Wenn, dann die River Bungalows
Das Araya Resort ist direkt im Ort Kong Chiam sicherlich das erste Haus am Platz. Touristen aus Europa spielen hier eine geringe Rolle. Das Haus selbst verfügt über viele Zimmer mit dem gleichen Standard. Die vier Bungalows direkt am Moon River stechen jedoch heraus. Die Lage ist phantastisch. Wenn, dann sollte man hier wohnen. Man blickt direkt auf den Fluß und in den Sonnenuntergang. Allerdings nicht unbedingt ein Platz für Langschläfer. Pünktlich zum Tagesanbruch begrüßen hier andere Gäste den ersten Sonnenaufgang in Thailand. Uns störte das jedoch nicht, im Gegenteil, es ist ein eigenes Spektakel.
