Avista Grande Phuket Karon - MGallery

We have had the pleasure of staying at the MGallery in Karon several times over the years.  It is quickly becoming one of our favorite hotels in the area.

The hotel is set up as a very boutique-style resort, providing a unique and personalized experience for guests.

One of the standout features of the hotel is its location, which is just a short steep walk to Karon Beach. While the walk may not be suitable for everyone, it is well worth it for the stunning views and the peacefulness of the beach.

Another highlight of my stay was dining at the Portosino Restaurant, which quickly became one of my favorites. The breakfast spread was amazing, and I highly recommend booking with breakfast to make the most of your stay. What's more, they always had a good amount of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a great choice for those with dietary restrictions.

The pool setup at the hotel was also really nice, with plenty of loungers and shade for those wanting to relax and soak up the sun. The ambiance of the hotel was peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a much-needed break.

Overall, highly recommend the MGallery Hotel Collection in Karon to anyone looking for a unique and personalized hotel experience. The location, dining options, and pool setup are just a few of the reasons why it quickly became one of our favorite hotels in the area. So if you're looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Karon, this is definitely the place to be.

We just stayed here for two weeks. Everyday was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The breakfast at this place is SO good! Staff are kind. We had a balcony sea room, definitely worth the extra money as we could watch the sunset every night if we wanted to. Housekeeping is very good, they clean everyday and even change the bedding daily. This was good as the bedding could get sandy from the beach. The beach and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away.
Worth noting that sun loungers do get reserved early, from 7am. By 9:30am they are pretty much all reserved

We stay in this beautiful hotel for three nights and every night was amazing. We thought it is too short stay. We should have had the entire holiday spent here stunning view from the room, very nice and spacious room. We are happy to be here. Great foods are better restaurant pool is also very Big. I would say the hotel is very nicely maintained. Great atmosphere. Above all Stuff was amazing They really Looked after us and thank you all your excellent job and making us feel amazing. great help from Ms. Pangpond from reception to arrange my special evening. Definitely a great hotel to stay

Excellent 4 nights spent amazing hotel with world-class design we really like our room very nicely maintained. Swimming pool is stunning, the blue color is amazing we spent most of the time at the pool side. Staff is amazing they looked after us throughout the stay especially Mr. Vansh and Sun. They are stars, helped us allot for organizing tours at the last moment. Breakfast spread is great we loved the food. Overall the property is very beautiful nicely maintained recommend for all kinds of travelers great place to stay at Karon beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. Good location, great ocean views. Staff was amazing and extremely responsive… top notch. Loved the pool but staff should prohibit patrons from saving pool lounge chairs for hours and hours and not showing up while the people who are currently using the pool are stuck with no lounge chairs. I had to just take a lounge chair I had been watching for over an hour unmanned. An hour and a half later another guest came down and got upset and yelled at me as if they had exclusive rights to the lounge chair. I saw this happen several times. So rather than the guest going back and forth with one another, the hotel needs to implement a policy; first come first serve. Not first come, lay your towel down at 10A, and return at 12:30 expecting to claim exclusive rights to a lounge chair while other guest are stuck sitting on the edge of the pool deck with no where to lounge or eat while half of the chairs being claimed by guest towels who are not actually at the pool. But I digress, other than that, the hotel and staff were amazing.

I spent a lot of time trying to find the best hotel in Phuket, and I was not wrong in my decision. This hotel is absolutely perfect, both in location, amenities, rooms, restaurants and service. On the beach, but not right on the main street, reducing the noise and smoke from cars and motorbikes. One of the best restaurants in Karon is located in this hotel. Highly recommended is a swim-up room with an ocean view like ours. Our House Maid named Joy is the kindest and most humble person I have ever met, she made sure everything in our room was perfect. I would return to this hotel without a doubt.

We had dinner at Portisino and we're amazed! The food variety is incredible and the food is actually chef's kiss. T
Chef Pang also came out twice to greet us and make sure the food is good. I'm vegan, and the Chef went out of their way to make me a vegan Thai curry off menu! Would definitely recommend and come back

If looking for the nice hotel you should come to stay here, room cleaned, pillow very soft the cookies that set in the room so nice. The hotel not far from the beach and local attractions, Too many food options and Dew the bar man in restaurant he very nice and make us the great cocktails. Reception was really great service the manger Van and Oil, Rena so nice and friendly. See you next time I will come back.

We spent six nights at the MGallery Karon and it was a great experience from check-in to check-out.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There are two sides of the hotel. One faces the sea or the pool, and the other the hills. Of course the sea view is great especially when the is a sunset.

We tried all restaurants at the hotel. Breakfast selection is impressive and covers European and Asian dishes. Two evening restaurants provide good selection. But especially Char'd is an experience on its own, as some of the tables are in a shallow pool. Still the food was very tasty, too.

There's a spa, too, which has a wide range of pampering treatments.

The staff is very helpful and polite. To the extent that we got a surprise birthday celebration from the hotel. It was extremely thoughtful!

I'd definitely stay at this hotel if I were visiting Phuket again!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here at Avista Grande Phuket Karon. The room was spacious and tastefully designed with beautiful views. We also had an amazing dinner at Char'd restaurant. The ambiance was stunning, the food was beautifully served, and the service (special shoutout to Tang Thai) was flawless, which made our dining experience so memorable. Their award winning spa is also highly recommended as the service and the massage was one of a kind. The manager of the spa also prepared us a gift. It was such a sweet gesture which we really appreciate. Also, a shout out to the hair stylist from the salon who gave me a lovely haircut! All in all, from the front desk to house keeping to the bar and restaurant staff, their kindness, helpfulness, attentiveness, and warmth in caring for their guests made our vacation a truly great experience. We highly recommend Avista Karon and definitely have plans to return while visiting Phuket!

Booked into Portosino for our one year wedding anniversary and belated honeymoon. We did not stop in this hotel but after seeing the grounds we wish we did!!
The food and service both great, and an amazing atmosphere in the restaurant.

Chef Pang walked round to meet all guests which was really lovely!

Would visit again if back in Karon.

During our recent stay at Avista Karon, my family and I were treated to an exceptional hospitality experience, enhanced significantly by our Accor Plus membership.

The hotel location is perfect short walk to beach and restaurants.

Breakfast in the restaurant is really worth to try! The food is fantastic whether it’s breakfast or dinner.

Everyone is so friendly! I have to make special mention of manager Kirill ,he made our stay simply amazing with his kind attitude and attention to our needs.

Our vacation was fantastic; we couldn’t be happier with our stay at this hotel. It was impeccably clean, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully cozy. A huge thanks to Kirill for helping us with all of our questions. Moreover, the breakfast was outstanding, and the location couldn’t have been better.

While we ended up not being able to travel as originally planned, I wanted to express my gratitude for this hotel's stellar level of customer service. They were very responsive, helpful, and polite. Abhishek, their Reservation Manager, impressed me with his incredible balance of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Engaging with their reservations team to work through our travel plan changes felt like a white glove experience. I can only imagine what staying at the actual hotel would be like!

The hotel, the food and the service were fantastic. The hotel is right next to the beach and has a beautiful pool area. Our cleaner Nickky was very conscientious and did a great job. Our Room was tidy and clean every day.

From the warm welcome to the stunning views, our stay at Avista Grande at Karon Beach in Phuket was unforgettable. The staff's attention to detail made us feel truly valued. We were a family of 4 (9 and 11 year old) sharing a sea view room overlooking the ocean. The room was large enough to accommodate a king and queen bed and was very clean. The view of the ocean and pool was stunning. The pool itself was the highlight for us - one of the better hotel resort pools we've experienced. The staff were friendly albeit seemed a little junior. The drinks at the bar were average at best. Other than that we loved the stay and would be happy to come back again.

Amazing hotel overall. If I had to point out something then Maybe the staff at the Portosino needs to be more attentive. Definitely a re-visit kind of hotel.

We just returned from a family holiday at Avista Grande and the impressions are fresh.
We can warmly recommend the hotel, considering :
-the good location, across the beach, in a tranquil zone of Karon, but in walking distance of shops and restaurants
- quick check in (1 hour from our arrival, even if we arrived at 10 in the morning) and late check out (as part of All Silver member status)
-large and very well equipped rooms, comfy beds, soundproof etc
- large pool, suitable also for kids ; pool bar is a nice touch ; also the fact that the pool is opened up to late hours is very nice
- very good and diversified breakfast
- nice and well equipped kids club, having good opening hours
- not least, in fact one of the highlights, very nice and helpful staff, starting with the booking, front desk, Portosino restaurant, room cleaning ; many thanks to Abhishek for his support on the booking and all confirmations up to arrival, to all staff at kids club (our youngest son loved to spend time with them) and Kiril at front desk for helping with arranging our trips
As a constructive feedback - better organize the events at restaurants and maybe a lower price for them. We booked Little Bangkok Little Rome, but we renounced to go with it, as the food selection was not as appealing/diversified to justify the price.
All in all, a holiday to remember in one of the best hotel in the Karon-Kata area.
Again, fully recommend and hope to return some day.
