Khao Sok Riverside Cottages

We enjoyed the whole experience very much. The Riverside Cottages was amazing! The rooms, the garden, the staff, everything was perfect. We had a great time during the kayaking. The boys showed us a lot of animals that otherwise we would have missed, they made us amazing bamboo cups for coffee, and were very polite and nice. We loved our trip to the floating bungalows. The rooms exceeded our expectations! We did kayaking, we swam, we went to a jungle hike, and mist safari, and all of them was amazing! Our guide was wonderful! He was fun, he showed us and shared with us a ton of interesting things. We thank the whole team and we appreciate their efforts to give us this amazing experience and to support the community and the nature!

Close to the jungle experience. During the night you can hear the sound of the wildlife and see lizards running around. In the morning you can rest on the balcony and observe monkeys playing on the trees. The food at the hotel restaurant was good. The staff is very nice and keen to help.

Stay was very nice, the whole setup was build near a river and in jungle.

You will surely going to love the place if you want to be in a quiet environment.

The staff were informative and helpful in organising a taxi to the airport.

If you get the option i would recommend the water kayaking, its a wonderful experience.

We had a great trip to Khao Sok Riverside Cottages. We booked a 2-day package in advance from home and the whole communication before our trip was already great. Our positive impression continued throughout our stay. The staff at the cottages and the tour guides were very friendly and shared all their knowledge with us. We had a great canoe trip and our jungle hike included bathing in a waterfall. The cottages were kept simple, but with all necessities and very clean. You could hear the jungle noises all night and it was very special. I wished we had stayed a night longer and also gotten to experience the famous lake. Thanks to everyone you made this trip special.

Beautiful location in the jungle with the river at your doorstep. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Food amazing as well. All tours provided by or organised by the resort and looked after well. Great stay!

Perfect for nature lovers. Very luscious green forests around... very common to find biiiig lizards in your balcony. Good staff..m very clean place... earthy aesthetic! Restaurant has good food ( not the best, but good) ...It's a lil far from town but they provide free ride to town once a day so it's great.

I recently stayed at the Riverside Cottages in Khao Sok as part of their Riverside & Rafthouse package, which included a 3-day, 2-night Khao Sok Lake Package with 1 night at Riverside Cottages and 1 night at Floating Bungalows. Overall, the experience was amazing.

The houses are located in the middle of the jungle, but the amenities here are great! The beds were comfortable, and the interior design of the houses was really impressive - it added to the overall experience. The food was also fantastic.

On the first day, we went on a canoe trip, which turned out to be an unexpected and really nice experience. Instead of rowing ourselves, smiling and helpful locals rowed the canoes and shared lots of interesting information about the local nature. We even spotted two snakes on the trees and saw lots of birds! Later, we went on a night safari in the jungle, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We saw many wild animals such as slow lorises, sleeping monkeys, big spiders and tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, and geckos, as well as colorful birds. I highly recommend this activity.

The next day, we visited Khao Sok National Park and slept in a rafthouse, which was another great experience with many activities available. After a night there, we returned to Riverside Cottages to collect our baggage, and they helped us arrange transport to Phuket at a good price.

Overall, I highly recommend Riverside Cottages in Khao Sok. The middle-of-the-jungle location, great amenities, fantastic food, and a variety of activities made this a truly unforgettable experience.

Absolutely loved my stay at Kao Sok Riverside cottages! The rooms were delightful. No aircon but excellent fans and the area is cooler at night anyway. The food was fantastic. The staff were spot on helpful and friendly. Our bamboo-cooking meal was a fabulous event with lovely staff. Our trips they organised were fabulous and even a quick lift into the village was problem.
No card payments but just be ready to pay cash.
Cannot recommend more highly. I really didn’t want to leave. 😊

Very nice and quiet little jungle ‘resort’ with smiling and helpful staff. Place were you feel at home instantly. Cottages are spacious and clean and shower was hot J! but expect some little visitors as you are in the jungle. Nothing scary, just close your klamboe at night. The sounds around the place are magical, just nature. We all, family of 5, all slept very well.

Good food and drinks and you can book all activities directly with the staff including lake trips. Prices are very reasonable.

Book here and you support the local community, from what we have seen the staff is treated with respect and is very capable. Younger people are trained by the experienced ones and there are enough hands around so no stress. They had fun together and were very nice with the guests as well. Good vibe, well done!

Very good value for money in a lovely jungle/riverside setting. The food in the restaurant is excellent so no need to travel into the Khao Sok village to eat. The rooms are rustic and you may get a few creepy crawlies inside, but there are mosquito nets and the beds are comfortable. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle at night.

Amazing service and people. We had some problems with the river and they were super helpful and really nice people. Very close to nature. Beautiful views. Would recommend 100%

We had such a wonderful time here in Khao Sok. The staff were wonderful in making our stay so magical. It really is staying in the jungle! Our favourite parts were the river tubing and night safari! The staff at the hotel are so friendly and the food there is really good too!
You have to get a lift in the car if you want to go to the area with all the shops and hostels and restaurants and things but we didn't bother when we were there, we were happy to enjoy nature and no signal for a couple of days! Thank-you so much!

Wonderful time staying in this cozy hotel in the jungle. Outstanding staff and very accommodating. So many great tours and activities offered during the stay. We went to hot springs and went on a full day hike to a cave. Everything just worked so smoothly and felt well organized. 10/10 experience.

We traveled all over the country, but felt our time here was our favorite. Talking with the owner, the staff, and the local guides, this stay we felt more connected to the country than any other place we stayed.

We had a wonderful time at Riverside and at Krai Sorn floating cottages on Cheow Lan Lake.

Riverside Cottages staff were all so welcoming and nice. We enjoyed some river tubing the first day - food was great.

We were joined by Chai during the safari tour on the lake - very patient and informative, we saw so much on our trips, including a young elephant! Everything went super smooth, with a minor boat breakdown which was fun :) Can't wait for next time - cheers Bodhi

We had the best time! Dom took us tubing and he was the most brilliant fun. Sid took us on an night safari and we saw tarantula, binturong, macaques, chameleons, lizards, langurs and scorpions. Sid is an incredible guide with superhuman night vision. Yaya was an awesome guide on our lake overnight, we had an unforgettable time. Klong and the rest of the staff were super friendly and great fun to be around. Thanks Riverside, you were an absolute dream.
