Phi Phi Banyan Villa

We read reviews online and were a little worried. We did like the location everyone said so we just decided to book it. Upon arriving off the ferry from Phuket a man was waiting for us to take us to our room. He carried my bag and led us right to the hotel lobby. The location is no joke. Right in front of the beach, restaurants and shopping. Also, super close to the pier for a long tail boat day. The guy that walked us to the hotel also then waited and walked us to our room, still carrying our luggage. We were not expecting this kind of customer service experience right off the bat. The lady at the lobby was also so sweet and made check in so easy. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pool looked super nice and we loved all the plants and flowers around. We had a room with garden view. The room was super clean. You can tell they haven’t been refurbished in a while but you are in a small beach town. They have towels at the front desk you can check out for beach days which was super convenient. We had breakfast included and the buffet was great. A lot of variety of food, pastries and drinks and amazing beach front views. Your breakfast is literally on the beach. Upon checking out of our room they carried my bag to the front desk, held it till we were getting on our ferry and then carried it not only to the ferry pier but the whole way on the boat. I have never seen workers with so much care and tentativeness. This was top notch service. From the two guys who helped us and the front desk lady we would come back and stay here time and time again. Such an amazing experience for us.

We had a lovely stay! Great location and breakfast! The swimming pool is nice too. We asked for the extra bed and it was all set up nicely. We booked our boat rides out of the island through the hotel with no problem. The only problem was the mosquitoes in the room. But overall satisfied.

This hotel is in a great location, far from all the PP noice which is really important. The rooms have all the necessary. The bathroom could be a bit better. Just changing the shower phone would be a great improvement. Great price for value compared to other PP hotels.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The breakfast has plenty of variety and the best views ever. Our room was cool and clean with a large comfy bed. The staff were helpful and thoughtful especially the reception manager. We will be back.

This is one of the best hotels at Koh Phi Phi. Any other hotel of similar stature to this will a bit inside or other side of pier and main market but Banyan Villa is right in the middle of everything. 3-4 mins walk from pier. 1 min from Beach. 5-6 mins from other side of island with night life. The staff were highly accommodating and professional.
A lot of people are not fan of old style hotels with wooden finish, but personal I love it owning to the fact that it is right on beach in a tsunami prone zone of world, it is understandable.

5 mins walk from/to Ton Sai Pier and is located in the heart of everything on phi phi.

Rooms were decent although the wooden floor creaks when people walked past your room.

Lovely Hotel. nice little pool. Chinese style Gardens. on the beach in the middle of everything, bars. nightlife. Shopping. And restaurants. 2 minute walk from the harbour / Pier

Rooms need a bit of renovation but still has a nice design, nice pool, good quiet location, very polite staff and a good gym with a wide variety of equipment.

The amenities are amazing. The breakfast is a full breakfast buffet style and was included in the price. The room was very clean and they let us check in a couple of hours early (it was raining). The staff was so nice and even checked on us when we were out. They will be waiting for you as you get off the ferry and or boat. They offer a welcome drink as well. We had the garden view and it offered a view of the pool and garden. It is located in a great spot near the main area. The gym is complimentary as well.

A hotel only a few steps from the Pier, and in a great location for all other amenities. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, perhaps a little dated but everything worked well. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was over the road on the beachfront and it had a good variety - cant fault it. The pool area was small (only 5 loungers) but the pool itself was perfectly sized and a nice temperature. There are a lot of mosquitos around the bushes so be sure to wear repellent most of the day to try and avoid bites. The on-site gym was great - no AC but plenty of fans and free towels. it has a great view of the bay and a huge selection of equipment.

Excellent services and facilities, The best seafood restaurant by the beach “Tonsai”. Don’t miss the grilled snapper and chocolate mousses and milk bread.

Great location with 5mins walk from the pier, has decent options for vegetarian breakfast.

This is a traditional Thai-style wooden building. The rooms and balconies have a very Thai flavor. The overall environment and equipment are not too old or too high-end. It is very intimate that he has a welcome drink, and his restaurant Just opposite the hotel, you can eat directly on the beach while watching the beach. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the port. After disembarking, the hotel staff will help you with your luggage. Just follow him and you will arrive in less than five minutes. I've been drinking too late these days, so I didn't eat breakfast 😂❤

Nice location, really close to the beach and the busy streets. The hotel has a classic design, rooms are clean.

Absolutely loved our stay. Close to Tonsai Bay and the sea. Close to all the restaurants and the rooms were really big. The breakfast was okay nothing great but for the price point nothing to complain. The view from the restaurant we had our breakfast was really nice. The pool was good. The staff were super friendly.

This was my second visit to Phi Phi and I decided to stay right down on the Beachfront. This is a well established hotel and has had good maintenance. The room showed wear but that is to be expected in an older Thai hotel. Comment - the shower drain was slow draining.
The included breakfast was really quite good and I will comfortably give a 5 star rating to this as a Thai hotel, maybe not as a hotel elsewhere but I quite liked it.

It was good, If u have a short stay at phi phi and want vegetarian breakfast options and a sea side breakfast 🥞❣...u must chose this...It is very close to pier...Loved it..

Its a peaceful n beautiful property in phi phi island. We booked it for 3 nights. We wish we could stay for at least a week. Everything is at walking distance in phi phi. There is a beach in front of this hotel which is awesome. They have seaside restaurant. Ambiance of this hotel is beautiful.

Would book here and stay again that's for sure, lovely accommodation, fairly priced and with breakfast included, spot on for what we were after. Phi Phi is simply amazing, and this hotel didn't disappoint
