This is a no-frills massage parlor next to a busy road, so do not expect a totally quiet and relaxing environment like the other more expensive chain establishments. However, you get a great massage for a fraction of the price compared to the more pricey places. I visited twice during my stay here and was not disappointed. The masseurs are very professional and really do their best to provide a great massage session. You'll leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, knowing that you're helping to support the livelihoods of this small local business. Remember to tip well!

I am so fortunate that I read reviews and tried this place! I hurt my neck years ago, and often try massage to relieve the pain. With a LOT of experience, I can say that the massage I received at Sam Yan Massage was great. And the price was ridiculously low!

As previous reviewers noted, it is a small shop on a busy street. Don't let that deter you. Or pay 3x as much...literally...at the Mandarin Hotel across the street for a massage that is not as good.

I loved it, and will be back. Tomorrow!

I’m here visiting Bangkok for a few days. Our tour guide recommended Sam Yan since it’s across the street from the hotel I’m staying at. My wife made me join her for a foot massage.

I’m glad I joined her. It was much more than just a foot massage. Legs, hands, shoulders and neck too. I would visit again if I was here longer but I recommend that you visit if you’re reading this.

The street traffic and sirens are noisy sometimes but it’s not too bad.

Amazing Massages & Great Value! We went multiple times during our trip and would have gone back even more if we had time! Several options that can be combined for a multi hour session.

We consider ourselves people who know a few things about Thai massage, and our usual spot in BKK is Healthland. That said, we’ve come across this just before new year when all HL branches were fully booked. Saw good reviews and went for it.

We were not disappointed. Best massage we have had in years and we could safely say we have paid more for less. The shop itself is roadside and rather small, and it is not as quiet or institutionalised as HL or Let’s Relax, so don’t expect the level of serenity or premium service, but the massage quality is the same if not better and, if i may say, it is not short of friendliness and professionalism.

One peculiar thing about this place (which I have not seen elsewhere) is that we were asked explicitly to tip the masseur afterwards by the receptionist. They did not ask for a specific amount, just that you tip them.

This might rub some people the wrong way, but apart from the initial surprised, I still find that the price of the massage+tip was still cheaper than the HL for the same program so I did not mind the whole affair that much.

All in all 10/10 will go again.

Felt every bit of love and effort in their massage, the masseurs are dedicated to their craft, the technique is skillful and soothing. At one point I laid on the massage bed and thought to myself 'life is good'.

Really super-good and super worth your money.. it’s a crime not to tip! Had 2 hours of reflexology, head, neck and shoulders massage for only 600 baht or under USD$18. Very attentive and very kind too - just need to ignore the traffic noise.

Small place with really good prices and great service. The massage is good. My son told me to try and I trusted his advice even if the place looked empty. I realized that in the morning there are fewer customers because when I went back yesterday the spa was packed and the few staff was a bit confused for so many people. I would suggest to try to book in advance

Just had a one hour Thai massage here for 260 baht. I really enjoyed it. My masseuse noticed that I have a stiff neck and shoulder, and she put extra attention into relaxing my muscles there. Complimentary sweet tea is served after the massage too. Recommended massage place for everyone who is in the area.

Really good massage therapist near Samyam midtown. Though the shop may not look the part, the technique was soothing and on point. Both of us enjoyed it, and it was very reasonably priced too. Will return

Was persuaded by the other reviews to try this place out and was not disappointed. The place is small and popular, but was exceptionally clean and well managed. Was greeted warmly at the door and booked a massage for later that day. I arrived in time and they whisked me away to the massage table right away. The masseuse was friendly and attentive, making pleasant small talk while she worked away on my sore muscles, careful to work around and with my surgically repaired shoulder. My only regret is I will likely be unable to return before leaving Bangkok. 5/5, treat yourself by visiting this wonderful place.

Just great! Probably the best massage I ever had. The masseuse was such a lovely person. And she really focused on my tightnesses. Fair prices. Place is clean and I like the calming music. I will come back for sure.

I've flat feets and went here on next day after a long Songkran night. I asked to for a feet massage with the massage stick and told/showed my masseuse the spots I wanted her to take care of. I am someone who can handle a bit of pain especially releasing pain like while massage of tense spots.
If it hurts to much I told them that in Thai language (Jeb). If it felt good I also told them that (dee). Those are only 2-4 words you have to know. My masseuse considered this feedback all the time.

Even with the following full body massage she were massaging the previous mentioned sports at my feets.

All ok one I can tell the customer's wishes were taken into account and I got a massage that I needed at that moment.

I'm 189 cm in height and around 90 in weight.

Relaxing music has been played in pleasant volume value.

PS:
Even my wife, who is very skinny and has half of my weight mentioned how she enjoys the feeling after the massage.

I can recommend my masseuse. Hard to find experienced ones for my body size.

Good price. Good skill. A bit loud bcuz it's next to the street but it's ok. Try neck and head massage for an hour
