Amazing place!! Art is a top host and does everything to make his guests feel at home. The food is unreal!! They cook it to your wishes and the service is great.. no wonder why this place is a reservation only restaurant.. one of the best Pad Thai and Panaeng curry of Thailand!!!
And the prices are more than reasonable and even cheap considering the quality you’ll get!!

Must book a table in advance, but it's the BEST dinner we had in the island so far...the owners are extremely friendly and very welcoming. Prices are really good and portions are big! Definitely recommend it. We're going back tomorrow again, and we're looking forward to try out new dishes.

Nothing short of incredible. The best thai food i have ever had, great service and prices. You need to reserve a few days in advance, pity we cannot come again tomorrow.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially given the lackluster food at the resort I was staying at. The couple who run this are great hosts and it's the little things that make having a meal here great. The first thing I was offered on my arrival was some insect repellant. The beer I got was served in a chilled (as in icy) glass. I got a free shot of whiskey (and later rum/coke) during my meal. Aside from this, thd hosts are happy to start conversation and are lovely people. And all this at a cost lower than I paid for abysmal food at the resort I was staying in. The quality of the dishes here is very high and as one of the other guests of the night said, you leave with the feeling of having spent a night out. Highly recommended.

Relax House

We booked this passing by on motorbike, we had to wait for two days but that's fine, as it's pretty popular.

Now it has gotten super reviews, and while I was skeptical at first we ended up wanting to give it 6 stars.

Now the food is really good, they don't have a big menu card with lot's of things, but this is a good thing. It's Thai food and nothing fancy here, it's presented nicely.

Now you can properly get just as good food else where, I have tried a few things places. You might even be able to get just as good food and at the same cheap price, but it's hard to be the kindness and service that we revised, from a souvenir bag to a good by drink, and even the owner wiping peoples scooter seats as it rained and they left, it's really next level service - and at a price where you would expect far less. All in all a lovely evening that we'll not forget, worth the try and I would recommend it strongly at this price. Don't expect it to be at the same level at something 100 times the price, but it's beat's our hotels food by a large margin at one fourth of the price, and the service is also better.

Tasteful and fresh food! Service is extra friendly! They have nice mocktails and fruit shakes too! Lovely atmosphere. You have to book in advance, but it's so worth it! Thank you for a beautiful diner, it was awesome.

Food was delicious (spring rolls were amazing!) service was quick and friendly and we felt very taken care of - it was a really fun evening and a highlight of our time on ko kood! We reserved a table by popping in a day or two before we wanted to eat there and it was no problem.

The waiter is one of the chillest dudes out there. He gives off such a chill and fun vibe.
Also the food is to die for. Stir fried garlic chicken is awesome, I ordered two portions and will probably not finish the second one because I'm full but it is so good.

Not only the Food is great, the familiar atmosphere is really outstanding. Would recommend this place strongly. Book at least a few days ahead as they don’t have many tables.

This restaurant is by far the best on the island! The food was simply awesome! We had soup, curry and pad Thai (all veggie) and loved everything! The owners are so happy and funny, and there is also some entertainment provided by Leo the lizard :) This is definitely a must, make sure you have a reservation though.

Best Thai food we ever had. Also the service was too kind to be real. We made a reservation for the next day again. You can only go had have dinner with a reservation. They also have rooms, but we did not had the chance to see them. But the couple on the next table was absolutely in love with the accommodation. Try the spring rolls!

First things first: you need to make a reservation. You can either drop by in person or call them. We initially did not know and had to return two days later to get a spot. After reading the reviews our expectations were high and we can say we did not get disappointed. The restaurant is worth to wait for.

The food is delicious. We had the Lemon Ice Tea, Tom Kha, Panang Curry and Fried Banana with Ice-cream and our dishes were made with fresh ingredients and had a strong natural flavor. The owner went above and beyond when he drove to another store to buy ice cream for us - outstanding hospitality.

Overall, our experience was superb and we highly recommend it. If there is only one restaurant you can visit on Koh Kood, you want to ensure this is your choice.

To get a table at this restaurant you have to make a reservation. So worth the effort. Service was incredible. Owner super friendly and attentive. Food absolutely delicious with affordable prices and large portions! What a winner!

Me and my husband didn't have a plan our trip at all and just found this accommodation by accident. The Relax House is a restaurant and has 2 bungalows also.
We liked the bungalow from the first view. It is well equipped, clean, very cosy and silent, has a terrace with a view on the river and jungle forest. The price includes a motorbike rental and very huge breakfast. I thought I lived in 5stars hotel, I felt like a queen here. It was the best accommodation while we were in Thailand. And it's was thankfully to The owner and his wife. They are very kind and positive people. It is a family business.
They helped us and cared a lot.
The wife of the owner is the best chef on the island, she cooked the best Thailand cuisine on the low price

Everything about this place fits the picture. The hosts are professional, attentive and funny, the food is some of the best we had in Thailand, and for a great price too. Don't hesitate to make a reservation when in Koh Kood (they only have place for 10 people!)

I read the previous reviews, it's all correct. This place has incredibly good thai food. And for some reason it's really cheap as well. The owners only take a few reservations each evening, you can't get a table otherwise. The nature and attentiveness of the owners is maybe even more exceptional than the food. They are very observant and very friendly. Definitely the best place to eat on koh kood. We discovered it late so only got to be there twice.

After visiting Thailand for two and a half week, eating in Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai and Ko Chang I found the best place to eat. Food was absolutely amazing, drinks were delicious but for first the hospitality and the way the owner treat a customer should be a lesson for the rest places in the whole world. 5 stars is not enough. But he restaurant is available only with reservation, there are only 4 tables so be prepared and make a reservation at lest 5-10 days in advance!
