Chang Gym

Tried some big commercial gyms,
Couldn't come to Thailand without trying a traditional gym.
So glad I came here
Very friendly, not the greatest English but neither were the big gyms.
Added to experience and they would show technique rather than just say.
Good quality training, technical help and knowledge from active fighting coaches

We took private lessons almost everyday, very good coaches, authentic atmosphere, suitable for all levels

Chang Gym is really great, the guys who runs it are all fighters and the sessions are really tough 😅

The atmosphere is nice and familiar 👍

I recommend Chang Gym to anyone who wants to train Muay Thai, it doesn't matter if you’re a beginner (like me) or a professional, they take care of you in the best way!

A good gym with great trainers who are very invested in learning you good techniques

I am 62 years of age and was blown out of the water by this gym. Ben and his fellow fighters are amazing. They are extremely helpful and are very very friendly. Each workout goes for 2 hours and they watch each client very closely as it is extremely hot and they make sure you are resting and drinking plenty of water during the session. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough they are equipped for all ages. I will definitely be back there next year on my next trip to Kata. Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't listen to the bad reviews. Really nice friendly people, you get out what you put in.

Amazing training, by professionals. For a beginer was tough but very good. They showed all the moves, taught them individualy. 100% recomend!

A nice, small local muay thai gym in the heart of Kata Beach. Personal session is 1 hour, it costs 600 THB and includes warm up, pads, heavy bag, abs and recovery at the end. They give you hand wraps and gloves there for free. I was there at 08:00 in the morning and I was alone with the coach. Not a bad experience, to be honest. I also asked and bought the gym’s t-shirt to support the gym.

Das ist traditionelles Muay Thai, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Kein moderner High Tech, nir altes, authentisches Material und sensationelle Trainer. Habe das Personal- & Gruppentraining absolviert und würde jederzeit HIER weiter trainieren. Kompetent, respektvoll, immer zum spaßen aufgelegt.

Als je op zoek bent naar een traditionele muay thai sportschool raad ik je Chang aan. Wat een fijne plek om muay thai te beoefenen. Alles is rauw en echt aan deze sportschool. Ik ga hier iedere zomer trainen.

Das Chang Gym ist sehr sehr zu empfehlen, es ist zwar einfach ausgestattet, hat aber alle was man zum erlernen von Muay Thai braucht. Einfach super sowie das ganze Team. Einfach klasse.

Классный зал, можно купить абонемент и заниматься каждый день. Есть туалет, душ, магазин.

19.12.17. Хороший, просторный зал. Инвентарь (мешки)для тренировок пойдет.
Хорошая атмосфера, тренера постоянно следят за всем процессом. На Ката это единственный кемп. 400 бат. Всем рекомендую.
