Karon Aussie Bar

Great place to sit up next to the bar and talk with someone next to you.
Suited me as I travel on my own and it was really good to chat with the friendly owner and another Aussie.
No lady drink hassles, staff good.
Would go again next time I am in town.

A great place for a few coldies, or something a little harder. Kenny is an expat Aussie who is very friendly and always good for a chat. He is a wealth of information about Thailand. The bar has a great atmosphere. If your into rugby or AFL, the latest matches are always playing on one or more of the Tv's for easy viewing. The bar staff are warm and cheery. If you are hungry there is a restaurant directly across from the bar area. They will take your order and brig it over to you. The food is top notch also.

Was one of my go-to's while staying in Karon Beach, mostly because the staff (specifically the bartender Pom) are really friendly and fun to talk to, and of course the man of the hour, Kenny. Great chap. Friendly, funny, and very welcoming. Can't wait to be back when I return.

Kenny went out of his way to help us get the Aussie Matilda’s match up on the big screen. Food comes from next door and was brilliant, and Kenny has the coldest beers in Thailand I reckon! Was a great night

The owners... it's a couple they really care about the customers. and it shows... They run a nice neighborhood style beach bar. .. sports bar?? !!! He has many channels... Sunday night football 🏈 from America and a Aussie breakfast. It was 5 star's. The bar is also a restaurant and cannibas business..The Aussie breakfast is a must. The bar is a laid back style neighborhood pub beach saloon reprieve from the usual "buy me. A drink." ..Phuket bar scene

The owner is a artesian cannibas cultivator... I highly recommend his products. His prices are simply the best . Karon Aussie bar I highly recommend what he sells he grows and it's a really quality and value... He knows what he is doing.

Excellent food and attentive service

I haven’t eaten here hence the star rating. But we were hot and foot sore as we slowly shopped our way from our hotel to the beach .. feeling so parched we tried to buy a beer but local restaurants said no. Ok it was 1 pm .. but we stumbled across this place and before you knew it we both had the coldest beer in our hands. Kenny arrived and by his presence alone I deduced he was the owner. What a nice chap, as we interrupted his work to introduce ourselves. The first beer had to be followed by another and that set us up for continuing in the heat down to the beach. We are going back to the beach today, but we will be stopping off for a beer no fear Mate !

The best bar in Karon! Kenny is the owner with Monty. Kenny is a bloody legend and the atmosphere is perfect. Please go and buy Kenny a Jager bomb for me, tell him it’s from “Kiwi”. Tip the bartender because she is worth it. “Pom”…well….no words…. Can’t wait to be back there in 12 months!

Had an impromptu visit here about six months ago and had an absolutely amazing time. The owner of the place is a gem of a bloke and if you stay there for the whole day (as I did) there's no shortage of colourful characters from around the world who stop in. One of the best days I had in Thailand.

Yes a good bar(especially to watch sports). Friendly service. A lot of Ozzie expats drink here. Keith's a great manager.

He’s took me home when I was to drunk to drive, he sent his staff for food for customers
He knows Karon and is always helpful, 2 times I’ve been and Kenny was there, helping me with rental bikes, accommodation, everything

Great place for Aussies, New Zeelanders and Northen people, and every one else with simular mind set! Great band and awesomme staff. Comming back for sure soon to get my #ss kicked in a game of pool or just listning to the band. Thanks guys! 😃
