Love the super old traditional flavours. Don't have any expectation of good service. Just go for the food. Worth trying is the rice roll, cold lb cuts, oyster omelette, goose feet noodle, claypot yam rice.

This hidden gem is a must for any foodies.
Everything is cooked from a charcoal grill stove so be sure to bring a good company to chat and enjoy local beer while you wait.
Just 2 blocks from MRT station.

Authentic Chinese restaurant in the middle of Chinatown. The family running it is very kind. When we arrived it was around 8 and we were the only guests and had their full attention. Each dish was explained prepared with care and very tasty. As a foreigner you have to adjust a little using the restroom 🚻

Parking is limited on the street.

Will for sure visit again 👍

Great food, and nice authentic Thai Chinese cuisine.
Go to the back and see the kitchen’s traditional stove. The flavour really comes thru!!
Must try:
-Tofu fried with chilli and chives
-steams rolls with crab meat
-wontons ( didnt take a photo of it)
- oyster-egg fry.

And they serve ice cold singha as well!
Yummy.

Dope OG Chinese Spot - Some dishes are not mainstream but super on point. Waiting time can be long if at the peak hours, that is why lunch is always a good choice.
Dishes that I always order:
- Emee (crispy noodles with spam on top)
- Stir Fried kale with duck tongue & sardines
- Claypot Geese’s Web with Egg noodles
- Oysters omelette
- Rice paper crab rolls
- Shumai

Update: Went back to the spot this week, dinner is basically available assuming the effects from Covid. Hopefully they will be busier soon.

Had excellent fish maw soup and crab fried rice; spicy prawns were on the bland side. While it’s considered more pricey by Bangkok’s standards, the food was worth it.

Old world charm at Yaowarat Chinatown Bangkok Thailand. Traditional Chao Zhou style stir-fried and slowly cooking can still be witness at the very affordable price. I hundreds years of legend. Since the reign of King Chulalongkorn. the first place situated at the Ratchawong pier once the
main portal of Chinatown,

A pure tradition of thai Chinese food that has been around for more than 100 years.
This place deserve a star michelin: everything is home made, family owned and run, everything is just so tasty: from their sauce to their sea food.
The coal cooked food gets a unique taste.
And on top super friendly young staff.
A must try if you're in Chinatown.

It’s one of kind Teochew Chinese style you don’t eat to miss. Of course, it’s a bit pricey.

Delicious! The fried shrimp and cashew nut plate was simply delicious! Dumplings and fried rice and where also tasty, and service was very friendly. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. Not a knock, merely an observation.

salute to this 12x years old chiu chow restaurant offering excellent food.

duck feet with noodle is a must try.

generous crab meat in the rice roll and crab cake. both very tasty.

shark fin seems to be an inferior choice to the other seafood soup on the menu. the soup base though is the same. it is really the soup i like as shark fin is actually almost tasteless while for all i know many shops in thailand has no real shark fin deal anyway.

serving time can be long - it's not a fast food place.

dont forget to try their hand made ice cream to end this good meal.

This is not your average Chinese restaurant. If you are expecting chow mien, fried rice, orange chicken, you will be very disappointed. This family run restaurant serves very authentic Teochow style regional Chinese food with 100-year history that span over 3 generations! It may not serve many tables per night but it has steady loyal customers from Taiwan/Teochow region from China. Try their fish maw soup (with vinegar and mustard), steamed fish with lard, some kind of jujuebe/ginkgo nut/fried seaweed dish if you want to try unique and authentic Chinese regional cuisine.

More than century old restaurant serving Chinese food still using traditional cooking techniques (i.e. no electronic stove). A must is crispy noodle with ham, but definitely make room for “exclusive” durian ice cream. Just beware of waiting time when house is full.

I had Lobster with noodles and hot tea. I was the only costumer. The place doesn't seem busy. The tea was free. My food was amazing. Eat there again anytime.
