Pha Trom Jai Cliff

This place has a beautiful view. The surrounding area is managed by the air force. The view is spectacular and very peaceful. The singing of the birds is really relaxing.

The little coffee shop is run by the air force and is rustic but nice. They have a little food stall as well. We stayed here good bit of time just relaxing after walking through sites in Khao Yai National Park.

The highest viewpoint at the Khao Yai National Park. The scenery is not more than stunning, there are many free seats in the shade to enjoy beautiful nature

If the weather is clear a very beautiful scenery of the whole Khao Yai Nationalpark. On top is a Sweet coffee shop. Parking for free.

Hidden gems indeed. The view is peaceful and calm. There is small shop for food and drinks which the view has made them 3 times better!

Located in Khao Yai National Park, this is just one of the many picturesque spots. There are some eating stalls located inside the park. But do beware of the macaques!! Some are as big as baboons. They are not afraid of visitors and are aggressive. They will go into vehicles to steal things. Some jumped onto the back of a truck with lots of people on it. The only people that they recognize and are afraid of are the park rangers. They will make their rounds in the park to make sure that the visitors are not harmed.

This is inside khao Yai national Park area. It is about 30 min by car from the main park entrance. The view is astonishing. There's a small cafe and local eateries where you can get simple local dishes like rice, Thai omelet and somtam. Also sausages, smoothies, coffee, cha thai and package snacks. There's even a sort of gas station for petrol for motor cycles. There's a toilet in this area. Wasn't very clean compared to other areas in the park. And there's a military station. Parking is not very big, but when I went there was no issue for parking. No extra payment needed. This is included with the entrance ticket for the park, which for foreigners is a steep 400Thb plus a car fee of 30Thb for sedan cars. Cars will be charged according to the car type.

Beautiful vantage point from which to see panoramic views of the park. Well worth the extra drive to get to it.

Reaching this view point either by bicycle, motorbike or by car is well worth it! 😍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND this detour!!

The highest point of Khao Yai National Park managed by Royal Thai Air Force. Spectacular views, nice food and coffee and officially the cleanest air in Thailand!

Another good view from the Khao Yai montain. Public restrooms are available. A bit too crowded during the weekend, especially during the outspread of Covid. Even thought there is an official office up there, don't like the big motorcycles roaring around the area as the noise may disturb the wild animals.

Nice mountain view.. Long way up... We saw a car full of tourist but need turn back as car too old or heavy load to manage to go up the slope..

To go to Pha Trom Jai, you have to ride/drive about 15 kilometers from the visitor center. This place provided the rice with omelet with 40THB/dish, coffee, and some snack.
PS. The toilet is in place.

A nice short trail leading to a cliff overseeing the valley. It's about 30 mins drive from the main road and on the way to the park's highest peak. If you have a spare hour or so, it'd worth a detour.

Nice place for a visit. Up there you can rent bycicles and bike around the man-made lake. We went there during gpod temprature so it was a fun trip

Beautiful viewpoint. Worth traveling to on its own. There is two cafes available as well as restrooms. The view is fantastic.

Wonderful place for mother nature. If you are lucky, you will be able to see herds of Wild Elephants.

It is very beautiful, worth to go. From Haew Suwat waterfall about 30 minutes drive, need to be carefull as the road is going up to the hill. Arrived there around 5pm to catch the evening sunlight, so beautiful!

My favourite viewpoint, nice climb up the mountain. Good place to spot birds from the top. Be careful, most cars cross the lane marker when going around the switchbacks on the way up/down.
