Fun Wan Hostel Bangkok

I had a great time staying at this hostel and enjoyed the variety the location had to offer in regards to what I can do and see. The downstairs social area was pretty legit, they had laundry at a reasonable rate, fantastic bar area to socialize with other travellers and served food at reasonable rates. The staff will do what they can do help you feel at home and will do their best to help you find things to do and answer questions about where to go and how to get there. Yo is definitely the person you want to talk to, he is extremely knowledgeable about the area , and is a great resource to help you with whatever issues you may have. The beds are cleaned every day, AC works, there is a key dongle to give you access to the building so no strangers can come in. Who ever said this place was a dangerous area on the other review has obviously been sheltered all their lives. I felt extremely safe inside and outside the building!!! BTS Nana is just down the street a few minutes away so you can take the train there if you want to avoid the infamous tuk tuk drivers. They do have lockers at the hostel but bring your own lock.

Low budget, clean, located near to subway and comfortable. So impressed when I saw that there were a light and outlet in front of each bed. You don't need to worry about charging your phone even if you sleep on a bunk bed lol

One of the best hostel in the heart of Bangkok. It's affordable and providing all the facilities including a spacious launch area and a full on bar with special deals every day. The food is cheap and you pay maximum 60-70 THB. The rooms are clean and the best part I like the most is the beds. Mattresses are so comfy and it's a luxury for the money you pay. Bathroom are clean, and they provide the shampoo and shower Jell. The location of this hostel is also a plus. It's close to Nana BTS station only a 400 meters walk and also close to some good restaurants and bars. The cheapest eatery in Bangkok which is 'Terminal 21' shopping centre is a 10 minutes walk from the hostel. Overall I strongly recommend this hostel to all the back packers. All the staffs are well trained and prefessional. They help with all your needs. I met lot of people and I had an amazing time.

Great place to stay, very close to BTS station nana, friendly staff, nice chill commune area with sofas and tables, wifi is good, food is very cheap and yummy and beds are comfy and the price for a night is incredibly cheap! Only thing is that there are only two showers/toilets so sometimes youhave to wait for it to be free. I recommend to stay there :)

My absolute favorite place to stay in Bangkok! The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are cleaned daily, and beds are very comfortable. The entire staff are professional and also very friendly.

I have stayed in other hostels and nice hotels while in Thailand but while at Fun Wan there is a infectious community atmosphere that is beyond priceless. If you are a social person that communicates well in groups you will find yourself not only socialzing with other guests but with the staff as well and that is what keeps me comming back the sense of community.

Not to mention close proximity to Robinson, terminal 21, MBK center, BTS, ect..you can literally walk anywhere from here or just take the BTS or taxi.

This place is a must stop in bangkok for solo travellers and groups alike. I applaud the owners and staff. Just be respectful and it will be retuned back to you ❤

(Shocked at some of the bad reviews i have stayed here 3 seperate times never had one bedbug or problems like them they are just upset guests)

Cool place with a nice vibe. I didn't stay here but visited the bar a few times to meet some folk and enjoy the atmosphere. Good drink prices and killer happy hour and daily drink specials. Would definitely recommend.

Great Hostal:
If you want a clean, quite, good room this is the place for you.
The staff is great and food is good too compare to other places around the area which is very expensive.

I will definitely come back.

What you get for your money is good. The beds are comfortable, showers are decent but most importantly the staff are very friendly and willing to show you how to get to places (cheaply)

I spent four nights in here and had a very goog feeling. 24 hours reception, comfortable bed, several services available (bar, laundry, internet) for a reasonable price.

The staff and guys who run this place are really sweet to be around. Nice atmosphere, away from the street and the quality better than the price. Food here is especially awesome. :)

Nice and quite comfy. Good price also and located fairly close to BTS station. AC in the room is off during the day.

Deep in the alley. You need to notice signs at the beginning of the road. Close to some fun place : Teminal 21, Nana or BTS stations.
