She explained everything to us as we went along which we loved cause we learned a lot from her. She got some awesome photos for me, I was able to just take in the whole day while she made sure it was all documented for me. She asked us if there was anything we really wanted to do and adjusted the trip to our liking. I also felt like she knew where to take us where it wasn’t quite as crowded which was nice. The stop for lunch at the local restaurant was delicious and the fresh fruit was a nice perk as well! We were lucky enough to see a ton of sharks and had a beautiful sunset! Highly recommend!
