Every corner of the island was amazing.
Stone formation is unbelievable😮. From food, beach vibes to Party at night is absolutely enjoyable and unforgettable.

If only the guests of the island, the Europeans, would behave with dignity!
Don't walk around the island naked, and don't put your feet on the table in public places!

I recommend the caberet, the Barracuda restaurant, the clothing stores, Zoko bamboo poke tattoo, the bars and clubs where the DJs perform, as well as the fire dancers on the beach!

We flew from South Africa, to Dubai, to Bangkok. Took an Inland flight to Chumpon, and then a 2 hour ferry to Koh Tao.

Such a special place to be. Very beautiful beaches and view points. The island offers great variety of food as well. But you have to be very active to experience the different beautiful bays!

Amazing island for snorkelling, the corals are marvellous, I can understand why it’s called the best snorkelling spot of the planet. Would recommend royal mariblue if you want a one day excursion, they go to the best spots and it’s very well organised.

Probably the best island for me so far ! Beautiful beaches , great snorkeling and i found turtles and baby sharks, reasonable accommodation and bars and restaurants ,easy to access from mainland or nearby islands !

I had an amazing time snorkeling in Koh Samui! Taking a 1-day trip to the islands further away was the best decision I made during my Thai trip. The crystal-clear ocean was absolutely breathtaking and made me incredibly happy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to make unforgettable memories. The most beautiful island in Thailand we went to so far. Very nice place for diving activities! (I did the open water dive at Roctopus Dive and really enjoyed it). There even was a turtle swimming right next to us! The best is to hire a scooter and discover the island. Shark bay is also very nice for snorkeling.

Our favourite island . Beaches are beautifully clean , you can snorkel from the beach and see loads of colourful fish. ( That picture with all the plastic is not Ko Tao) Amazing restaurants from really cheap Duck 995 to expensive Whitening. But you have a great choice . 60 th birthday treat, a try scuba diving course with LBD . Wow.

Beautiful island. Stayed here for a month and explored everything around with a bike. A lot of beautiful beaches, viewpoints and nature. Nice food all around, a lot restaurants and bars. Also a few options for partying. A place to be if you like diving or snorkeling. Such a rich marine life. People are also very friendly and helpful. The prices are very affordable. So happy that the island is recuperating after coronavirus, though a lot of places still remain closed.

The beach is good (nice sand and close to the water) but when I was asleep in the sun a dog ate half my girlfriends lunch sandwich and did a urine on her hat. So, be careful. There is lots of really fun diving there but I can’t swim so i’m not doing that.

Although beautiful this island paradise is well known for unsolved and mysterious deaths many people have been found passed away through mysterious circumstances and the Thailand police haven't seemed very interested in solving their deaths actually seemed to be the opposite reaction to some island goer passing away, even locals have told families to leave and not discuss the death because of higher powers in play on the island ,I'm not a genius but even to me the storys I've heard were very suspicious and strange

Nice small island have a lot thing to explore,you can rent scooter to ride all the island,and snorkeling ,scuba diving,hiking,beach vibe,try bamboo tattoo ….very recommended to visit here

Koh Tao island is an amazing island with great snorkeling and tons of diving shops throughout. Even if you’re just there to relax head to Sairee beach and enjoy the calm waters of the gulf of Thailand.

Wonderful island with untouched nature and rich in marine life.
- the price is much cheaper here in comparison to Koh Samui, the nearby island.
- it is easy to travel within this small island by motorbike
- activities you can do here is snorkeling, following the trail to trek the hill around the island and stops en route at certain beach to swim, sunbathing.
I can spend hours snorkeling, watching coral and swimming with colorful fishes of different shapes and sizes, such an amazing and unforgettable experience. Sometimes you don’t need to swim far to see the fishes, they are just by the shore when you put your feet in the water.

Restaurants, nightspots and dive shops cluster in Mae Haad Beach and near Sai Ri Beach.
Villas dot palm-fringed beaches such as Chalok Baan Kao Bay, on the south coast. In the northwest, Koh Nang Yuan is a group of islets with hilltop views.
Ko Tao is known for its tropical coral reefs, with species including whale sharks and rays. Hawksbill and green turtles gather here to breed.

It is my no. 1 favourite destination in Thailand. It takes some hours to get there but it’s worth the effort. The most beautiful white sandy beaches with the best snorkelling and diving. Accommodations to suite every preference. Very chilled fun seeking crowd, mostly dive enthusiasts. Highly recommended!
