Krua Kampan

Typically, I'm not well-versed in the cuisine served at Krua Kampan, yet I found myself thoroughly enjoying the exploration of their menu offerings.

The service stood out, characterized by a team of incredibly welcoming staff. Our meals were prepared swiftly and each dish showcased the freshness of its ingredients.

It’s clear why Krua Kampan has earned a spot on the Bib Gourmand section of the Michelin Guide. I recommend giving it a try, and personally, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

A very local Thai restaurant. One girl could speak English and she was really helpful. We went there twice in a row and were able to try many dishes.
Our favoriete dishes are:
Ancient spicy fried cartilage,
Fried catfish with ginger pepper,Phanaeng chicken curry.

Fermented crab is essentially raw and with very specific flavors, a little note to who wanted to try “Thai papaya salad with picked crab”

It was touched. Positive one.

Food: Outstanding Thai style locals taste and really good menus to selection. We really like it. The taste amazing one. All soups and fridge are meet our expectations. All dishes you ordered really Thai style no need to add anything extra on it. Good as it.

Service: Normal standard as restaurant.

At this we didn't expect anything as per we passed by to our hotel. But we end up with 6 dishes for 3 people with desert. My mom really love it and comments really good at first time as per she has own recipe cook

The food here is pretty much flawless. We ordered a good range of dishes from stir-fried to fried to yum to soup and every dish was delicious. Food was on the spicier side, but you can ask them to tailor the flavors to your taste. The service was also good and fast. We would advise you to go a bit earlier for lunch or go during off hours to enjoy a more quiet ambient and faster service. Would really recommend anyone who enjoys great thai food and mountain views to come here!

Edit: Came back here a second time at 1pm, and the restaurant was quite packed. We had to wait a while for food, but the taste was still worth it.

Beyond “Delicious” we loved every dish

A huge restaurant in the middle of no where! We had one of the best Thai food this trip at Kua Kampan. Every dish was perfectly made and reasonably priced. Huge dinning area great for large group gathering, as well as young kids. Do not miss this place when you are near.

Very delicious Thai food. Incredible flavors, quick service and a great view. I really recommend the fried fish with garlic (ทับทิมทอดกระเทียม) and the traditional spicy cartilage (กระดูกอ่อนผัดเผ็ดโบราณ). The coconut was also a good addition to help with the spice! I also recommend coming a little earlier ~11:30am before the lunch traffic.

Updated: Service is a little slower at 1pm because there was a tour (Sunday). However, shows that the restaurant can accommodate tables of more than 10 people. Overall delicious again

Fantastic food. Our dishes: sunflower sprouts with tofu, stir fried fish, roast duck in red curry, shrimp and salted egg with fresh vegetables, and papaya salad.

All dishes were extremely well done, portions reasonable, and price affordable.

We also had coffee which was decent.

Service is excellent and the ambience is very nice. Decor is special with the prow of a boat being used as a seating place. The wooden architecture and traditional Thai decor was also a stand out. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food. Friendly, helpful staff. Service swift. Geeat value. Roast duck curry, seafood glass noodles, stir fried mixed vegetables, rice and water for 560 Baht. Plenty for 3 people. Aroi maak!

Good place!! Have a parking. Nice staff ! Very fast servering. I was made an order and going in WC, when i come back , all dishes was in a table !!! They got a playground for childrens !!!! We come back !!

Local foods in KhaoYai so delicious and Michelin standard. Our driver recommend tis place and worth the visit..

Great food at affordable prices. Loved the steamed seabass with lime chilli especially. We also had wild boar curry, green papaya salad, fried omelette and mixed herbs salad. If you arrive before sunset, you can sit by the side to see the sun setting behind the mountains.

We had the stir-fried sunflower seedlings, red curry with duck & shrimp cakes. The food was hearty and flavorful, the restaurant was clean & spacious with an excellent view of a corn field. Good stop for lunch after visiting the National Park.

Unassuming but very good Thai food served here. The chicken hotpot was flavourful and the catfish dish that went so well with the rice.

This restaurant offers Thai food in reasonable price despite they are at tourist place. The taste is also good. We ordered Tom yum fish , fried fish, some vegetable and beer. It costs only 930 baht. They also have English menu so you don’t have to worry if you don’t understand Thai.

The foods here are all delicious.

One of the always go to restaurants when I visit Khao Yhai and looking for delicious Thai food at reasonable price. Every dish never disappoints. Portions are fulfilling too. Totally recommend.

Great local Thai food at a decent price. We ordered a ruby fried fish, fried prawn in tamarind sauce, sunflower baby shoots, calamari and green chilly. Very nice!

Rural and fantastic, outstanding good service, great views. A real pearl. Ended up here by coincidence, and started reading all the other reviews. Can only agree! This place is amazing, when looking for a nice calm lunch, you wont be dissapointed!
