Centara Karon Resort

Highly recommend Centara Karon. They are apparently closing in a few weeks or so for a massive renovation so feel lucky to have been able to stay in time, and given this renovation is happening honestly things are still being kept in amazing condition. Rooms are lovely and big. Pools are incredible and well maintained. Just love them! Great food, pizzas are so yummy and the Chefs Special Pan Fried Chicken Breast, amazing breakfasts with huge selection that changes daily - in a beautiful setting. Super clean. Lush tropical gardens everywhere and huge grounds. Staff are so friendly and lovely and smiley. Room serviced daily. Location is just perfect! Special mention for Lavle in the restaurant who provided great service and was always smiling and friendly and worked so hard, and the family loved the Muay Thai session with Kon over by the Gym - what an awesome experience and he was an excellent teacher. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous hotel, great food at restaurant and beautiful staff. Kids loved the pool, rooms spacious and well equipped. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff, so friendly and helpful. The hotel went out of their way to accommodate us when there was an issue with our booking at another hotel. Excellent location near the beach, a night market and many restaurants.

It was such a lovely stay! Facilities was clean and staff was friendly who’s always anticipated our needs. Gym had all the equipment I needed and Pool was heated and warm. Overall, would recommend to friends and family! Kudos to the staff Ming and Rainny for fast and easy checkout, but want to especially thank Noey for her outstanding customer service skills and ensured my stay in Phuket was a memorable one! 💙

During our recent three-day stay at Centara Karon Resort Phuket, I must say it was a fantastic experience, especially for families. The resort's location was superb, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The surrounding market was vibrant and lively, providing a pleasant shopping experience. We even took advantage of the nearby tattoo shops to get some ink done, which added to our memorable vacation.

While there weren't many Indian shops in the vicinity, we did find one that met our needs, albeit at a slightly higher price point. However, considering the limited options, it served us well. Additionally, the resort was surrounded by 7/11 shops and bars, making it convenient to grab necessities or enjoy a drink.

The restaurant at Centara Karon Resort Phuket offered a satisfying dining experience. The food was of good quality, and the variety of choices catered to different tastes. The resort boasted multiple pools, which were a hit with guests. However, I would suggest that the kids' play areas could be improved to provide more entertainment options for younger guests.

Overall, Centara Karon Resort Phuket is a great place for families to stay. Its prime location, coupled with the nearby market and amenities, ensures convenience and a vibrant atmosphere. While there were a few areas that could be enhanced, such as the kids' play areas, our overall experience was delightful. We would gladly consider returning to this resort in the future.

Centara Karon Resort - Practical Hotel with Beautiful Natural Environment

Centara Karon Resort is a four-star resort affiliated with Centara, a leading Thai hotel brand, and opened in 1999 and has 335 rooms. Centara Karon Resort is located in the representative commercial district of Karon Beach. It has a local restaurants, massage shops, currency exchange, laundry shops, travel agencies, taxi service, fruits shops, etc. around the hotel, and 400 meters away, there are Karon temple night market, currency exchange, convenience store, fruit store, etc.

Centara Karon Resort is a large resort with a large site and is one of the preferred hotels for travelers as it has various room types and various facilities. It has good facilities such as three large swimming pools, a kids club, a fitness club, and a spa shop, and the green environment such as beautiful gardens and forests is good, so travelers are highly satisfied. In particular, the swimming pools have a water slide, making it an ideal environment for a family trip team with children.

Centara Caron Resort has developed a shopping mall, and shops such as local restaurants, massage shops, currency exchanges, laundry, travel agencies, and fruit shops are located. About 400 meters from the hotel's entrance, the Paytak Road, which connects Caron Circle and Charon Circle, is very convenient with pharmacies, currency exchange, massage shops, fruit shops, boot stores, banks, and Caron Temple night markets.

Huge facilities with pools, tennis courts, gym etc. They are a bit old (the resort seemed partly under maintenance - main building) but the staff was super kind and everything went smooth. Good breakfast and close to Karon beach for a fabulous sunset. With that said, I would give still 5*.

Can not fault the hotel, room cleaned everyday, fresh water given, 2 swimming pools, 1 with slides & quite large pool just at the back of the Azure breakfast room. Very good selection of breakfast, all very enjoyable & spotlessly clean. Staff polite & friendly, would recommend this hotel. Thankyou for a great holiday

I couldn't find any faults. Beautiful staff who made sure that we were happy, nothing was too hard. Room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job cleaning the room daily and making sure that there was fresh water. Food was delicious. We loved it so much that we will be back next year.

The staff are so lovely, especially Noey and Joy who work at the restaurants- they always helped us with menu’s and were very kind to our son. Jean was always very friendly and happy and tae was great- always made sure my wife had gluten free options.

All of the waiting staff were lovely -always smiling and ready to help- we had a great time at Centara and would definitely come back.

Staff so helpful, pleasant and keen to please. Food at breakfast excellent, accommodation a bit tired looking. However very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Linen and room services daily. Reception so welcoming but do agree with previous review that pool music sounds and feels like punishment after a while. Any repair or problem is attended to promptly. Thankyou all for making our stay here very enjoyable.

We stayed here in a family group. The food was superb 👌. There are 3 different pools, one with slides for all the family. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

Nam at the kids club was amazing with my 3 girls. Bead making and nail painting the highlights. Centara Karon is the perfect place to stay in Phuket. Nice and central to all the shops and just a 5 min stroll to the beach. It’s the Perfect location for a stay with older kids. Pools and slides also a huge bonus

Nana at the adult pool is an excellent asset to your resort. My wife and I have been here for two weeks and her service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and her smile is infectious.

I usually stay at the Centara Grand, however thought to give the Centara Karon Resort a chance. Delighted by the services and amenities of this resort for the price point. Family friendly and clean spacious rooms are necessities this resort provides. Having close proximity to local shops, restaurants, bar and beach is an absolute plus above the Centara Grand. Already looking at future holidays here next time I'm in the tropical holiday mood!

We have just checked out from our 5th visit to Centara Karon, and as usual we had the best time! Amazing meals (the breakfast buffet is incredible), beautiful pools and gardens, top location and very friendly staff, especially Donus and Fai at the front desk! We were told it is closing for a renovation in a few months (closed for almost 2 years), so we can’t wait to come back to the new and improved Centara Karon!

Lovely resort, staff very friendly and helpful. Bedding towels etc changed every day. There were 2 dining area's, we preferred the one by the pool but both were very nice. Plenty of variety of food but was a little repetitive at breakfast time, but all presented nicely. There are also 3 swimming pools which were lovely, we preferred the adults pool but the children's pool looked great and if you're there with the kids there is a kid's club as well. Really enjoyed the Centara and would recommend it.

Knows several languages, which makes it easy to communicate with children. every day new fakes, souvenirs. Thanks! children were always at work, especially valuable in the rain and at the peak of the sun. Thanks!!!

Karon Beach Centara was excellent as usual, all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We spent a bit of time around the pool bar, and there was one staff member Nina who was the best we had behind the bar. She was keen to learn English and one of the only bar staff that could understand and speak English. Nina even showed us an English written novel she had been reading to improve her English. She was always polite, friendly and had a smile on her face. Happy to help us, nothing was to hard. We wish her well in her hospitality career.

We are having a wonderful time at karon centara resort. The hotel is clean and the rooms are big snd comfortable. The food at breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. Our room is located next to the lagoon pool and pool bar. We have been very impressed by the service provided by Nana and Nui, they are so helpful and friendly, they are a wonderful asset to the resort , thank you for really making our stay !!!

Danijela, Tina, Kenan and David are amazing ,friendly, professional and take care of kids during our stay in central grand Phuket . Danijela is really time changing for kids activity and they all made our stay fabulous. I wish to just book any hotel they perform , thanks and god bless you
