food, service and location was fantastic. Pricey food compared to others around the city but still affordable and a down right bargain for the quality of what you get. I reccomend the catfish or the river prawns. Tasty cocktails and coffee too.

The restaurant itself is right on the river and was a very beautiful place, nice wood structures giving it a treehouse feel. Brilliant spot for a date or to take your partner as the sun sets, as well as plenty of space for all the families and groups we saw. Just far enough out of town to be quiet but still easy to get to.

We actually dined in the outside restaurant. It was more expensive than an average Thai restaurant but the portions were generous, the quality excellent and the service first class. All beside the river. Recommended. *** On Friday 3/11/23, a fire destroyed The Wine building. I'm not sure if adjoining restaurants are affected, I would suggest contacting them before making the journey.

📝: Visited Ayutthaya for a day trip to eat the famous grilled river prawns. The restaurant’s ambience is just perfect, located on the Chao Praya river so you get lots of wind to help stay cool on a sunny day.

❤: I haven’t had 🦐 grilled river prawns in so long. Such plump and juicy prawns, cooked perfectly so you can still taste the slightly sweetness of the fresh. Also a big fan of the 🐙🐟🥥 steamed curry with seafood in young coconut, such a delicious dish to enjoy with rice!

Food is very delicious. Great location and awesome view. service is wonderful , Pet friendly.
We will be back again.

Delicious food on the river. Jumbo river prawns are the specialty! The seafood sauce is delicious with all the seafood. Kor moo yang is good as well.

Highly recommended! This beautiful and original huge restaurant is a bit difficult to find, as it has only recently changed its name from Grand Chaopraya to The Wine Ayudhya. Now it can no longer be found under the old name on Google Map. It’s anyway truly worth an excursion. The location on the river, and the design are unique. Great hospitality, excellent Thai cuisine and a huge wine selection are offered, all at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back for sure!

I was really impressed with this venue. Indoor and outdoor seating options, including right by the river (bring bug spray if you're right by the river). Great seafood options, drinks, and appetizers. One of my favorite dishes in the entire region was found here. Green mango with sweet fish sauce is something I'd recommend to anyone to try. What an insane mixture of flavors. They absolutely nailed it. So many other good options including river prawn and fish. Staff was excellent for our large party of 15 and managed us all well.

The place, building and surrounding are photogenic where you can spend more than 20 mins for just photo.

Food is great but come with price. Shrimp is very fresh and the seafood sauce fit perfectly together.

The Grand ChaoPhraya riverside dining restaurant located at the same spot as the wine, a little difficult to find but worth the trip just reopened following month of flooding. Food was good Thai style lots of seafood dishes. Service was very attentive and it is a very relaxing spot great view and access to the river, moon rises on the opposite bank so good photo opportunities.

The server lady was very polite and friendly with great attitude. I came here just for the grilled river prawn. One large prawn costs 700 baht. The restaurant served it medium but I prefer it cooked well-done. It came with garlicky seafood sauce wasn’t too spicy for foreigners, but Thais may find it sweet, sour and not spicy at all.

Very romantic restaurant right on the river. The dishes are very fresh and tasty. The choice is huge. Very friendly staff. Always happy, my daughter seduced me here. Thanks, my darling.

The service was supurb. The food is kind of pricie compare with other local restaurant BUT the service the view and the music! Definately will comeback. Staff was all so NICE

Great atmosphere, beautiful architecture wine bar, dinner outdoor would be great. Good staff, price quite premium if you can afford it’s good.

The Grand Chaopraya Restaurant - worth a long drive for lunch! A great riverside restaurant with river prawns so big you could break 'em over your knee :). Really, they're huge, and delicious. Don't miss the squid with deep fried basil, the wing bean salad, and the soft shell crab too. Oh, and the amazing tom yum with the freshest squid and prawns. There's nothing bad about this place at all! An easy 5 stars.

Good food recommended venue with nice view. Prawns are freshly cooked. If the prawns are not fresh the resturant is willing to change to a new one at no charge. Food is quite tasty and next to most of the temples that you would want to visit in the city center.

We were there for lunch. They serve great Tjai food wuth giant river prawns at reasonable price, and grilled wonderfully tasty

A place good for sea good. All the dishes are very tasty, the surroundings is super good. The cost for each is like 650 baht including 10% service charge.

Excellent view, good solid menu for Western and Thai pallets. Professional and conscience service. Chef is remarkable in food preparation and delivery. Good vegan options too!
